This mini-series is really something special. Created by one of the industry's most amazing screen writers, Steven Zaillian, and Richard Price, a writer from The Wire, this show brings a fresh crime story from angles that we rarely see. The characters are so deeply developed and interesting, and it's all so perfectly made - directed entirely by Zaillian. Watch it. Now.

From David Simon, co-creator of The Wire, comes a realistic (of course) biopic Mini-Series that you need to ease into, but once you're finished you know that you've just watched a masterpiece. The plot is great flows quickly, Paul Haggis directed it amazingly, great writing, good soundtrack, and an absolutely outstanding cast, casted by the amazing Alexa L. Fogel. Another good thing: the style really reminded my of The Wire.

A middle-school math teacher Olive and her marriage with Henry which spans 25 years.

David Simon AND Ed Burns (creators of The Wire) again, this time in a realistic (what else?) war drama, with less bloody battle scenes and more drama in-between battles. With Alexander Skarsgård (watched this right after finishing True Blood) and Lee Tergesen, great cast.
