One of the Maria's nearby tries to steal it but ends up, accidentally, to broke it. During the evening, Maria is visited by Lucio, his grandson, who decides to come live with her. The next day an old but well-heeled tourist, passing through the village , begins to flirt Maria, inviting her to marry and go to live in the City of Lisbon. When least expected, the chicken is back to lay an egg, this time green, and everything rushes to an end ... dramatic.

O seu trabalho mais importante é o edifício sede da Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian, que projetou em parceria com os arquitetos Pedro Cid e Alberto Pessoa.
