Shannon Elizabeth was born in Houston, Texas, the daughter of a Syrian/Lebanese father. When Shannon was in 3rd grade, her family moved to Waco, Texas, to be close to relatives. As a girl, Shannon took dance lessons, including tap, ballet, and jazz. While attending high school, however, she was very interested in tennis. She even considered going pro and making tennis her life. During high school, she was active in cheerleading, dance team, and the student council. As a senior, Shannon was in a music video shot in Waco. The local music artists were called "Hi-5", and the director of that video just happened to be Antoine Fuqua. After graduating, Shannon moved to New York City to model. She then traveled all over the world with her newfound career to places that included Japan, Italy, France, and Australia. After moving to Los Angeles years later, she signed on with Ford Models and, eventually, Elite. Shannon had always wanted to start her acting career and had just modeled in hopes that it could help lead her into acting, which it did. About a year after moving to Los Angeles, she started taking acting classes with several different coaches. She got an agent, started working, and in 1999, she landed the iconic role of "Nadia" in the movie American Pie.
Shannon enjoys wearing even more hats these days. Since cutting her directing chops on music videos, she is now directing documentaries and film projects via her production company, Ganesha Productions. She also co-hosts the podcast The Art of Conservation.
Shannon also splits her time between the US and South Africa, running programs within her nonprofit, the Shannon Elizabeth Foundation. The mission is to improve this planet for the animals, environment, and indigenous people.- Actress

One of the most respected and premier mc's - regardless of gender - Rashia Fisher aka Rah Digga, has been legendary. She started off the only female member of New Jersey's acclaimed hip hop group, Da Outsidaz, where she also met future husband, Young Zee. Rah exploded on the music scene when she caught the eye of A Tribe Called Quest's Q-Tip, who introduced Rah to Busta Rhymes, who brought her onboard as the only female member of his Flipmode Squad. It wasn't long before Rah would be featured on some of hip-hop's most ground-breaking and influential projects, from Grammy winners and nominees to platinum juggernauts to gold gems, including: The Fugees' The Score ("Cowboys"); DJ Clue's The Professional, Pt. 2 ("Getting It"); several Busta projects - When Disaster Strikes("We Could Take It Outside"), Genesis ("Betta Stay Up in Your House"); and It Ain't Safe No More ("I Know What You Want"), just to name a few. Following Rah and the Flipmode Squad striking gold with The Imperial Album, and winning the Source Hip Hop Music Award for Best New Group, in 2000 she finally released her solo project, Dirty Harriet. A critically-acclaimed debut, it would produce several chart-topping singles - "Imperial" (featuring Busta), "Tight", "Break Fool" and "Tight The Remix." She also released the hit single, "Party and Bullsh*t" with the heavily spun remix that included Eve and Missy Elliot. Staying true to her roots, Rah has performed consistently on classic "underground" and cutting-edge artist and DJ compilation projects, such as: The Lyricist Lounge Vol. 1 ("Be Ok"); the anti-police brutality Hip Hop For Respect, in memory of Amadou Diallo; Talib Kweli's Reflection Eternal/Train of Thought ("Down for the Count"); DJ Whoo Kid & Lloyd Banks' Money in the Bank ("Party Over Here"), and many others. In addition, Rah has worked with some of hip hop's top producers, including: Rockweilder, Primo, Pete Rock, Scott Storch and Jus Blaze. Over the last ten years she has also revealed yet another great talent - acting. Starring alongside Beyonce and Wyclef Jean, Rah made her debut in MTV's Carmen: A Hip Hopera. She was also able to display her comedy skills as a guest star on FOX's "MAD TV." Though she was featured in two hip hop documentaries, Rah made her acting film debut in Thirteen Ghosts.
