Jensen Ross Ackles, better known as simply Jensen Ackles, was born on March 1, 1978, in Dallas, Texas, to Donna Joan (Shaffer) and actor Alan Ackles. He has English, German, and Scottish ancestry. Jensen grew up in Richardson, Texas, together with his older brother, Joshua, and a younger sister, Mackenzie. Jensen graduated from Dartmouth Elementary School in 1990, he graduated from Apollo Junior High School in 1993, and LV Berkner High School in 1996.
Jensen is a sports junkie. He loves football, lacrosse, baseball and basketball. He even played on the baseball and lacrosse teams in high school. The 6' 1" actor first started modeling when he was just 2 years old. When he turned 4, he started appearing in TV commercials for Nabisco, RadioShack and Wal-Mart. He caught the acting bug because he was mostly influenced by his father, who was an actor in Dallas. He used to watch his father study scripts, and that taught him a few things about the industry. During his later years in high school, he started taking theater classes, where he claimed he was the only "jock" in that department. When he was just a sophomore, a friend of Jensen had asked him to attend a local acting seminar. Two guys, Craig Wargo, and an agent, 'Michael Einfeld', were interested in Jensen's talent and wanted him to go to Los Angeles with them.
Jensen had to say no to the offer and admitted at one point, he thought they would forget about him but, eventually, when he went to Los Angeles, he still managed to get help from them. Prior to that, Jensen actually planned to study sports medicine at Texas Tech University and become a physical therapist, before he decided to move to Los Angeles to give acting a try. In 1996, he managed to secure guest roles on several TV shows, which included Wishbone (1995), Mr. Rhodes (1996) and Sweet Valley High (1994). Jensen's big break came when he was cast in the NBC soap opera, Days of Our Lives (1965), as Eric Brady in 1997. He won a Soap Opera Digest Award for Best Male Newcomer in 1998, and was nominated three times in 1998, 1999, and 2000 for a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series for his work on Days of Our Lives (1965). After spending about three years on a soap set, he left Days of Our Lives (1965) and went on to appear in the mini-series Blonde (2001), which was about the life of Marilyn Monroe, playing Eddie G. He also auditioned for the role of Clark Kent on Smallville (2001), but lost the part to Tom Welling, instead.
Not giving up hope, he went for a few auditions and managed to secure a guest role on the popular James Cameron TV series, Dark Angel (2000), as serial killer Ben/X5-493, the brother of main character Max/X5-452, who was played by Jessica Alba. His character died in the episode, but Jensen eventually returned to the show as a regular in the second season as Ben's clone, Alec/X5-494 and continued on until the show's cancellation in 2002. In 2003, he joined the cast of Dawson's Creek (1998), playing the role of C.J., Jen Lindley's lover. He also filmed episodes of the TV series, Still Life (2003), playing the role of Max Morgan, not knowing that the series was actually dropped. He also had a small role in the short film, The Plight of Clownana (2004), playing the role of Jensen. That same year, he was offered the part of Eliza Dushku's love interest on the second season of Tru Calling (2003). Jensen, however, turned down the role which was later offered to another actor, Eric Christian Olsen. He was subsequently cast on Smallville (2001), as Assistant football coach Jason Teague, the new love interest of Lana Lang. In 2005, Jensen managed to earn a lead role in the movie, Devour (2005), playing the role of Jake Gray. Jensen also earned the opportunity to work his father, actor Alan Ackles, who happened to play his character's father, Paul Kilton. The movie, however, received mixed reviews from the public.
That same year, Jensen joined the cast of the CW series, Supernatural (2005), where he plays the role of Dean Winchester. Dean and his brother Sam, who is played by Jared Padalecki, are brothers who drive throughout the United States hunting paranormal predators, sometimes with their father, John Winchester, played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan. It was reported that the creator of the show, Eric Kripke, mentioned that the show will last for a maximum of five seasons. In 2006, Jensen took on a role in the Independently filmed comedy/drama movie, Ten Inch Hero (2007), which explores the theme of honesty and the flaw of judging by appearances. In 2007 the film began a limited run at number of film festivals including the Newport Beach Film Festival, Phoenix Film Festival and the Santa Cruz Film Festival but never made it into major mainstream theatrical release. In the Spring of 2008 Ten Inch Hero was released onto DVD exclusively through Blockbuster. Jensen however, received high praise for his work as Priestly, who one of the movie's more quirky characters.
