Dying after being crowned Miss Texas Rose, Anabelle comes alive just before Elvis embalms her. He does his ailing dad's work. Anabelle later returns to the embalmer's farm to get away from her mom and be happy.
A magnificent look into real life and what happens when death hits close to home. Despite a creepy feeling start, this wonderful movie leads you into a fabulous story of love, loss, and wonder.
Even better, the actors, none of whom (at least at the top of the list) are Texas natives, actually GET the Texan accent correct. Too rare, in my Texan opinion.
I cannot recommend this movie enough. It should be a must see on every movie lover's list.
