- StarsMaurice LaMarcheDave CoulierFrank WelkerThe continuing adventures of the staff of the ghost removal service. This seriously was the most awesome show EVER!! Based on the 1984 film Ghostbusters, the series ran from 1986 to 1991(probably one of the longest running Saturday morning cartoons on TV). The series follows the continuing adventures of The Ghostbusters, secretary Janine, accountant Louis, and their mascot Slimer, as they chase and capture rogue spirits around New York and various other areas of the world. BEST. SHOW. EVERRRRR!!!! :D
- CreatorJim HensonJeffrey ScottStarsGreg BergKatie LeighLaurie O'BrienThe Muppets, as babies, have adventures with their imaginations inside their nursery. This is right up there with "The Real Ghostbusters" as one of the greatest cartoons ever!! Another show that had a very long duration on TV, it portrays childhood versions of the Muppets living together in a large nursery in the care of a human woman called Nanny (the whereabouts of their parents are never addressed).
Nanny appears in almost every episode, but viewers never see her face, only the babies' view of her pink skirt and purple sweater as well as her distinctive green and white striped socks. It was so cute and so clever and I wish with all my heart that they would finally release it on DVD. :( - CreatorChristy MarxStarsSamantha NewarkPatricia Alice AlbrechtCathianne BloreJerrica Benton is secretly the leader of the glamorous and exciting music group, Jem and the Holograms. The show is about music company owner Jerrica Benton, her singer alter-ego Jem, her band the Holograms, and their adventures. After her father's untimely death, Jerrica obtains her father's record company, a mansion turned orphanage for young girls and a holographic computer, known as Synergy.
She is able to command Synergy to project "the Jem hologram" over herself by means of the remote micro-projectors in her earrings, thus disguising her features and clothing enabling her to assume the Jem persona. She is at constant odds with a rival band called The Misfits and their sleazy manager, Eric Raymond. I loved the music and the fashions so much!! :D - CreatorJeff 'Swampy' MarshDan PovenmireStarsVincent MartellaDan PovenmireAshley TisdalePhineas and Ferb invent, scheme, and stay one step ahead of their bratty sister. Meanwhile, their pet platypus plots against evil Dr. Doofenshmirtz. This show is so clever and funny that I don't even feel ashamed about being an adult who loves it! The series follows Phineas Flynn and his English stepbrother Ferb Fletcher on summer vacation. Every day, the boys embark on some grand new project, which annoys their controlling sister, Candace, who frequently tries to reveal their shenanigans to her and the boys' mother and the B-Plot almost always features Perry the Platypus(the boys' pet platypus) acting as a secret agent ("Agent P") for the OWCA (Organization Without a Cool Acronym), to fight an evil scientist(whose more incompetent than evil) named Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz.

No wonder a lot of adults watch this show as well as children. The show follows a studious unicorn pony named Twilight Sparkle as her mentor Princess Celestia guides her to learn about friendship in the town of Ponyville.
Twilight becomes close friends with five other ponies: Applejack, Rarity, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, and Pinkie Pie. Each represents a different facet of friendship, and Twilight discovers herself to be a key part of the magical artifacts known as the "Elements of Harmony". The ponies travel on adventures and help others around Equestria while working out problems that arise in their own friendships. - CreatorJoe BrummStarsDavid McCormackMelanie ZanettiNinthe van SchieThe slice-of-life adventures of an Australian Blue Heeler Cattle Dog puppy as she has fun with her family and friends in everyday situations. This is absolutely the cutest show I've ever seen! This global phenomenon showcases a community of dogs in Queensland, Australia with a family of Blue Heelers at the center of it. The main character, Bluey, is a 6-year-old girl puppy living with her parents, Bandit and Chili, and her 4-year-old little sister, Bingo. The show focuses on how the family uses playtime and their imaginations to come together and even solve internal and external conflicts.
- CreatorButch HartmanBob BoyleStarsTara StrongSusanne BlakesleeDaran NorrisAfter being tortured and humiliated by his babysitter, a ten year old boy is put under the care of two fairy godparents, who can grant him almost any wish, which leads to dire consequences.A lot of the newer shows I've gotten addicted to were introduced to me by my nieces and nephews who love them too. This was one of the first we bonded over. The show is about the adventures of Timmy Turner, who is granted fairy godparents named Cosmo, who's lovable but severely dim-witted and his wife, Wanda who's loves her husband very much, but can be a bit of a nag. He is assigned godparents because his real parents are mostly absent and leaves him in the care of an evil babysitter named Vicki. He also has a crazy teacher named Mr. Crocker, who suspects he has fairies and wants to harness their powers.