From June 5-10 in 2007 Jensen had his professional stage debut as Lt. Daniel Kaffee in "A Few Good Men" at Casa Manana Theatre in Fort Worth, Texas, working along side Lou Diamond Phillips. This proved to be another successful acting venture for Jensen, as critics were impressed with his work in this role. During his free time, Jensen enjoys golfing, horseback riding, scuba diving and photography. He is also a big fan of country music. His favorite musician is Garth Brooks. He even sang back-up vocals on good friend Steve Carlson's albums "Spot in the Corner" and "Rollin' On." In the summer of 2008 Jensen traveled to Kittaning, PA to film the horror/thriller movie, My Bloody Valentine (2009), which was filmed in the cutting edge Real D technology, Jensen played the lead role of Tom Hanniger and starred alongside Jaime King and Kerr Smith.
Jensen splits his time between Vancouver, British Columbia where he films Supernatural (2005) and his home in Austin, Texas.- Actor

Jim Beaver is an American character actor, best known for his leading roles on the TV series Deadwood (2004) and Supernatural (2005). Born in Laramie, Wyoming a minister's son, he was raised in and around Irving, Texas, a suburb of Dallas. Following high school and a year of college, he joined the Marines and served as a radioman with the 1st Marine Division in Vietnam. He attended Oklahoma Christian College (now Oklahoma Christian University), Edmond, OK, where he first became interested in acting as a career. After one year, he transferred to Central State University (now the University of Central Oklahoma), Edmond, OK, and while a student made his professional debut in a production of "Rain" at the Oklahoma Theatre Center in 1972. He obtained a degree in theatre and returned to the Dallas area where he worked for five seasons with the Dallas Shakespeare Festival. He had written several plays in college and afterward (as well as a biography of actor John Garfield), and in 1979 he was commissioned for the first of three plays at Actors Theatre of Louisville. He also began to make appearances in bit roles in films and television shows shot in the Dallas area, including Semi-Tough (1977) and Dallas (1978). Moving to New York in 1979, he worked in stock and in dinner theatre tours, and also maintained a side career as a critic, columnist, and feature writer for Films in Review, the magazine of the National Board of Review. An assignment for an article on TV Superman George Reeves led him to Los Angeles. During his research there, his play "Verdigris" was produced to solid reviews at Theatre West in Hollywood, and he was signed as a writer by Sam Adams, partner in the prestigious Triad Artists agency. He began a successful period as a television writer, penning episodes for shows such as Vietnam War Story (1987), Tour of Duty (1987), and Alfred Hitchcock Presents (1985), and was nominated for a CableAce Award for an episode of the latter. He had continued to act on stage and in small film and TV roles, and in 1988 he landed a substantial supporting role as Bruce Willis's best friend, an alcoholic Vietnam veteran, in Norman Jewison's production In Country (1989). He gave up television writing and concentrated on acting. Slowly his roles grew larger (and more varied). He was Mark Harmon's chain-smoking detective partner Earl Gaddis on Reasonable Doubts (1991) and Edward Asner's dim-witted mechanic assistant Leland on Thunder Alley (1994). He was frequently cast in Westerns (Geronimo: An American Legend (1993), Bad Girls (1994), among many others) or as detectives, sheriffs, or police officers (Sister Act (1992), Sliver (1993), Joy Ride (2001)). After two seasons on 3rd Rock from the Sun (1996) as French Stewart's sullen bar-owner boss Happy Doug, Beaver landed his most prominent and critically acclaimed role, that of Ellsworth, the gruff but decent and beloved prospector in the landmark Western series Deadwood (2004). Nominated along with other cast members for a 2006 Screen Actors Guild Award, he found his career in high gear following that series. From it he moved to the popular father-figure role of demon hunter Bobby Singer on Supernatural (2005), a part that brought him a worldwide fan base and a secondary career making personal appearances. He was married to and had a daughter with Cecily Adams, the actress-casting director daughter of Get Smart (1965)'s Don Adams. Following her death from lung cancer in 2004, he wrote a best-selling memoir, "Life's That Way." He has continued to write plays and, between acting jobs, to work on the George Reeves project, now planned as a book. He served as biographical consultant on Reeves for the semi-biopic Hollywoodland (2006).- Actor

