- In this series we intend to explore New York's multiculturalism facets hidden in its diverse neighborhoods. We'll walk the streets of this lesser known areas of the city with our host and talk with people about their life in the new world. We will connect their life and hopes with the traditions and culture of their country of emigration explaining their cultural background using the existing footage and information.
- "Burma: Golden Land" - A mesmerizing 25 minutes travel over the entire land of the golden spires, Burma, taking the viewer to the temples of Bagan, the minorities of Inle Lake in the Shan States, to Mandalay and its surrounding imperial cities, the hanging rock of Kyaktiko and the spellbinding Shwedagon Paya in Rangoon, Yangon.
- "Maghreb" takes the viewer to a tour of Morocco. It is edited in 5 independent parts 5 separate as following: "Imperial Cities" (49 min) brings the viewer to the imperial cities of Morocco, Rabat, and Meknes. We visit the ruined palaces of Meknes, with its impressive Bab El Mansoor gate, the souk, and the mosques. We go further to visit Volubilis, a Roman colony and the holy white city of Moulay Idriss, the place where the deified founder of the first Moroccan dynasty was born. "Back in Middle Ages" (28 min) presents a visit to the city of Fes. We visit the impressive madrasas of the city, major learning institutions, the beautiful squares decorated with impressive fountains, stumbling upon the famous Fes tanneries where the work is performed exactly like hundreds of years ago. "Across Atlas Mountains" (53 min) brings you across the Atlas Mountains and we visit the city of Sefrou, Bhalil, Ifrane, and Azrou. Further, we go to Erg Chebbi in Sahara, visit Rissani, Todra, and Dades Gorge, Ouarzazate, Vale de Draa, all the way to the garrison town of Zagora, where a famous sign shows only 52 days by camel to Timbouctou. "Marrakech" (43 min) brings you to the famous city of Africa. In Medina and Mellah life continues as it happened hundreds of years ago and the activities in Djama El Fnaa are incessant. This square is what makes the city unique, with its multitude of food stalls, jugglers, magicians, fortune tellers, snake charmers, monkey tamers, dancers, musicians, storytellers. "Mogador" (49 min) begins in Essaouira, a city on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean. A major Portuguese colony, Mogador, was an important trade center for the area being used for manufacturing purple dyes in its surrounding islands. From there we drive up the coast to Casablanca, the cosmopolitan city of Morocco, where we visit the magnificent Hassan II Mosque.
- "Land of the Maharajas" is a 3-hour presentation of the culture and traditions of Rajasthan, India that is separated in 4 independent episodes as follows: "Merchants and Maharajas" takes the viewer into the northern parts of Rajasthan. After a quick day tour in New Delhi, we visited the magnificently painted Havelis of Shekhawati, in Jhunjhunu, Mandawa and Fatehpur. From there we visit the impressive fort Bikaner and the city's Jain temples ending the tour with music and dance in a village outside of Jaisalmer. "Land of Death" takes the viewer to Jaisalmer where we visit the fort, the palace and the cenotaphs of the maharajas. We continue to Jodhpur fort, the siege of the old Marwar territory, nicknamed "The Land of Death" ending up at Ranakpur where is located a jewel of a Jain temple, maybe the most beautiful in the entire world. "Sadhus and Many Camels" brings you first to the famous white palaces of Udaipur and continuing to the citadel city of Chittorgarh, three times the stage "jauhars" against the Mughals invaders. We ended the tour in a magnificent place, the holy city of Pushkar, an amalgam of holy and unholy people, during its famous camel fair. "The Mughals" opens in the pink Jaipur, a city of palaces, forts, markets and an astronomical observatory. Close by is the deserted city of Fatehpur Sikri, inhabited for only 15 years. We ended up in Agra, capital of the Mughal Empire, where we visit the world-renowned Taj Mahal and its nearby tomb of Akbar in Sikandra.
- "Vesuvio's shadow" is a 75 minutes tour through Southern Italy. The video was edited in two independent parts: "Ash and Pumice" (43 min) bring us to Matera, a city dug in the porous stone of a hill. We continue from Salerno to Napoli where we visit the world-famous Archeological Museum and to the ruins of Paestum and Pompei, the city located at the base of Vesuvio, completely covered in ash and pumice in 79BC by the heinous eruption of the volcano. "Roman Ruins and a Swedish Doctor" (30 min) takes the viewer to Capri, where we visit in Anacapri the famous San Michele Villa. After a New Year celebration spent in the main square of Sorrento, the next day we drive on Costiera Amalfitana, stopping in Meta and Messa Lubrense and visiting the famous towns of Positano, Amalfi, and Ravello.