Now, Ten years after her solo gold solo debut, Dirty Harriet, Rah Digga is going back to her hip-hop roots with her new album "Classic". This album, produced by hip-hop super-producer Knotts, is Rah Digga at her purest, going back to her B-girl roots, with ten of her most hard hitting and lyrically challenging tracks to date. It is what her fans and fellow artists have been waiting ten years to hear. The return of Rah Digga has been long overdue, and it is finally upon us.- Visual Effects

As flamboyant as any character in his movies, Joel Silver can be credited along with Jerry Bruckheimer as practically reinventing the action film genre in the 1980s. Born in New Jersey, he attended the New York University Film School. After college, he worked at Lawrence Gordon Pictures, earning his first onscreen credit as associate producer of The Warriors (1979). He eventually became president of the motion picture division of Gordon Pictures. Together with Gordon, Silver produced 48 Hrs. (1982) and Streets of Fire (1984). In 1983 he formed Silver Pictures and initially set up shop at Universal Pictures to produce Brewster's Millions (1985) before going to Fox and continued producing hit action films such as Commando (1985), the "Lethal Weapon" franchise, the first two films of the "Die Hard" franchise and the three films of "Matrix" franchise of action films. He had then subsequently joined Warner Bros. in 1987 after leaving Fox. Despite these successes, he has hit some rough spots and has been banned from working on several studio lots. He was unable to produce the "48 Hrs" sequel Another 48 Hrs. (1990), the third "Die Hard" film, Die Hard with a Vengeance (1995) and the fourth "Matrix" installment The Matrix Resurrections (2021) because of past run-ins with studio executives. Because of his habit of wearing sport shirts and talking loudly and quickly, he has been parodied in several films, even spoofing himself in Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988) by playing the frustrated cartoon director in the film's opening sequence. In order to perform in that role, he had to use an alias to get onto the Walt Disney lot, and his onscreen credit was not revealed to Disney executives until the very last minute. He had worked in television, setting up his own television branch with his first project Parker Kane (1990), a project that would eventually never made to series, and then worked at HBO for many years, until he found a home at Warner Bros. Television in 1998, where he had developed two UPN shows The Strip (1999) and Freedom (2000) before finding commercial success with the hit Veronica Mars (2004). In 1999, Silver Pictures had teamed up with film director/producer Robert Zemeckis to set up Dark Castle Entertainment to produce genre and horror films with the first film under Dark Castle being House on Haunted Hill (1999). Joel Silver pioneered the practice of shooting action movies in Australia with the "Matrix" films, and has been credited with either inventing or reinventing the careers of Eddie Murphy, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Steven Seagal. He was mentioned in Halle Berry's Academy Award acceptance speech. Other credits include non-action pictures, ranging from Xanadu (1980), Weird Science (1985) and Fred Claus (2007) to HBO's long-running TV series, Tales from the Crypt (1989). He had resigned from his founding production company in 2019.- Producer

A whiz-kid with special effects, Robert is from the Spielberg camp of film-making (Steven Spielberg produced many of his films). Usually working with writing partner Bob Gale, Robert's earlier films show he has a talent for zany comedy (Romancing the Stone (1984), 1941 (1979)) and special effect vehicles (Who Framed Roger Rabbit (1988) and Back to the Future (1985)). His later films have become more serious, with the hugely successful Tom Hanks vehicle Forrest Gump (1994) and the Jodie Foster film Contact (1997), both critically acclaimed movies. Again, these films incorporate stunning effects. Robert has proved he can work a serious story around great effects.- Producer

In the fall of 2014 Richards launched Endurance Media with a $250 million financing structure to produce and finance films in the $20 - 60 million range. Endurance will produce and finance two to three films in its launch year. The venture also kicks off with a strategic alliance with Entertainment One Films, which will distribute Endurance films in multiple territories.
Steve Richards has held the roles of Co-President and COO over the past 20 years and has provided leadership and expertise throughout his career in producing, corporate management, film production, financial structuring, capital procurement, and strategic business development.