Nicki Aycox lived a full artistic life since the age of nine, when she fell in love with the family piano and began playing music. By the time she had reached her preteens Nicki was performing Beethoven for audiences all around Oklahoma, until her family had a huge financial setback and was forced to sell her piano. Nicki said that this sad circumstance played a major role in her shift to the theater. Like a lot of kids her age she began performing in her high school theater, and also in drama competitions. She won state titles in different categories, and became very comfortable with being in front of an audience. She once said that she was on stage long before she ever actually sat in an audience. After high school graduation she attended the University of Oklahoma and began serious academic study. Soon, however, she found herself driving to California to enroll in the theater department at Long Beach State. While working two jobs and participating in the theater department, Nicki found little time to study and take a full class load. In her second year at Long Beach State Nicki was able to sign with a small agency in Hollywood, and thus began her career as a professional performer - a career which began relatively quickly compared to most. She was working small bit parts on several popular networks and shows within a year of making the move from Oklahoma to Los Angeles. In the beginning of her career Nicki acted opposite actor Stephen Rae in an HBO film called "Double Tap", as well as appearing in shows like "Third Rock from the Sun", NBC's "Providence", David Kelley's "Ally McBeal", and in the X-Files episode "Rush" in 1999. That role from the TV show led to a role in the second "X-Files" film "I Want to Believe" in 2008. In a time when an unspoken difference between "film" actors and "television" actors existed, Aycox did not allow this rule to apply to her.
Her work during these early years included guest spots on "CSI", and "Dark Angel", a recurring role n NBC's "ED" playing the wild and crazy sister of Julie Bowen. At some points Nicki would be pulling double duty playing roles on different shows. She played the sister of Katherine Morris on CBS's "Cold Case", while shooting the series "LAX" with Heather Locklear. By 2005, Aycox was made a series regular on shows such as FX's "Over There" created by Steven Bochco and Chris Gerolmo. She moved on from there to play a very memorable role as a psychotic serial killer in an episode of "Criminal Minds" titled "The Perfect Storm". The following year Nicki appeared in the Halle Berry film "Perfect Stranger". One of her most widely known roles was that of Meg Masters in "Supernatural".
In the years 2009-2013 Aycox enjoyed success as a series regular as Jamie Allen in the Bruckheimer series "Dark Blue". Next she was cast as Lisa Matthews in the Indie film "Lifted", directed by Oscar nominated director Lexi Alexander. Around this time she also awarded a best actress award by the Buffalo Niagara film festival for her portrayal as a German woman fighting to save her sanity in the World War II film "Christina". Her co-star, Stephen Lang, was also awarded for his role as Inspector Reinheart. Aycox spent her final years reclaiming her love of music, playing the guitar and singing for audiences, as well as continuing her acting career.
Aycox revealed on Instagram that she had been diagnosed with leukemia in March 2021. She passed away on November 16th, 2022.- Actor

Whitfield has starred in dozens of prime-time shows and feature films, but one of his proudest professional moments so far is his leading role in the Emmy-winning mini-series, "The Temptations." Nominated for an NAACP Image Award for his portrayal of Otis Williams, Whitfield says people still applaud his performance, years later.
Despite his impressive body of work, Whitfield could have easily ended up on a dramatically different path, if it weren't for critical decisions he made as a teenager. A native of the Bronx, New York, Whitfield admits, "I came up through the journey of selling drugs. I made my first million dollars at age 14. It's not something I'm proud of, but it's an unfortunate part of my past." A high school teacher introduced Whitfield to acting, which became an outlet for him to channel his energy and passion. He realized that acting was his true calling after performing a monologue about losing his best friend to the drug wars, at a group home for boys.
