- A web series show aimed at hobby fans of plastic and resin model building. Brought to you in a talk show/documentary fashion. Featuring both Garage and Factory made model kits. Often featuring the latest models that are out for sale. Many of the artists and sculptors of modeling are featured, showing their work and explaining how they got into the hobby. Conventions like Wonderfest, in Louisville, Kentucky, are featured and talked about often, as well as other model related conventions. Tips on building and painting are discussed. Sometimes older model kits are the subject of the show. The program had no "set time". Shows were usually under five minutes long but could be as long as a half hour. There was no "set schedule". Though for a long while it was on regularly, once a week with a new broadcast. They didn't broadcast on any certain day or time. Originally Chris Gierke and Robert Mattison created a TV show titled Model Citizen (1994). This show evolved into "Monster Model Review". Created and Hosted by Robert Mattison and Chris Gierke. This show started as a web series. Word got around about this web series through other model related websites, model magazines, and model conventions. It became more well known with the release of several volumes of episodes on DVD. Produced by PugKnows Productions. These DVD releases were a collection of past web episodes of Monster Model Review. MMR was also involved with selling a short series of resin model kits called "...What If?" These were models based on B-movies of the science fiction monsters of the 50's - 60's. Monster Model Review, to this day, still remains popular among the model hobbyists.
