Mrs. Bixby witnesses their performance and is impressed enough to hire "Senorita Cucaracha" (Curly) and Senors "Mucho" and "Gusto" (Moe and Larry) for her radio program. The boys show up in their disguises to "sing" at Mrs. Bixby's evening party but run into trouble when Moe smashes the record over Curly's head. The real singer tries to help by singing from behind a curtain while Curly mimics, but she is discovered and the stooges exit to a hail of phonograph records.

After taking over production of a movie, causing the director and cast to walk off, Moe takes over as director, with Larry and Curley as the leading man and lady. When the real executives send a telegram explaining why they haven't arrived, the Stooges must leave on the run.

The boys miss out on the reward but wind up with the crook's bankroll and can pay their creditors.
