- Buster and Tige are in bed asleep. A fly hectors the dog, who brushes it away. It lights on Buster's face. The dog smashes it with his paw. A policeman is at the window getting coffee from the cook. Buster, with the aid of stilts, impersonates a tall cop, goes to the window and introduces himself as the new roundsman. She serves him pie. The dog bites at the stilts, throwing him out of balance and catapulting the pie into the cook's face. Another custard pie covers the dog, who washes himself -at a fountain. The schoolmaster scolds Buster when he comes to school late. Tige sneaks in and sits beside Buster while the teacher snoozes. When discovered, the teacher throws him out, but he gets in again. A little boy at the next desk munches a piece of Limburger cheese which nauseates Tige. The dog and cheese are thrown out again. The teacher calls Buster to the desk and orders him to give him what he has in his hand. Buster slips a giant cracker under the chair, which explodes when the teacher sits down. Tige runs around with the cheese in his mouth, and as he passes beneath a board fence all the birds on the fence drop dead. For revenge on the teacher he jumps into the window of the school with the Limburger throwing the place into a furor.
- This is the story of the heartless mother whose burdens are such that she would be rid of her two children. The henpecked father is compelled to take them to the woods and there lose them. Gretel drops bread-crumbs to find her way home, but wild-fowl eat the crumbs and they are truly lost. The babes wander to the home of a witch, who would fatten them up to make ginger-bread of them. As they are about to be thrown into the blazing furnace Peggy outwits the witch, and, in turn, the witch is thrust into the roaring flames, as the mother, repentant, heads the neighbors in the work of rescue.
- Buster Brown gets upset when Mary Jane invites him to a party and gives all her attention to a new boy. Mary Jane is upset because Buster got upset. Tige sets out to get Buster back in Mary Jane's good graces. A piece of tobacco in a candy sack seems like a good idea.
- Parents lament at their lazy 20-year-old daughter, so her father fixes her up with a Mountie in the hope he will inspire her to marry.

- When Baby Peggy closed her little eyes, little did she realize that the same night she would capture a bold, bad burglar. Her toys and balloons met the burglar every way he turned until at last he ran into the wall, stunned. A passing policeman took him with him, and Baby Peggy closed her eyes to sleep her Beauty Sleep. The next day her suitors called - one at a time. When Harry called he was thrust into the closet when James rang the front bell. James, too, was thrown into one of the obscure corners of the house. This continued in turn as Henry and David each paid their respects with a call on their little "sweetie." But when Chauncey called in his Packard car Peggy was ready to go out, and she did. Then the rivals discovered each other - and then the fun began. When Peggy's folks returned home they found their place looking like - well, you know. Peggy's return home was far from triumphant, but she was saved from a sound spanking by the return of the officer who had Peggy's reward for capturing the burglar.
- Edna will inherit her grandfather's fortune if she marries his choice of groom. But Edna has picked her own choice, and elopes with him. After some wild chases and riding, with a minister performing the wedding ceremony as they speed in their car, it finally develops that the groom is the young man mentioned in the grandfather's will.
- Little Jack is sent to the market by his mother to sell the old cow and while there turns it over to an unscrupulous person for a bag of beans. When Little Jack arrives home the mother, upon seeing what Jack has received for the old family cow, throws the beans into the back yard. The next morning a big tree, reaching into the skies, has grown where the beans were thrown. Little Jack climbs this tree and reaches the kingdom of the terrible giant. After a series of very dangerous adventures, Little Jack kills the giant.
- The heroine lavishes affection upon a dog whom she believes to be her reincarnated husband.
- Baby Peggy grinds an organ to help a poor blind man. Then a wealthy woman rescues Peggy. The lady gives a party and Peggy copies as much of the Egyptian dancer's scanty costume as she can. Her foster father is shocked and opines that Peggy is going to be too much trouble. But Peggy shows who is going to be boss, and all ends happily.
- Buster and his dog Tige go on a dangerous destructive joy ride in a toy fire truck. Later, they find themselves in danger on a high-rise construction site.
- The street sweeper gets himself in wrong with the town politician when his scrapings are blown into the face of the latter by the exhaust from a touring car as the politician is attempting a flirtation with a group of beauties returning from the polo game. The hero is hounded by the fat man until he rescues the daughter from a frightened horse. He is then welcomed into their home and when he exposes the butler and a yegg robbing the house safe he is rewarded by the politician who scatters papers over the place to give him further occupation.
- A lady and her husband are employed by a theatrical agent, when the lady falls heir to the estate of a circus owner. The estate proves to be a troupe of lions, who create considerable trouble from the moment they arrive in the house.