From 1995 to 2014, Richards presided over Silver Pictures during a highly prolific period of film production and distribution, including the release of numerous blockbusters, such as the groundbreaking "Matrix" trilogy and the highly successful "Sherlock Holmes" franchise. During his tenure, Richards grew the company from a studio-based company to a dynamic boutique production and distribution company, generating over $5 billion in worldwide box office revenues. Richards expanded Silver Pictures' affiliations and managed key relationships with leaders of the entertainment, media and other industries, including Universal Pictures, Warner Bros., Warner Home Video, Cartoon Network, Village Roadshow, HBO, Mercedes Benz, Heineken and GM. In 2012, Richards also forged a key strategic relationship with StudioCanal and negotiated a first-look, multi-year film production arrangement to produce up to 6 feature films distributed in the US by Universal Pictures.
During his tenure at Silver Pictures, Richards structured a $240 million film portfolio fund with numerous institutional investors and lenders to produce more than ten feature films and to be distributed globally by Warner Bros.
Prior to 1995, Richards held other management roles for the International Movie Group, a publicly traded company, and Scott Free, a production company led by acclaimed film directors, Tony and Ridley Scott.- Dirk Been is a "Survivor." Long before appearing on the #1 CBS series "Survivor," Been learned key survival skills including responsibility and commitment while growing up on his parents Wisconsin dairy farm. Those childhood lessons instilled a self-disciplined attitude that continued with Dirk through high school and college. Throughout his teenage years and after, Dirk continued to work as a sports coach and counselor with young people with organizations including The Boys & Girls Club and YMCA. Basketball has always been a part of Dirk's life especially during college where he was quickly promoted to team captain and Academic All Conference for 3 years. Shortly after graduating from Seattle Pacific University in 1998, Dirk decided to explore the world and traveled around the United States many times sleeping out of his car. Fate soon intervened while Dirk was visiting a friend in Los Angeles in 1999 when his ATM credit card was stolen and his bank account depleted. This incident did not force Dirk to return home but instead motivated him to seek the opportunity of a lifetime when he spotted an ad for a new series titled "Survivor." The day before the deadline Dirk sent in his audition tape and out of 6,000 submissions Dirk soon learned he was one of the first selected to partake in this new adventure. Dirk was one of 16 individuals placed on a remote island and forced to use his own skills combined with teamwork to survive the unknown. Although he did not walk away with the million-dollar prize, Dirk gained new insight to life that cannot be measured in dollars. His new found celebrity status has come as a surprise to Dirk who has been featured on multiple entertainment and news programs across the country including national shows such as Late Night With David Letterman, The Tonight Show, Entertainment Tonight, Access Hollywood, The X Show, Extra, E! Entertainment and Nash Bridges. Dirk's infectious and positive attitude has overshadowed that which was depicted on the television program. Most agree Dirk reminds them of the guy everyone wanted to be friends with in high school. Dirk continues to speak to today's youth encouraging education, mentorship and living a life free of drugs and alcohol. His hobbies include spending time with his family, playing basketball and reading.

Kirk Thomas Cameron was born in Panorama City, California, to Barbara Cameron (née Barbara Jeanne Bausmith), a homemaker, and Robert Cameron, a teacher. Though his parents initially did not project show business aspirations onto their children, a family friend in the business noted to Barbara that both Kirk and his sister, Candace Cameron Bure, were cute enough that they could easily pick up lucrative work in commercials. After Cameron began appearing in TV ads for "Polaroid", "McDonald's" and "Count Chocula" cereal, he found himself wound up in Hollywood's notorious child-star mill, netting minor cute-kid parts in a handful of TV movies, including a couple of Disney projects and two ABC Afterschool Specials (1972) (1972-95). In 1983, he landed a regular gig, as a precocious kid, in ABC's Two Marriages (1983), a show that remained on the air less than a month. He found a more winning formula in 1985 with Growing Pains (1985), playing the oldest son of a family headed by a psychiatrist (Alan Thicke) and a journalist (Joanna Kerns), one in a sequence of family network sitcoms characterized by with-it parents and mischievous-but-squeaky-clean kids. On the show, Cameron played the incorrigible but dumb "Mike Seaver" and his winning portrayal won over a large number of teen fans. In spite of scathing critical notices, "Growing Pains" ranked among Nielsen's top 20 network shows for its first four seasons, rising to No. 5 in its 1987-88 year. On the heels of his sitcom success, Cameron appeared in his first feature film in 1986, the Robin Williams/Kurt Russell glory-days comedy, The Best of Times (1986).