- "Andes: Peru" is a tour throughout Peru. It includes 5 independent as following: "Matte de Coca" (31 min) brings the viewer to Cusco, the old capital of the Inca empire, Tahuatinsuyo where we visit the colonial churches, its charming squares, and the temple Coricancha. Further, we climb on top of one of the surrounding hills and we visit the old citadel of Sacsayhuaman and continue in two other sites around the city, Puca Pucara, and Tambo Machai. "Urubamba" (25 min) brings the viewer to the sacred valley of the Inca, Urubamba, that we follow to Pisac, where we mingle with locals at the Sunday market. We continue the visit to the steep terraces of Ollantaytambo and Chincero, another picturesque market. "Machu Picchu" (46 min) brings the viewer in this fabled Inca city located deep into the jungle. We start a 2-day hike in the middle of the Inca trail and ascend first to Huyna Huayna and Intipata continuing the next day at dawn to explore Machu Picchu. We finish with a hike up to Huayna Picchu from where we can have a splendid view over the entire city. "Floating on Titicaca" (28 min) brings the viewer to Lake Titicaca, the highest elevated navigable lake in the world where we visit totora-made Uros Islands and Taquile Island that preserves remarkable customs in dress and traditions. From there we go to visit the pre-Inca ruins of Silustani, the old necropolis of Tiahuanaco that has unique cylindrical funerary tombs. "Conquistadors" (31 min) brings the viewer to Arequipa where we visit its white cathedral and the famous Convento de Santa Catalina. Further, we go to Lima, Peru's capital, where we visit the cathedral, housing the tomb of Francisco Pizzaro, the adventurer that changed the history of the Inca Empire and entire South America.
- Lhasa is the religious heart of Tibet and in its center is the most important temple from the entire country, Jokhang Temple. Around it, is the famous Barkhor where pilgrims come to do circumambulations around the temple to cleanse their karma. Leaving the border with Nepal we drove over 5000 meter mountain passes to Shigatse. Its famous Tashilhunpo monastery is the seat of the Panchen Lama, the second most important religious leader of Tibet. His influence plays a critical role even today that may influence the spiritual future of the country. Gyantse is known as the last Tibetan town because the Han colonization somehow skirted the city. It used to be the third-largest town in the country and its famous Kumbum are proofs of this glorious past. Kumbum, means "100000 images" and its numerous chapels are packed with painted and sculpted deities.
- "The Dragon" is a presentation of cross-section travel through China. It is divided into 6 independent episodes as follows: "Peaks in Li River" (30 min) brings the viewer to Guangzhou visiting its markets and the secluded Shamian Island. We continue to the karstic peaks coming out of Li River in Yangshuo, in a typical landscape of the Chinese classical paintings watching fishing with cormorants. We continue our visit to Kunming and to the Stone Forest in Shilin. "Close-up to Shangri-La" (36 min) brings the viewer in the heart of one of the most exotic parts of China: Yunnan Province. We visit Dali, the picturesque Erhai Lake, and Lijiang, the center of the matriarchal Naxi minority that is also the preservers of the shamanistic Dongba tradition, a place that is being promoted by the Chinese as the location of the mythical Shangri-La. "Buddha's Touch" (56 min) brings the viewer to the holy Buddhist mountain of Emei, Emeishan, with its slopes ridden with monasteries, temples, and shrines. Nearby is Leshan, the city that has the largest Buddha statue in the world, a seated Buddha of 71 meters. We finish our Buddhist tour in Chengdu with its picturesque teahouses that abound all around the city's parks. "Carvings and Terracotta" (38 min) brings the viewer to the world-known army of terracotta warriors entombed near Xian. From there we move latter to Luoyang, another old capital of China located on the porous shores of Yi River where we visit the Longmen caves. We end up our tour at the beautiful Shaolin Monastery, home of the world-renowned Shaolin monks. "A Stroll in Beijing" (37 min) brings to the viewer some of the main cultural attractions of Beijing, China's capital. We visit Tiantan Park, the Forbidden City, the Lama Temple, and the Confucius Temple. "The Great Wall" (40 min) continues the tour in Beijing with a visit to Tiananmen Square and we take a bike tour on the narrow hutongs. We visit the latter the Summer Palace finishing the day watching an opera representation in the National Opera Theater. The next day we end up our tour in China with a hike on top of the famous Great Wall in Simatai.
