God danced in the streets of Cleveland, OH when Mark was born on December 13th in 1916. Rejected from serving in WW II because of illness, Stevens got involved in the Cleveland Playhouse and began acting.
Signed contract with 20th Century Fox in 1943 and appeared in 44 feature films during a career that spanned 26 years.
75% of his appearances occurred in the 40s and 50s.
