I know some people are going to hate me for this, but these movies just entertained me so little or just struck such a negative chord in me that I just won't like them.

- DirectorJohn WooStarsTom CruiseDougray ScottThandiwe NewtonIMF agent Ethan Hunt is sent to Sydney to find and destroy a genetically modified disease called "Chimera".Come on. Doves for no reason? Meaningless dialogue with little to no payoff? This movie seems like it was made my a seven year old.
- DirectorOliver StoneStarsCharlie SheenMichael DouglasTamara TunieAn impatient young stockbroker is willing to do anything to get to the top, including trading on illegal inside information taken through a ruthless, greedy corporate raider who takes the youth under his wing.Yeah yeah. People aren't going to agree with me. But this is such a droning bore of a movie that I was fighting not to fall asleep, just to see if there was any payoff. And I was not rewarded.
- DirectorSteven SpielbergStarsRichard DreyfussFrançois TruffautTeri GarrRoy Neary, an Indiana electric lineman, finds his quiet and ordinary daily life turned upside down after a close encounter with a UFO, spurring him to an obsessed cross-country quest for answers as a momentous event approaches.Never have I been so disappointed by a movie. Not that it was terrible, but I had expected so much, and it gave me a "movie" that was way too long, way too slow, and way too sleep-enducing to be a good movie in my eyes. Maybe I'm just not into creepy aliens not being creepy but flashing lights everywhere. I don't know. But it just made me roll my eyes so often that I can't like this movie. It even almost put me off Richard Dreyfuss, whom I saw in Georgetown the other day.
- DirectorJohn Lee HancockStarsQuinton AaronSandra BullockTim McGrawThe story of Michael Oher, a homeless and traumatized boy who became an All-American football player and first-round NFL draft pick with the help of a caring woman and her family. They make a movie about a black guy being given a voice and a choice by a rich white woman...and then they focus the entire movie on the trials of the white woman. Sorry, but the black guy needs some screentime, AND SOME LINES too. Yeah, it was touching. But told from the wrong perspective.
- DirectorMarc ForsterStarsDaniel CraigOlga KurylenkoMathieu AmalricJames Bond descends into mystery as he tries to stop a mysterious organisation from eliminating a country's most valuable resource.Terrible Bond movie. Daniel Craig's Bond has potential to be amazing, but as a different character. Casino Royale was a very good movie, yes, and he did a good job of portraying Ian Fleming's original Bond, from the Casino Royale book. But that doesn't fit in at all with the Bond created by ALL the other actors. Less gritty, more refined, but still lethal. Except Roger Moore. He was playing it ALL for laughs. Anyway, Quantum was confusing and strange. I hope they change things up for Bond 23.
- DirectorD.J. CarusoStarsAlex PettyferTimothy OlyphantDianna AgronAliens and their Guardians are hiding on Earth from intergalactic bounty hunters. They can only be killed in numerical order, and Number Four is next on the list. This is his story.Well, this didn't HAVE to be good, persay, but I just included it so I could say the following: it was abominable. Terrible. It was originally a book, and I don't know how the book is, I haven't read it, but I hope beyond hope it was better than this movie.
- DirectorChris ColumbusStarsLogan LermanKevin McKiddSteve CooganA teenager discovers he's the descendant of a Greek god and sets out on an adventure to settle an on-going battle between the gods.Ehh, it was good in parts. They made Grover too black. Not that there's anything wrong with being black, I would know, but they made him stereotypically black. In a bad way. That put me off the entire movie therefore.
- DirectorSergio LeoneStarsClint EastwoodEli WallachLee Van CleefA bounty hunting scam joins two men in an uneasy alliance against a third in a race to find a fortune in gold buried in a remote cemetery.
- DirectorSteven SoderberghStarsGina CaranoEwan McGregorMichael FassbenderA black ops super soldier seeks payback after she is betrayed and set up during a mission.
- DirectorSteven SpielbergStarsHarrison FordKate CapshawKe Huy QuanIn 1935, Indiana Jones is tasked by Indian villagers with reclaiming a rock stolen from them by a secret cult beneath the catacombs of an ancient palace.God what an awful follow up to a brilliant film.
- DirectorEran CreevyStarsJames McAvoyMark StrongAndrea RiseboroughWhen a notorious criminal is forced to return to London, it gives a detective one last chance to take down the man he's always been after.
- DirectorMark AndrewsBrenda ChapmanSteve PurcellStarsKelly MacdonaldBilly ConnollyEmma ThompsonDetermined to make her own path in life, Princess Merida defies a custom that brings chaos to her kingdom. Granted one wish, Merida must rely on her bravery and her archery skills to undo a beastly curse.Just awful.
- DirectorRobert BressonStarsAnne WiazemskyWalter GreenFrançois LafargeThe story of a mistreated donkey and the people around him. A study on saintliness and a sister piece to Bresson's Mouchette. One of the worst films I have ever seen. I love French films, I love French art house, I even love films that are pretentious as hell. But this was abominable.
- DirectorTod BrowningStarsWallace FordLeila HyamsOlga BaclanovaA circus' beautiful trapeze artist agrees to marry the leader of side-show performers, but his deformed friends discover she is only marrying him for his inheritance.Terrible in so many ways. Mainly its despicable ending and treatment of the characters it set out to keep from such exploitative treatment!
- DirectorMartin ScorseseStarsLeonardo DiCaprioCameron DiazDaniel Day-LewisIn 1862, Amsterdam Vallon returns to the Five Points area of New York City seeking revenge against Bill the Butcher, his father's killer. What a terrible terrible movie. A situation made all the more unfortunate by how highly it's praised, if only for its pedigree, but not for its substance or production, for there are so many glaring faults with this drivel that I am dumbfounded by how good it is considered.