- StarsJoel CooperDonald FulliloveMike MartinezThe animated musical adventures of the Jackson brothers.I really loved this when I was little and wished is stayed on more than a season. This was a fictionalized portrayal of the careers of Motown recording group The Jackson 5. The group didn't do their own voices and only provided the music for the show.
- StarsBob McFaddenLarry KenneyEarl HammondA team of humanoid cats fight evil in their adopted home world.ThunderCats follows the adventures of the eponymous team of heroes, cat-like humanoid aliens from a planet called Thundera. After fleeing their dying planet for Third Earth while in suspended animation, the young Lord of Thundera, Lion-O's chamber had a small malfunction. It slowed his aging rather than stopping it, leaving him a child in an adult's body. Lion-O, as well as the ThunderCats Cheetara, Panthro, Tygra, WilyKit and WilyKat, and Snarf befriend many of Third World's natives and evokes the wrath of a demonic, mummified sorcerer calling himself Mumm-Ra. Quality show that was definitively not kid stuff.
- CreatorHenry OrensteinStarsFrank WelkerPeter CullenCorey BurtonTwo opposing factions of transforming alien robots engage in a battle that has the fate of Earth in the balance. The show is about two factions of sentient alien robots: the heroic Autobots and the evil Decepticons. Both sides are from a race called Transformers - robots that can change into vehicles, mechanical devices and even animal forms. They live on a planet called Cybertron, but was currently uninhabitable. The Autobots make friends with their first two human allies, Spike Witwicky and his father Sparkplug Witwicky. Gen 1 will always be the best incarnation! :)

Joe is the code name for America's daring, highly-trained, Special Mission force. Its purpose: To defend human freedom against Cobra, a ruthless terrorist organization determined to rule the world". - StarsJohn ErwinAlan OppenheimerLinda GaryThe most powerful man in the universe, He-Man, goes against the evil forces of Skeletor to save the planet Eternia and to protect the secrets of Castle Grayskull. The show takes place on the fictional planet of Eternia, a planet of magic, myth and fantasy. The show's lead character is Prince Adam, the young son of Eternia's rulers, King Randor and Queen Marlena. Whenever Prince Adam uses the Power Sword, and when he holds it aloft and says the magic words "By the Power of Grayskull, I HAVE THE POWER" he is transformed into He-Man, the most powerful man in the universe. His purpose is to defend Eternia from the evil forces of Skeletor. Skeletor's main goal is to conquer the mysterious fortress of Castle Grayskull, from which He-Man draws his powers. Cool! ;)
- StarsMelendy BrittGeorge DiCenzoJohn ErwinPrincess Adora raises her magic sword and becomes She-Ra, the most powerful woman in the universe, to aid her friends in defeating the Evil Horde so their planet Etheria can be free. This show was basically to give girls a female He Man, not that I'm complaining. The show follows the adventures of She-Ra, He-Man's twin sister, who is leading a group of freedom fighters known as the Great Rebellion in the hope of freeing their homeworld of Etheria from the tyrannical rule of Hordak and the Evil Horde.
- CreatorBob KaneEric RadomskiBruce TimmStarsKevin ConroyLoren LesterEfrem Zimbalist Jr.The Dark Knight battles crime in Gotham City with occasional help from Robin and Batgirl.I just want to give the creators a huge debt of gratitude. Noted for its thematic complexity, dark tone, and high artistic quality, the series has been praised by critics and fans alike as arguably the greatest, most faithful adaptation of Batman. I give this show a lot of props for being as dark and edgy as it was for a so-called "kids' show".
- CreatorMark Edward EdensSidney IwanterEric LewaldStarsCedric SmithCal DoddLenore ZannA team of mutant superheroes fight for justice and human acceptance in the Marvel Comics universe. This 90s cartoon featured Cyclops, Wolverine, Rogue, Storm, Beast, Gambit, Jubilee, Jean Grey and Professor X as well as cameos of a few others such as Nightcrawler, Colossus, Emma Frost etc. The show dealt with ills of prejudice, intolerance, isolation, and racism which were all frequent themes, as they were in the comics.
Anti-mutant prejudice and discrimination was depicted through minor characters as well as more prominent ones, including Senator Robert Kelly, the Friends of Humanity (whose activities and masks in later episodes echoed white supremacy groups such as the Ku Klux Klan) and robotic Sentinels. The best X-Men show ever!! :D - CreatorJim DavisStarsLorenzo MusicThom HugeGregg BergerStories about Garfield the cat, Odie the dog, their owner Jon and the trouble they get into, and Orson the Pig and his adventures on a farm with fellow farm animals. This show's seven seasons made it one of the longest running Saturday morning cartoons in history, with most lasting no more than two or three seasons. Of course, this was based on Jim Davis' comic strips, "Garfield" and the lesser known, "U.S. Acres".
