- Africa is a land sculpted by time where animals have evolved complex weapons to arm them in the battle to live another day. An elephant's tusks can defend, or attack. An octopus uses camouflage to find food, or hide from an enemy. A Cape Fur Seal's speed and agility are valuable tools to catch a penguin, but ineffectual against a Great White Shark. A single hippopotamus holds a pride of twelve lions at bay with his sheer bulk, but backs down when faced with the piercing teeth of another hippo. With lethal weapons wielded by fearsome predators and prey, animals walk a precarious path, here among Africa's Deadliest.
- The Cheetah: the fastest land animal on the earth and a feared predator. Every fiber of its body is designed to win the race for survival. But before the cubs can dominate the African Savannah, a mother cheetah must transform her offspring from adorable kittens into bold, powerful hunters. We follow the destinies of a young cheetah mother and her first cubs, as she struggles to teach her offspring how to survive in one of the most cutthroat environments on the planet. An epic true story set against the backdrop of one of the wildest places of our planet. High-speed cameras capture the real-life of the sprinters of the African Savannah, and reveals every stunning detail of one of the most important lessons: how to hunt for prey. Although they will one day be feared, the cubs are under constant threat from surrounding lions, leopards and hyenas.
- The vast wetlands of Africa are a refuge and lifeline to many animals, but these swamps hide dark and dangerous secrets.
- The extraordinary oceans of Africa are home to some of the planet's most diverse and vibrantly populated marine environments.

- Dr. Oakley pays a visit to the angriest muskox in the Yukon for a check-up, but he isn't surrendering without a fight. After an exhausting week, Dr. Oakley and the family head off for daughter Sierra's first caribou hunt, a Yukon rite of passage.
- Michelle makes a house call to a blind farmer whose goat hasn't been able to breed. When Michelle tries to find and relocate a herd of wild horses who have been roaming too close to the Alaskan Highway, the horses move dangerously close to a cliff.
- It's mating season and Dr. Oakley is busier than ever with a cow who can't seem to get pregnant and a tricky case of a young caribou bull with growths on his nose. This small infection could spread to the rest of the herd if it's not treated soon.
- At the Discovery Park in Alberta, Sierra gets to see how her mom manages physical exams on big cats like jaguars and cheetahs. At the Calgary Zoo, Michelle and Sierra tend to baby meerkats. Before heading home, they tag wild sheep in the mountains.
- In the days leading up to a memorial race, Dr. Oakley has to clear her caseload and get ready to pitch in on race day. She meets the team of one veteran musher whose dogs will soon be pulling a sled, and later checks out a former champion sled dog with some grave-looking tumors. On race day, Michelle has her hands full. From a dog with a swollen paw to a dehydrated pup with a racing heart rate, she has several cases that test her skills.
- Dr. Oakley is called to Quebec to help a team of scientists battling to save a unique caribou herd from being wiped out. To reach their goal, the team needs to capture four pregnant caribou and transport them via helicopter to a large pen where they will stay until their foals are born and old enough to defend themselves. Back in the home clinic, Dr. Oakley reunites with a Lab named Rose for a checkup and what she finds worries her.
- Dr. Oakley races to save the lives of pets attacked by vicious Yukon predators. She faces a wolverine at the Kroschel Wildlife Park, and wraps up the aftermath of a coyote attack that left a family dog with a bloody tail. Then, tragedy strikes the Oakley's own backyard when another coyote attack puts Willow's goat in critical condition.

Later, she has to act fast when Ringo the donkey starts to wake up in the middle of his castration surgery.
- At Bird TLC in Alaska, Michelle examines bald eagles that were injured in a wildfire and examines a gull that was shot by a human. Back in Haines, AK, she gets an emergency call about a moose that seems to be wasting away, and there's no clue as to what's ailing her. Michelle then works side-by-side with fellow Yukon vet Candace Stuart on a pair of mini-horses that are learning to live peacefully with their new owner.