- "Mezzogiorno - Sicily" (120 min) is an exploration throughout Sicily. It is edited as three independent videos. "Living with Etna" (40 min) opens up in Catania, the second-largest city in Sicily. After a stroll on Mt. Etna, the everlasting menace for the cities on the eastern coast of Sicily, we visit Siracusa and we end up our visit in Noto, a city that represents the best example of the Sicilian baroque reconstructed after a devastating eruption of Mt. Etna in the 17th century. "Greeks, Romans and a Carthage General" (37 min) starts in Casale, where are located the best-preserved mosaics in Sicily. We go on the southern coastal city of Agrigento and visit the famous "Valle dei Templi" and continue to the ruins of Selinunte and to the medieval town of Erice ending up at Segesta temple, a rival of Selinunte. "Palermo, Palermo..." (51 min) takes a stroll in Palermo, the largest city in Sicily, where we visit Capela Palatina, its elegant squares and the crypts full of mummified corpses of the Capuchin Catacombs. Close to Palermo are two famous churches covered in Byzantine mosaics, the cathedral of Monreale and Cefalu. We cross through San Stefano de Camastra ending our tour in beautiful Taormina.
- "Sakura Petals" is an exploration of the rich traditions of Japan. It was edited in 5 independent videos. "The Shoguns" (41 min) brings the viewer to Nikko, the most famous shrine in the country, the burial place of the founder of the Tokugawa shogunate clan. We stop in Kamakura, the birthplace of the first shogun family in Japan, a city full of Zen Buddhist temples. We also visit Tokyo, with its beautiful museum, parks, and temples. "The Samurai" (40 min) starts in Kurashiki, one of the few cities in Japan that was not bombed during WW2, Okayama, with its Crow Castle and the beautiful garden and Nagasaki with its Memorial Park. We continue to Hagi that has the best-preserved samurai quarter ending up in the holy island of Miya Jima watching in the night the tide covering its floating Tori. "Temples and Zen" (48 min) brings the viewer to Kyoto, the capital of Japan for 1000 years, with dry or moss Zen temple gardens, bamboo groves and secluded pavilions. We visit the Kyoto museum, the best museum for Japanese art. We end the day in Gion district where we watch a representation of traditional Zen arts. "Emperors and Geishas" (31 min) continues the visit to Kyoto with the Imperial Palace and a geisha spotting session in the Geisha quarter in Gion. We visit Nara, the first-ever settled capital of Japan for only 75 years, full of roaming deer and its remarkable temples, pagodas, and shrines where is located the largest Buddha statue in Japan. "The Monks" (30 min) starts Kanazawa, that has also a famous garden in Japan and a temple dedicated to Ninja warriors and Takayama, a place that preserve the tradition of Japanese carpentry ending up in the eerie city of Koya San, the world headquarters of the esoteric Buddhist sect, Shingon, a city full of temples and a famous cemetery for the history of Japan.
- "Kailash" is a video about a pilgrimage to the holiest mountain for Tibetan Buddhists, Shiva followers, Jain and Bon religions, located in Western Tibet. Constantly surrounded by pilgrims turning their sutra wheels in their hands and by yaks loaded with gear and food, we sleep in high altitude monasteries, eventually reaching a prayer flag covered pass, Drolma La, at 5630 meters. "Manasarovar to Everest" is a video about a pilgrimage to Lake Manasarovar, the holiest lake in Western Tibet. From the lake, we drove to Ronghbu Monastery, the highest monastery in the world from where we start a hike to Camp 1 in the Everest and returning towards Lhasa through a high pass from where we can see a cross-section of the entire Himalayan range.
- "The Road to Chiang Mai" is travel video series through Thailand. It consists of three parts that are edited as independent videos: "Bangkok, Oriental city" (48 min) introduces the viewer to the impressive Buddhist temples of Thailand's capital, starting an incursion in Buddhism and its history in that part of the world. "Tranquil Buddhas" (30 min) continues the travel towards the northern parts of the country through the ruined Ayuthaya, once famous capital of Thailand, through the tranquil Buddha statues of Sukhotai, another capital, and the ruins of Si Satchalanai and Thalang. "Hill Tribes, Poppy Culture, and Ancient Khmers" (47 min) We travel into the forbidden land of the once drug-ridden Golden Triangle around Chiang Rai and Mekong River where we visit hill tribes, returning through Lampang with a short stop at the Burmese border town of Thatchlik continuing towards the eastern part of Thailand, once a part of the Khmer kingdom, where we visit two main temples, Phimai and Phanom Rung.
- "Angkor Wat"; 28 minutes; © 2020; In the Cambodian jungle laid hidden for centuries the remarkable temple of Angkor Wat. A spectacular architectural jewel of magnificent proportions where symmetry was embedded in stone. The temple represents a symbol of a powerful empire that ruled for 8 centuries in South East Asia.
- "Gems of the Jungle"; 28 minutes; © 2020; The Cambodian jungle is peppered with temples, and old monasteries accessed by causeways guarded by snakes saddled by gods and demons, a plethora of deities at the crossroad between two religions, Hinduism and Buddhism, enticing the visitors to an adventurous exploration.