ABC would pump up Cameron as its "It" boy, and his trademark smirk in coming years would grace covers of a raft of teen magazines. Meanwhile, job offers cropped up to exploit his proverbial 15 minutes; he played the son/father of Dudley Moore in Like Father Like Son (1987), one of Hollywood's periodic flavor-du-jour retreads of the mystical parent/sibling body-switch comedies; netted the starring role in a high-profile Pepsi Super Bowl XXIV commercial; rated top-billing in Listen to Me (1989), an overwrought, widely-panned college drama about debate team wonks arguing against Roe v. Wade; and did a guest-shot, alongside sister Candace, on her ABC sister sitcom, Full House (1987) (1987-1995). Firmly established as the resident star of "Growing Pains", Cameron saw his pay jump to $50,000 a week and his fans sending him some 10,000 letters a week. But his coming-of-age took an unexpected turn, at least for everyone who worked with him. As he would later recall it in his autobiography, "Still Growing", the family of his first girlfriend initially exposed the 17-year-old to evangelical Christianity. Cameron experienced what he would later describe as a "life-changing encounter with Jesus" and declared himself "born again".- Actor

Despite being one of the smallest actors in Hollywood at 37 inches, Josh proved quality early on in life. By creating and distributing his own business cards before he was even a teenager, Josh landed a spot on "The Dancing Baby" ice cream commercial, which led to his role in Baby Geniuses (1999), where he played all the babies and did all the dancing. His co-star in that, Peter MacNicol, introduced him to David E. Kelley, who cast him as recurring guest Oren Koolie on Ally McBeal (1997), a child lawyer who gives Ally a hard time. His role on Passions (1999) was his first contract role in a TV series. He also appeared in How the Grinch Stole Christmas (2000) with Jim Carrey.
His mother added recently: "Perhaps he didn't live many years but he lived a life that was filled with big dreams most of which he lived as a reality rather than only dreaming about. He said the only dream that can't come true is one that no one dares to dream, other than that every dream is possible. I hope that Josh will always be remembered not because he died but because he really lived a life filled with love and laughter and lots and lots of dreams. He made the most out of what he had, he was larger than life and we should all be as wise as the little guy with the big dreams."- Silas Gaither was born on 28 January 1978 in Germantown, Tennessee, USA. John Frizzell has composed music for Film and Television across a wide range of genres in his career. Recently his dark mysterious score for two seasons of Kevin Williamson's CBS All Access series Tell Me A Story, is a sharp contrast to his comedic score for FOX television's Duncanville starring Amy Poehler, and his co-composed score to Mike Judge Presents: Tales From the Tour Bus on which he collaborated with the legendary George Clinton. As a Producer and Composer, he recently completed work on Alex Winter's documentary Zappa which explores the complex life and music of Frank Zappa.
Over the years, he has created scores as varied as the dark and violent Alien Resurrection, the quirky off-beat music for the cult classics Office Space and Beavis and Butt-Head Do America, the epic sound of Gods and Generals, and the dark and disturbing score for the FOX series The Following. In addition, he has composed the gentle melodies of the intimate period drama The Prize Winner of Defiance, Ohio and created the plaintive jazz score behind James Franco's Golden Globe winning performance in James Dean. In recent years Frizzell, a mandolin and guitar player, has worked with BMI (Broadcast Music, Inc.) to promote and support Bluegrass Music on the west coast.