- Tomboy Mary is uninvited to a party given by her boyfriend's parents--but his sister has an idea. They gals conspire for Mary to disguise herself as a man to crash the party. Hijinks ensue.
- Buddy is the captain of a football team and at one point the team practices in Buddy's parlor much to the detriment of everything in it.
- Alice is the daughter of a fisherman. She gathers herring to support her family. Alice's folks are worshipers of the cuckoo clock. Even the dog bows his head in prayer when the cuckoo cuckoos. Joe, a sailor, loves Alice. He calls on her at midnight, and takes her to a cabaret. While there, a sea captain falls in love with Alice, and strange things come to pass when Alice sees the hula hula dancers. Joe takes Alice home under great difficulties Alice and Joe are happily married and are proprietors of a lunch room. Undaunted by his previously unsuccessful attempts the sea captain is still bent on possessing Alice, and lays his plans to kidnap her. Alice is kidnapped, and is placed on a sea going vessel. Just as Joe comes home. He pursues the yacht with his billowy sail boat. Just as he is about to catch the vessel he is lassoed and left mercilessly to drown. Instead, Joe pulls himself up on the rope and outs his way in through the boat. Meanwhile, Alice is having her troubles trying to keep the captain out of her stateroom. Joe rescues Alice, and there follows a lively boat chase with marines, patrol boats, etc. Alice and Joe manage to destroy the lighthouse in which the captain and his crew sought to shelter themselves. A novel ending follows.
- When the wealthy society woman has her beautiful pearls stolen she hurries to the newspaper office to have a notice of reward printed immediately. The editor offers to make the first reporter who brings in the details of the robbery and recovers the pearls, an editor, Baby Peggy, as the boss' stenographer, hears this and decides to be the one. She procures some male attire and a false mustache. Leaving the office, she sees two of the regulars just going off in a flivver. She jumps in the rear seat, unnoticed and by punching first one and then the other leads them to believe that the other is getting too fresh. They have words and finally get out to settle the matter, fistically. Our heroine seizes the opportunity and drives away in the car while the men are fighting. She arrives at the home of the society woman and questions the butler. His actions convince her that she is on the right track and after being thrown out several times she reenters in a new phonograph cabinet being delivered. While in the cabinet she gets the goods on the butler and rushes with her story and the pearls to the office where she is made editor and has them all jumping at her command.
- Weazel Tail Bend was so crooked it couldn't see straight. The sheriff and his deputy had the habits of Jesse James, and he also robbed the country by teaching school. The weekly train was the town's only sport. The engineer knew Weazel Bend- so he didn't even hesitated. They had a nice soft mattress on the station platform to catch the passengers that chanced that way. But one day the town was brightened considerably by the arrival of Miss Betsy Beautiful, whom the School Trustee sent to relieve the sheriff of one of his duties-teaching school. Her sweetheart Hiram Biff, had followed her, how ever, riding on his nerve and the engine rod. "Big Kick Kitchen," was the place where society mixed soft drinks with hard fists. Even the bad guy, Pineapple Pete, didn't look so hard, sipping a soft drink. However, looks are not everything. Pineapple decided to pay the bank an unofficial visit to draw out some cash he had never deposited, but he was interrupted by our friend the Sheriff, who demanded half of the loot. Everything was going lovely, when who should appear but Hiram. He rounded up the crooks in fine shape, grabbed the money with one hand, his girl with the other and they both grabbed the first train going the other way.
- The adventures of a group of children while running a miniature train.
- Magnolia Milkshake wants to help the war effort to compensate for her husband who is exempt for being overweight. She tries to join the Red Cross, then the rifle corps.
- Buddy's parents are poor, so he decides to go out and make the family fortune. He takes with him his friend Bubbles and they start out. They travel in a boxcar and when the baggage-man sees them there is a chase. From the boxcar they jump into a van and after they are chased by the van driver they jump on an automobile in which a moving picture star is driving to the studio. They get inside the studio and after the gateman finds out that the star doesn't know them, there is another chase and they are thrown out of the studio. They pose as dummies and are taken in the studio. They get into a lot of trouble as they interfere with the different directors on the sets. One of the directors is in need of a colored boy as the one he has been using can't do the work, so when he sees Bubbles he puts him to work and Bubbles does his part so well that they want to sign him up immediately. Buddy acts as his manager and at times gets temperamental as to letting Bubbles do certain things. Bubbles finally becomes a big star with Buddy as his manager and the family fortune is made.
- As the landlady's pet Lee leads a hectic life, because he does not like her cooking and will persist in making culinary messes in his room, which is against the rules. When the landlady accuses him of this, even the friendly offices of Rosie the monkey will not save him, and when you add to the list of his misdeeds that he is in love with the prettiest boarder, the plot unrolls itself.