In addition to raising his children, Whitfield also finds time to teach an acting class, in an effort to help aspiring thespians develop their craft. He's in pre-production on an autobiography of his professional and personal journey, which he intends to direct.- Actress

Julian Richings was born and raised in Oxford, England, and is one of three boys. All pursued careers in professional theatre: his older brother is a set designer, and his younger brother is a lighting designer. After graduating from the University of Exeter Drama Department in 1977, he performed extensively in theatres throughout the UK. In 1980 he toured internationally in a highly acclaimed adaptation of James Joyce's Ulysses with resident spells in New York, Chicago, Toronto and Grotowski's Teatr Laboritorium in Wroclaw, Poland. Julian settled in North America in 1984 and became an established presence in Toronto's theatre and film scene, assuming roles in three landmark independent films; The Red Violin, Cube and Hard Core Logo. The latter, directed by Bruce McDonald in 1996, is ranked among the greatest Canadian films of all time, in which Julian played the bitter punk legend Bucky Haight. He continued to work frequently with Bruce McDonald and reprised the role in Hard Core Logo 2 almost fifteen years later. Julian worked with Special Effects legend Stan Winston on Wrong Turn (2003) and applied his physical theatre skills to create the terrifying role of Three Finger. Although he only appeared in the original movie, five subsequent films were made in what became a highly successful horror franchise. He has since become a familiar figure in horror and genre films, collaborating with indie trailblazers Foresight Features and Black Fawn Films. With Vortex Productions, he starred in Anything For Jackson, for which he received a BITS (Blood In The Snow) Award. He has also appeared in Robert Eggers' The Witch and Ari Aster's Beau Is Afraid for A24 films and the blockbusters X-Men 3, Man of Steel, and Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief. Among his hundreds of television appearances, Julian is perhaps best known for recurring roles in Stephen King's Kingdom Hospital (Otto), Patriot (Peter Ichabod) and perhaps most significantly as the Grim Reaper in Supernatural (Death). Over the years, due to his portrayals of various vampires, creatures and aliens, together with many a spectacular onscreen demise, Julian has enjoyed collaborating with special effects teams worldwide, spending many hours in makeup and prosthetics. At one particularly busy phase of his career, his severed head was prominently displayed on the walls of half a dozen special effects shops across North America. Julian is always happy to meet fans, share his many stories from working in the industry for almost fifty years, and simply discuss his love of performing. Rick Springfield was born Richard Lewis Springthorpe in Guildford, Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, to Eileen Louise (Evennett) and Norman James Springthorpe, a Lt. Colonel in the Australian Army. His maternal grandparents were English, and his father was of English and some Scottish descent. Rick spent his childhood on various army bases in Australia and Britain. As a teenager, he fronted many music bands, such as the "Jordy Boys", "Wakedy Wak", and "Zoot". The latter was his most successful, paving his way for future success as a musician. He came to the U.S. early 1970s, and recorded an album, Beginnings. It had one "major" hit - Speak to The Sky. After that came "Comic Book Heroes", which was marginally successful.
He learned to speak English with an American accent to further his acting career, after he lost his record label. While he waited for his big break, he signed a contract with Universal television, playing bit parts in shows such as The Six Million Dollar Man (1974) and The Rockford Files (1974). He also had a recurring role on the soap The Young and the Restless (1973). In the early 1980s, his luck changed as he signed to RCA Records and was then cast as "Dr. Noah Drake" on the soap General Hospital (1963). While he had released six albums in the 1970s, his 1980 break-through album "Working Class Dog" gave him the #1 single "Jessie's Girl". From the music and TV exposure, he became a teen idol. He continued to star on "GH" while touring and releasing "Success Hasn't Spoiled Me Yet", with the hit "Don't Talk To Strangers". Upon releasing his 3rd album with RCA-"Living In Oz" he quit "GH" and went back to his rock roots. "Living In Oz" is considered by many his finest (and hardest rock) album. He starred in the movie Hard to Hold (1984) in 1984 and released the soundtrack to it with the hit "Love Somebody", followed by "Don't Walk Away" and "Bop Til Ya Drop". His next album, "Tao", started his slow descent from rock star status. It was followed up in 1988 by "Rock Of Life" which was his 'moodiest' and least recognized album (by the public).

