- Yakari is a young Native American boy from the Sioux tribe. With a special gift, a pure heart and a clever mind, Yakari has many adventures and learns just as many lessons while helping those around him.
- In these animated versions of cartoons, the eponymous rascals, naughty street-kids in the 'Marollen', a poor but colorful quarter of Brussels, spend their time playing pranks, mainly on each-other and a fat policeman, who may never catch them, however often and hard he chases one or both of them after some mischief, while blowing his whistle and wielding his truncheon.