- Edna, a winsome country lassie, leaves home to seek her fortune in the big city. Her plump sweetie takes her to the train, tying his horse to the rear coach. When he returns he finds his horse has been jerked out of the harness. Edna discovers the horse in town and mails it back to him. He gets a flivver and goes to town. She, meanwhile, gets a job in a jazzy cabaret. Her sweetie tries to enter in his countrified clothes and is bounced. He repeats the attempt and is repeatedly bounced. Suddenly he beholds his sweetie doing a feature dance. He makes for her. The proprietor chases him around the pool. Edna appears and refuses to leave with him, telling him that she is married to the proprietor.
- The city chap arrives in a flivver and makes love to the daughter of the proprietor. The rival plays a strong hand but is not quite strong enough to regain the girl. Little brother plays his part with tact and gets the regulation quarter for allowing the spooners to be alone. An elopement in moonlight provides a good finish.
- The love affairs of a fat garage proprietor who finally wins the tiny lady of his choice in a reckless automobile race.
- Zip Monberg, who is a live-wire messenger boy on roller skates, gets mixed up in a fashionable modiste shop where he has gone to deliver some parcels. Bull Slinger, whose wife runs the shop, likes the girls who are employed there, but gets in wrong when he tries to "vamp" Zip's sweetheart. Bull's wife, seeing the flirtation, starts a battle, during which Zip is kicked out by Bull and chased to a dentist's office. The dentist thinks Zip wants a tooth extracted and starts the work, giving Zip gas. Zip dreams of woodlands and beauteous girls, and as he is brought back to life by the extraction, sees in a haze Bull Slinger, surrounded by all the models. Frightened, he looks at Bull, then looks at the girls and smiles, whereupon he takes the gas tube and goes back to sleep.
- The girls are members of a traveling fashion show. Their manager has a problem keeping the boys away so he just hires them as helpers.

- Rosie is assistant to a doctor who sends her out to distribute banana peelings on the sidewalks so he will obtain more patients.
- On his way home from work, Harry stops off at the ball game and is mistaken for the new pitcher.
- Harry gets into a very tough neighborhood, without a dime, and finally gets a dollar away from one of the toughest birds in the street. Then he has an awful time keeping it away from the rest of the hard-boiled members of the district.
- After making all the mischief that she can, Baby Peggy runs away from home. All this because of jealousy. A new baby brother has made his appearance in her home and is taking away a good deal of attention from her. Out in the cruel world she is captured by a junk dealer and set to work. She manages to fill her wagon with junk by going into the yards at night and meowing like a cat. Windows are thrown open and all kinds of things are thrown at her. At the end she escapes and returns home.
- Chocolate Drop was out of work and when he sees a sign on one of the circus tents reading "'Lion Feeder" wanted - he applies. He is given the job, but when he sees the lions, and they playfully try to snap his hand off, chew his hat up, and a few other pranks, he hot foots it to the nearest river and in he goes. Jimmy, the Village Peeper, is caught flirting with the Queen of the circus, through the tent flaps. The watcher of the circus wallops him and sends him spinning. He lands in front of the manager of the circus. The manager asks him if he is looking for a job, to which he answers in the affirmative. He is given the job of a clown and all around helper. He waters the elephants, feeds the lions, imitates a rope walker and everything that's possible he is, and does. A little side show takes place when the peanut man gets in the way of the angry mob when the gates are opened. A three cornered jealousy springs up between the manager, the lion tamer and Jimmy. They all are madly in love with the Queen of the Circus. To get even with the lion tamer, Jimmy lets the lions out of their cages. Then the fun begins. The lions are starved and make one bee line for the audiences. Several of the lions go into the various tents, where the freaks are having their show. One [man]'s eyes go back on him when he sees the lions and refuse to turn back, they become crossed. His feet, however, are his friends, and they sure do make some speed in getting away from the lions. The lion tamer, Jimmy and the Queen try to wrap themselves up in one of the tents to escape the lions, but leave it to the Hons to get into anything. We see the lion emerge from the tent with all kinds of clothing draped around hint, and when all is quiet, the lion having gone further looking for trouble, we see the three "chicken " hearts come up out of the ground.
- Harry seeks a position in the big city and conflict arrives when he arouses the enmity of a burly giant after the same job. Of course, Harry outwits the brute, but doesn't escape his wrath. Harry falls in love with the owner's daughter and wins her after an encounter or three with his enemy. Father-in-law puts the final touches to Harry's success by adding a "son" to the sign in front of the factory.