After completing the course Genna asked if she could please audition for the youth theatre's acting tour. Skylar is an actor, a singer, a writer, a lover of poetry. She was born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta and is of Métis heritage. Her first major experience in the entertainment world was for the late, great, horror cult classic Director Ulli Lommel. She was just 16 years old, and was cast as the lead after a Canada wide and an abroad search for the movie "Boogeyman: Reincarnation". Lommel was so impressed with her that he gave her the role. This called for some major script adjustments as the role was originally written for someone in their 20's. That was it; she fell in love with acting and also started learning about what goes on behind the scenes. She would then audition for a small role in an TV series streaming on Telus Optic called "Super Drycleaners" (also available on YouTube) By Barb Briggs and Brandon Rhiness in Calgary, Alberta. While there, she was asked to read for the co-lead with only half an hour to prepare. She landed the role. There were other shorts and films in Alberta including "Cold Comfort", a film in the process of distribution, where she co-wrote and sings a song in the movie, also titled "Comfort". When Skylar relocated to Vancouver, BC to pursue acting full time, she was signed with Lucas Talent. Since then, she has appeared twice on "Supernatural" as "Max", one of the residents of the leads hometown base, and twice as Josephine II on CW's hit "The 100". She has also booked roles on "Twilight Zone", "Psych 2", and "When The Streetlights Go On". A singer with a classically trained Soprano voice, Skylar is writing her own songs for an EP. Zenia Marshall is a Canadian film/tv actress and emerging indie alternative pop singer/songwriter. Best known for her work as a recurring guest star throughout the seasons of Peacock TV's teen drama/mystery and internationally top 10 streamed Netflix series, "One Of Us Is Lying", she is also most recognized for her leading role in the TV series "Date My Dad" alongside "7th Heaven's" Barry Watson and Hollywood's legendary icon, Raquel Welch.
Having first film debuted and recorded with 80's Pop Star Princess, Debbie Gibson, as a supporting lead in her movie "Summer of Dreams", Zenia has most recently made her first theatrical film debut in Michael Kennedy's beloved slasher/horror movie, "It's A Wonderful Knife", and can be seen in her guest starring work in CW's "Supernatural" and SYFY's "Van Helsing", to name a few.
When off screen and set, Zenia tours internationally with her family band as a singer in Luisa Marshall's award-winning and internationally-acclaimed Tina Turner Tribute, headlines and co-directs as an artistic director in the nationally toured theatre act "Relive The Music 50s/60s Show", as well as performs with various musicals and rock bands. As a singer-songwriter, she independently produces her music videos and projects, and continues to release her own original music, blending a soundscape of dreamy vocals, guitars, and synths to create an ethereal cinematic ambience of a genre bent alternative indie pop.- Cory's mother decided to add a week-long acting camp to her son's summer itinerary because she just had a feeling that he'd like it, and she was right. He asked to be put into a class for professional actors, so his mother signed him up at the world-acclaimed Arts Umbrella. After studying for six months he asked for an agent, went in to read for one of the best (Trudy Aronson of Webster Talent Management) and landed an agent.
Within one month of 'going pro', he went out for his first audition and nailed it. He got his first acting role on the popular and critically acclaimed series Fargo (2014) and flew to Calgary to perform his very first lines in sign-language. He had just returned to Vancouver when he got the role of 11-year-old Arden, a younger version of a character played by William Moseley in the TV movie My Sweet Audrina (2016) from a book by famed novelist Virginia C. Andrews.
When he got the recurring role of Aden in the enormously popular TV series The 100 (2014), he really didn't know what to expect. It meant using the sword-play that he had learned in medieval fighting classes. He was in a group of 14-year-old and younger who all had brown or black belts. Filming "The 100" only one year after taking an acting camp was surreal for him which went up a couple more notches when he experienced the overwhelming fan response to his character. For The Show (2017), he bravely shaved his head and took on the role of a child with cancer and got to work with Sarah Wayne Callies in a film directed by Giancarlo Esposito.