Born in New York City, Frizzell began his music career early, singing in the chorus of the Paris Opera Company and the Metropolitan Opera Company. As a teenager he played guitar in rock bands, and later became focused on jazz, a passion that led him to pursue a formal musical education at the University of Southern California Thornton School of Music as well as the Manhattan School of Music. It was during his college years that Frizzell met his mentor, guitar legend Joe Pass, and through Pass, Frizzell discovered his calling as a composer.
After college Frizzell worked for acclaimed producer/vibraphonist Michael Mainieri, who owned the first digital music workstation, a Synclavier. Frizzell became a master synthesist, a skill that led him to work with Academy Award winning composer Ryuichi Sakamoto, for whom Frizzell provided orchestrations to Oliver Stone's landmark mini-series Wild Palms. When he relocated to Los Angeles, Frizzell was introduced to James Newton Howard, who mentored him and composed the themes for Frizzell's first two feature films, The Rich Man's Wife and Dante's Peak.
Known to experiment with evolving music technology in his Film/TV scores, Frizzell has utilized experimental devices and software to create a fluid, collaborative and creative process, while still incorporating more traditional orchestral writing. Whether he is recording dry ice being rubbed on the inside of a piano or capturing the nuances of great violinists like Mark O'Conner or Sara Watkins, Frizzell strives to create a score intimately tied to picture and enhance the story.
A proponent for film music and film music issues, Frizzell has served on the Executive Board of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, lectured to graduate students at USC Thornton School of Music and the Sundance Film Music Lab. He has also served as the Honorary President of the International Film Music Conference in Ubeda, Spain.- Actress

Best known as the fire breathing, blood splitting and larger than life co-founder of the major hard rock group, KISS. Simmons was actually born Chaim Witz in August 1949 in Haifa, Israel, the son of Hungarian Jewish parents, Flóra "Florence" (Klein or Kovács) and Feri Yechiel Witz. He moved to New York as a young child. Like many American teenagers of the 1960s, he was influenced by a fascination with comic book super heroes, monster movies and rock and roll music, thus the teenage Simmons set about creating what he perceived as the ultimate music supergroup.
Simmons eventually crossed paths with like-minded musician / songwriter Paul Stanley (born Stanley Eisen) in the early 1970s, and after several failed attempts to create their dream band, they recruited fellow New Yorkers spaced out guitarist Ace Frehley (born Paul Daniel Frehley) and "do anything to make it" drummer Peter Criss (born Peter Crisscuola).
The four struggling young musicians practiced relentlessly in a rundown loft in New York City refining their music & stage show before eventually launching themselves on the New York live music scene in the early 1970s with their blitzkrieg style of hard rock, kabuki stage make up and unforgettable high energy performances. After bombarding media, TV & public relations identities with invites to their shows, Simmons and Stanley soon brokered a deal with Madison Ave executive Bill Aucoin for him to manage the band, and Aucoin soon scored KISS a record deal with the fledgling Casablanca Records & Filmworks.....and the rest as they say is KISStory!
Since their first album debuted in 1974, KISS have sold over 80 million albums and played over 2,000 shows to millions of loyal fans (known as the KISS Army) right around the globe. Never one to keep still for too long, the charismatic Simmons made his first feature film appearance as his alter ego (The Demon from KISS) in the 1978 telemovie Kiss Meets the Phantom of the Park (1978), which received scathing reviews in the USA from TV critics. However KISS fans internationally loved the film and it played theatrically to strong box office business in dozens of countries, and has since become something of a cult film....despite its corny, cartoonish plot! Since KISS didn't drop wearing their distinctive make up until 1983, it was several years before Simmons appeared in front of the cameras again (this time without the Demon make up), as an evil techno-junkie killer battling Tom Selleck in the thriller Runaway (1984). Simmons has since continued to turn up in low-key roles in B-grade thrillers such as Wanted: Dead or Alive (1986) and Red Surf (1989) that utilize his ability to glower and look menacingly into the camera. In addition, Simmons has appeared in minor guest roles in several TV crime shows including Miami Vice (1984), Millennium (1996) and, most recently, in Third Watch (1999).
