- The owl and the lemming in this animated film are short-legged, plumply stuffed puppets made of seal-skin by Inuit artists. The accompanying song and voices are in Inuktitut, although the legend is narrated in English. It preserves on film an example of Inuit folklore that may in time disappear.
- This short re-tells the old Inuit myth about how the Raven came to have its black feather colour as a result of a disagreement with the Owl.
- Having outwitted and killed a giant, the man creates a river to escape the giant's wife. She, drinking the river waters to reach the other side, changes to fog.