- CreatorTom WarburtonStarsBen DiskinDee Bradley BakerLauren TomThe adventures of a group of ten-year-old friends who fight for the right to do everything that adults restrict from them. This Cartoon Network series was about five 10-year-old children who operate from their high-tech tree house and their mission to fight "crimes" against children (such as homework and flossing) committed by adults, senior citizens, teenagers, and other evil children. They make up what is known as Sector V of a worldwide organization called the Kids Next Door. A very cool show that sometimes went into the toilet humor somewhat, but overall was a really funny cartoon.
- CreatorLauren FaustCraig McCrackenMike MoonStarsKeith FergusonGrey GriffinSean MarquetteA boy and his beloved imaginary friend are able to stay together at an orphanage of sorts for imaginary friends that children have outgrown to be adopted by new children. In the Foster's universe, imaginary friends take physical form and become real as soon as children think them up. Once the children outgrow them, the friends move to Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, where they stay until other children come to adopt them. The home is run by the elderly Madame Foster, its founder; her imaginary friend Mr. Herriman, the business manager; and her granddaughter Frankie, who handles day-to-day operations.
Mac is an eight-year-old boy, whom his mother told that he needs to give up his friend Bloo, who hears about Foster's and thinks it will be a perfect place for him to stay. Normally, only a unwanted friend can stay at the home, but Madame Foster makes a special deal: as long as Mac visits every day, Bloo can live there and not be adopted. A wonderful show with kooky characters that are just hilarious, especially one named Cheese! XD - CreatorTim HillStephen HillenburgNick JenningsStarsTom KennyRodger BumpassBill FagerbakkeThe misadventures of a talking sea sponge who works at a fast food restaurant, attends a boating school, and lives in an underwater pineapple.Give me a break... Despite financial troubles, he never loses his cool since work always comes calling sooner or later.I wish this was an ongoing series instead of a bridge between DMC games. In the show, Dante runs his devil-hunting business, Devil May Cry, while struggling under constant financial debt. There are also two new regular characters—Dante's agent Morrison who visits frequently, and Patty Lowell, a young orphan girl he saved in the first episode, who also visits frequently and shares a sisterly relationship with Dante. Very cool show!! :D
- CreatorSeth MacFarlaneDavid ZuckermanStarsAlex BorsteinSeth MacFarlaneSeth GreenIn a wacky Rhode Island town, a dysfunctional family strives to cope with everyday life as they are thrown from one crazy scenario to another. This funny and extremely controversial series centers on the Griffins, a dysfunctional family consisting of parents Peter and Lois; their children Meg, Chris, and Stewie; and their anthropomorphic pet dog Brian. The show is set in the fictional city of Quahog, Rhode Island, and exhibits much of its humor in the form of cutaway gags that often lampoon American culture. The only show in TV history that was cancelled and revived not once, but twice!
- CreatorAlan SmartStarsCharlie AdlerJohn KassirTress MacNeilleThe wacky adventures of the new young hip generation of Warner Brothers Looney Tunes characters, most of them descendants of the original classic toon cast.I really loved this show when it was on the air. Set in the fictional town of Acme Acres, where most of the Tiny Toons and original Looney Tunes characters live, the main characters attended Acme Looniversity, a school whose faculty primarily consists of the mainstays of the classic Warner Bros. cartoons, such as Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Porky Pig, Sylvester the Cat, Wile E. Coyote and Elmer Fudd. In the series, the university was founded to teach the younger cartoon characters how to become funny. I loved the shows modern take on music, fashion, comedy and celebrities. Wonderful!
- CreatorTom RueggerStarsRob PaulsenJess HarnellTress MacNeilleThe zany adventures of a trio of 1930s animated characters in the modern world.Another funny show from my childhood pretty much in the same vein as Tiny Toons, Animaniacs had a large cast of characters, separated into separate segments, with each pair or set of characters acting in its own plot. The Warners, Yakko, Wakko, and Dot, were three cartoon stars from the 1930s that were locked away in the Warner Bros. water tower until the 1990s, when they escaped.
After their escape, they often interacted with Warner Bros. studio workers, including Ralph, the security guard; Dr. Otto Scratchansniff, the studio psychiatrist, and his assistant Hello Nurse. Pinky and the Brain are two genetically altered laboratory mice that continuously plot and attempt to take over the world. Slappy Squirrel is an aged cartoon star that would easily outwit antagonists and educate her nephew, Skippy Squirrel, about cartoon techniques.