He also found the time to land three commercials, one of which was as a teen Sasquatch. Apparently his mother did not let him wander around the nearby campgrounds to try to scare campers as it was an area where people practiced target shooting. Guest-starring role on DC's Legends of Tomorrow (2016) was also exciting, because he got to play the young Per Degaton, who just might become one of the most evil super-villains ever. - Caitlin Ashley-Thompson is known for Scream: The TV Series (2015), Supernatural (2005) and Have You Heard About Charlie? Adam has been further nominated for three Awards for his role in Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee (2007) including a Golden Globe. He has put in terrific performances in the comedy film Joe Dirt (2001) and the John Woo World War II war epic Windtalkers (2002) in which he co-starred with Nicolas Cage.

Demore Barnes was a shy student at Sir Oliver Mowat High School in Toronto when some friends cajoled him into hosting the school's Christmas assembly. The performance was a hit, giving Barnes the confidence to try out for Squawk Box, a sketch comedy show on YTV. (Canada's version of Nickelodeon) He was eighteen years old, and it was his first professional audition. He got the job. And the beginning of a career in acting was launched. The show lasted one season, by which time Barnes knew he wanted to pursue acting as a career. He applied to Ryerson University's theatre program, but a successful audition for the CBC kids show," Street Cents", sidetracked his academic aspirations.
He spent the next three seasons on the show doing sketch comedy. "Street Cents" allowed him to hone his comedic talents, but he felt the need to expand his range and challenge himself. For a while, that something else was a series roles in television and movies and cable shows, including a turn as the tribal warrior, Mudo on the nationally syndicated Tia Carrere show," Relic Hunter." Also, in the television movies, "White Lies", with Sarah Polley and Lynn Redgrave, "Second String" starring Jon Voight, "Blackout" with Jane Seymour In less than a year, Barnes was cast as Benjamin Hardaway on "The Associates", and thrust into a media maelstrom. For that role, Demore was nominated for two consecutive years for the Gemini award (Canada's equivalent of Emmy) as Best Lead Actor in a drama series. In addition, Demore was the winner of the BFV and Black Film Award for best performance in a dramatic series.
"The Associates" lasted two seasons, after which Demore he was ready for a big change: moving to Los Angeles It was a tough decision, but it was clear at that point that the roles that Demore was seeking were often cast long before they came to Canada. It was a huge decision for someone with such close ties to family and friends, who loved his career and his country, but the next logical step, nonetheless.
Demore arrived in Los Angeles in January 2003. He fully expected to step off the plane and start working; after all, that was always the case. Everything had fallen into his lap. This was not the case. What did fall into his lap, however, was an opportunity to work with the acting coach Larry Moss. Once again, he was in the right place at the right time. One phone call and he was in. Demore had no idea how extraordinarily difficult it was to be accepted into a class with the man for whom there was always a one year waiting list. For the first time, Demore was having an opportunity to study acting. He studied and waited and believed in himself. As a Canadian with no working papers he had to wait for the right project and the right role.
And then came The Unit. After Demore's first audition for David Mamet, Mamet looked up at him and said, what you just did there is what they call demanding the part. You just demanded that part". Demore's response was decidedly Demore, "Well, I do want the part, David". And the rest as they say, was history.- Actor

Olivia Cheng is a dynamic actress and activist born in Edmonton, Alberta to working class, Cantonese-speaking immigrant parents. It was they who helped co-found the Edmonton Chinese Bilingual Education Association's Mandarin program within the city's public school system to which Olivia credits for her ability to speak Mandarin and instilling in her a reverence for her culture.
She enrolled in her first acting class at age six, and at age 19 she booked her first local commercial. At the height of her journalism career, AMC was launching its original content division and came to Alberta with a Walter Hill- helmed mini-series, executive produced by Robert Duvall. "Broken Trail" gave Olivia the push she needed; she moved to Vancouver and worked as a stringer correspondent for ET Canada, while she pursued her acting career full time.
