- A small hungry dog tries to mooch some food from Farmer Al Falfa, who today is a butcher, busily chopping up large pieces of meat in front of his shop. The dog finally just resorts to outright theft, as well as a gang of other dogs, who run off with everything not bolted down. A dog catcher proves totally ineffectual, and the mutts he's already put into his wagon escape, and Al loses more of his goods.
- Some "jazz tonic" restores Grandma's youth. When the Big Bad Wolf pays a visit, he and Grandma decide to marry on the spot; but Little Red Riding Hood finds a way to stop the wedding.
- Farmer Al Falfa is a patrolman rollerskating through the park. A day of misadventures climaxes with a monkey stealing his clothes.
- A cat loves a canary. The canary is wooed and won by another bird, but the match proves a failure and she returns home. The cat goes out and devours the other bird. This shows him what delightful food a bird is and returning home he devours the canary.
- In a twist on the old story, the Ugly Duckling is thrown out for being different. But kidnappers stealing the rest of his fellow hatchlings give him a chance to prove his worth.
- Henry the cat is lonely after seeing other creatures (mice, birds, and frogs) with their sweethearts. He notices a sign advertising "Mlle. Fifi" at the opera house. After a fortune teller tells him she will marry him, he proceeds to the show where he chases her on stage during her act. Later he saves her from a thief.
- A mouse's girlfriend is kidnapped by a vicious cat. The boy mouse sets out to rescue his sweetheart from the clutches of the evil feline.
- A cat abuses his mouse-slave, serenades a girl-cat and devises a mousetrap.
- A Kid was perched up on the top of a house, and looking down saw a Wolf passing under him. Immediately he began to revile and attack his enemy. "Murderer and thief," he cried, "what do you here near honest folks' houses? How dare you make an appearance where your vile deeds are known?"
- Mice sold into slavery and driven to pick cotton by whip-cracking cats plot their escape to freedom.
