Property developer Peter Marshall is enjoying sex with Sian and flatmate Emyr seems to approve too but Peter is more concerned with family problems. He spots his sister's husband Danny kissing the young Kylie. Peter warns Danny off with a punch. Kate is not happy with her brother interfering in her life and returns the punch in front of all of Peter's cool friends in The Canteen.
- Emyr has a visit from the police at his business Collectable Records. Their warning that a protection racket is operating in the area does not concern him. But he is very impressed by the handsome Detective Gareth Pritchard Peter and Kate renew their squabbling and Kate tells Peter she wants to sell the family house. Peter is appalled but Kate gets Sion her other brother who is in prison on side. Professor Powell invites Elen to a conference in Dublin. Fellow student Johnston can't make the conference and Powell and Elen end up dining alone. Emyr is mugged in a gay bar and is rescued by the police officers that visited him. But they then arrest him for possession of two grams of cocaine.
- Davey Eddy's funeral - Lyn discovers a black feather which is a warning from the Brawdoli'eth who are not happy about the death of Davy Eddy. Lyn has to confront Brawdoli'eth. Ieuan does a drugs run from Ireland. He kills popular singer Peter Perry and sinks his boat. Kirsti meets Lyn at the funeral, she experiences a hard time at work and takes cocaine in a school toilet. Ffyon arrives from Ireland and is shown off by Llio. Lyn offers him a job.
- Rhidian gets permission from Y Llywydd to kill his friend Davey following a tip off that Davy is about to betray Rhidian's son Lyn. Rhidian suffers a stroke before he can perform the deed. Lyn is planning to abandon his business to join his fiancée in Spain. His father's stroke and the revelation of Davy's betrayal lead him to change his mind. Y Llywydd agrees to Davy's execution but only if Lyn performs the deed. Steve, Lyn's number two, Bryn and Ieuan have been looking after business since Lyn's breakdown. The boys are unhappy about Lyn leaving especially as they are having trouble getting money out of one of their dealers, Ian Blake.
- Steve and the boys think Lyn is not ready for his first hit. Their plans to carry out the execution on his behalf are compromised by the surprise appearance of Davy's wife. Lyn's sister returns from Ireland and announces her engagement and her intent to leave Wales for ever with her daughter Chloe. Lyn refuses to let her go. Kirsti O'Shea arrives at The Carmarthen Recorder to start her traineeship. She meets Y Llywydd. Lyn kills his god-father Davy Eddy
- Kirsti and Lyn arrange a date, Bryn and Steve are concerned about Lyn dating an outsider. Steve sets up a big drugs sale through his contact Prins William and the buyers turn out to be Yardies, Lyn kills them. Chief Bryan Jones is concerned about SOCA's investigation into his police force, while his golfing pro daughter Sioned is pregnant and he may be suspended from his job. Billy the Pimp is determined that the whores come back to work for him. He kidnaps Julie and steals the brothel's takings. Ffion takes his revenge and beats Billy.
- Bryn, Steve and Ieuan cut drugs for local music festival The Lost Weekend. Lyn is informed that SOCA are at The Lost Weekend and tries to stop the drugs from arriving. The mechanic at Lyn's garage, 'Grease Monkey', accidentally gives Kirsti an Audi TT with drugs in the boot destined for The Lost Weekend. When Kirsti discovers drugs in the boot, she finds she has a scoop that leads to Lyn being arrested. Chief Constable Bryan Jones wants Lyn to move against the Yardies, while Ffion and Llio look for a new place to live.
