After a long time I have enjoyed watching Amitabh Bachchan, and Hema Malini's performance was so subtle and yet she gave a powerful performance. There is one scene in particular, where she tells Amitabh to have his medicine (right before they get separated) and one moment she has her eyes shut and the next moment her eyes are filled with tears.

This movie is lots of fun. It has EVERYthing in it - car chases, dance numbers, action, crime, revenge - like many Bollywood films - there's something for everyone.

Amitabh excels in both roles as always, He brings a distinct characteristic to both the roles.

This plot is ridiculous, and really makes no sense. It's full of cliched situations, hackneyed lines, melodrama, comedy but only Amitabh could pull this one off.

The best man in the film was Amitabh B. but other performers were surely upto Bachchan's calibre. Ajay D. in a negative role was smashing.

This movie is simply unmissable Bollywood. Watch it, and I guarantee you'll be hearing 'O Saathi Re' in your head for a few days afterwards.

Amitabh comes across as just another guy, dwarfed by the system yet refusing to give in to it. He carries on from where he left off with 'Khakee'

A Good Sequel

It is simple to be happy but so difficult to be simple...

A boy, abandoned at birth, sent to be raised by a drunken bum. He grows to be a man who cares for others, while trying to find out his meaning in life.

The tea-stall confrontation between Bachchan and Sinha is probably the most explosive encounter between two heroes ever in Indian cinema; and Bachchan comes out with a subdued, yet strong performance.

Amitabh was becoming the Superstar of Bollywood. Dilip Kumar was the ex King of Bollywood.

Amitabh and Sanjeev Kumar were excellent but I felt they were even better in Sholay together.

Amitabh always outperforms in angry, emotionally charged and frantically suspenseful roles. While portraying anguished roles in tough situations ridden with crises and brazen suspense, Amitabh is second to none.

Amitabh is calm and composed. The role doesn't challenge him much, but he plays it with conviction.

The acting by Amitabh in his dual role is superb...OUTSTANDING.