Additional principal characters included Rita and Runt, Buttons and Mindy, Chicken Boo, Flavio and Marita (The Hip Hippos), Katie Ka-Boom, a trio of pigeons known as The Goodfeathers, and Minerva Mink. The comedy of Animaniacs was a broad mix of old-fashioned wit, slapstick, pop culture references, and cartoon violence and wackiness. The show featured a number of comedic educational segments that covered subjects such as history, mathematics, geography, astronomy, science, and social studies, often in musical form. - StarsCasey KasemDon MessickMark L. - CreatorFrancisco AngonesMatt YoungbergStarsDavid TennantBen SchwartzDanny PudiThe comedy-adventure series chronicles the high-flying adventures of trillionaire Scrooge McDuck; his temperamental nephew Donald Duck; grandnephews Huey, Dewey, and Louie; Launchpad McQuack; and Mrs. Beakley and her granddaughter Webby. This revamped version of the original 90s series is even better than the original. The new series follows more closely with the comic book that it was originally based on. On top of the dialog being smart and well written, the characters are a lot more fleshed out. The triplets have more distinct voices and personalities, Webby and Mrs. Beakley have more of a role in the series than just being the female characters and Donald isn't just a reoccurring character.
Also, I'm glad that Disney is finally addressing what happened to the boys' mother, Della and making her part of the cast. Disney has been notorious for not being good at showcasing mothers. - StarsBryan ScottGabriela NelsonRobbie RistA teen rock band is abducted to a cartoon fantasy world where music is the key to defeating their enemies and finding their way home.Kidd Video and his band of the same name (played by live-action performers in the first half of the title sequence) were kidnapped by a villain named Master Blaster, and transported to Master Blaster's home dimension, a cartoon world called The Flipside. They were rescued by a fairy named Glitter, and subsequently spent each episode of the series either helping to free the denizens of the Flipside from Master Blaster's rule, or trying to find a way back to the "real world".
Master Blaster, who seemed to be a cartoonization of a corrupt rock manager or music executive, flew around the sky in his floating castle, which resembled a giant jukebox. I loved the music, the references to the hottest rock and pop acts of the time and Bryan Scott was TOO HOT!!! :D - CreatorJymn MagonStarsAlan YoungRussi TaylorTerence McGovernHuey, Dewey, and Louie are in for an epic surprise when they meet their wealthy but reclusive uncle, Scrooge McDuck. The nephews, who were originally living with their uncle Donald Duck, are left in Scrooge's care when the former joins the Navy.
Though Scrooge is the richest duck in the world, he constantly tries to find ways to increase his wealth. Many episodes involve protecting his wealth from villains who want to rob Scrooge of all his money. The prominent recurring antagonists in the show include the Beagle Boys and Magica De Spell who are always finding ways to rob and swindle Scrooge and his nephews. Scrooge's nemesis in the show is Flintheart Glomgold, who always tries to devise plans to unseat Scrooge McDuck from his "Richest Duck in the World" title. - StarsJim CummingsTerence McGovernChristine CavanaughA bumbling superhero battles crime with the help of his daughter and pilot sidekick.Darkwing Duck tells the adventures of the titular superhero, aided by his sidekick and pilot Launchpad MacQuack. Mr. Bumpy is a small green, purple-warted monster living under the bed of a ten-year-old boy, where he eats dirty socks and dust bunnies as if they were delicacies. His best friends are Squishington, a blue monster that lived in the bathroom's toilet tank; and Molly Coddle, a Frankenstein's monster-like rag doll belonging to the boy's sister who acts as the straight man to the crazy antics of the other two.

The battle for supremacy begins...I wish that this show and it's toy line lasted longer, because the entire concept made for what could have been an epic series. Set on the planet Prysmos, the Visionaries consist of two groups of knights — the Spectral Knights and the Darkling Lords. They are both called to for a competition by the wizard Merklynn. After surviving traps, dangerous creatures, and each other, the survivors on both sides are rewarded. John was a dedicated leader of Camp Candy, a summer camp that is presumably built by him, and he tries to get various kids to get along.
The children included Robin - a nature-loving girl; Alex - a tomboy; Vanessa - a snobby fashionista; Iggy - a hypochondriac; his more adventurous younger brother Binky; and Rick - an arrogant prankster. Adult characters included Nurse Molly, who had a crush on John but he never seemed to take notice as he was interested in an attractive redheaded receptionist called Miss Sweetingham. God, I miss John Candy. :( - CreatorDavid KirschnerStarsRick MoranisJackie Earle HaleyFrank WelkerA human teacher(Rick Moranis) teaches a class of archetypal misfits at a high school for monsters. The show revolves around the misadventures of human teacher Max Schneider(voiced by Rick Moranis) who has unwittingly taken a job at Gravedale High, a school for monsters, near the city of Midtown. A new animal character, known as Glomer (voiced by Frank Welker), was added as the "leprechaun gopher". Glomer came from Chaundoon, a city at the end of the rainbow and possessed various magical powers. One such power was the ability to transport Punky and her friends, Margaux, Cherie, and Allen, and at times her beloved dog, Brandon, to any part of the Earth instantly.