- "Seven Headed Serpent"; 37 minutes; © 2020; The Water Festival in Phnom Penh is a major celebration in Cambodia inviting for a pleasant stroll through this great city whose history was not so gentle. The scars of the Khmer Rouge aberrant ruling are still present encased in the mass graves of the Killing Fields.
- Golden Land-Spires of Bagan; (50 min); © 2019 On the shores of the Irrawaddy river it thrived one of the most important religious places of southeast Asia. Bagan is home to the largest and densest concentration of Buddhist temples, pagodas, stupas, and ruins in the world with many of them dating from the 11th and the 12th centuries.
- "Shan Tribes"; 25 minutes; © 2019 The Pa-O are dressed in black and with a checkered orange turban caring a hand-made red bag. The Palaung wear a colorful head covering, a short blouse and a tubular dress. The Padaung women wear rings made out of brass placed around their necks, appearing to lengthen it.
- "Inle Magic Mirror"; 25 minutes; © 2019 The 22 km long by 10 km wide Inle lake is in the middle of a valley surrounded by two mountain ranges. On its shores, it has villages with houses on stilts inhabited by a tribe named Intha that lives mainly in the lake area. Intha's fishermen steer their boats by wrapping one leg around their oar.
- "Ancient Capitals"; 25 minutes; © 2019 Mandalay - Somehow I dreamed one day to go to Mandalay, wherever that would be. Maybe it was like the Shangri-La, an aspiration never to be reached. The name 'Mandalay', mentioned in the famous poem of Rudyard Kipling, is perhaps the most evocative of any destination in Myanmar. However, Kipling never stepped into the city.
- "Golden Rock"; 20 minutes; © 2019 Around pilgrimage places you are always immersed in the devotion of the believers, people plunged in their rituals performed in the presence of the divinity. Kyaiktiyo is such a place. It is considered the third most important pilgrimage place in Myanmar but is the only one that requires a journey that you cannot avoid.
- "Shwedagon"; 40 minutes; © 2019 The magnificent and magic Shwedagon Pagoda is the most important pilgrimage place in Myanmar that has entombed at its base a casket with 8 hairs donated by Lord Buddha obtained right after He reached His enlightenment. It dates somewhere around 2600 years ago that would make it one of the oldest Buddhist stupa in the entire world.

- The most famous monasteries in Lhasa are Drepung, that used to be the seat of the Dalai Lama till the building of the Potala, and Sera Me, where religious debates take place every day. Close by is Nechung monastery that used to house the Tibet oracle who was predicting every beginning of the year the fate of the nation.
- Potala palace started to be built in the 17 century and became the seat of the Tibetan government till 1959 when Lhasa was occupied during a revolt that drove Dalai Lama to leave the country. Norbulingka is the summer palace, a complex of gardens and palaces, that used to house the Tibetan government during the summer months.
- Ganden monastery is the seat of the Gelugpa, the Yellow-Hat school of Tibetan Buddhism, the main player in the current development of the religion in Tibet. Sakia used to be all-powerful during the Mongolian Yuan dynasty, its abbots being able to spread Tibetan Buddhism at the court of Kublai Khan eventually converting the Mongols.
- Just a walk on the outskirts of Lhasa is Pabonka, a reclusive hermitage where the first alphabet of the country was crafted. Lhasa's Tibetan quarter is full of monasteries, temples, and nunneries and a walk through its side streets and alleys is probably one of the most charming experiences in Lhasa.

- "Immortal City"; 28 minutes; © 2020; Yashodarapura. the immortal Khmer majestic capital was built following the defeat suffered in front of the Chams. In its middle rises the Bayon, probably the most mysterious temple hidden in the Cambodian jungle, with its 54 faces decorate towers symbolizing the king's omniscience.
- "Athens" We start our visit to Athens' Acropolis where the Parthenon represents the symbol of the magnificent Greek civilization and we continue to the Erechteion and a tour in Plaka, the old Turkish quarter, at the base of the hill and to the city center. Our tour ends with a sunset visit at the Temple of Poseidon situated on the picturesque Cape Sounion.
- "Chios and Inousses" In Chios, we visit Volissos with its Venetian Fort and continue to Anavatos, with its tragic history and to the beautiful church of Nea Moni. After a night spent in the island of Inousses, we continue to the southern part of Chios to Mesta and to Pyrgi, a major center for mastic production.
- "Samos and Patmos" In Samos, we visit the Hereion, an extensive temple dedicated to Herra and the large jetty on which stands a monument dedicated to the famous mathematicians Pythagoras. Hoping in a hydrofoil we move to Patmos, an island that was the exile place of St. John the Evangelist ordered by the Roman Emperor Domitian.
