Being very excited to watch his newest movie, The Grand Budapest Hotel, I planned to watch all of his filmography as of that time I've only watched one of his movies, The Darjeeling Limited and I fell in love instantly. A hint of vivid color burst here and there, is just lovely. After waiting a while, I finally watched The Grand Budapest Hotel, and like other Anderson's movies, it has his distinctive signature artsy style, but I just didn't find the 'oomph' factor. So I place him here only because of Darjeeling's sake.

Do you realize that Taika is the only one who I mentioned in two lists? Yes, that says a lot about how talented this genius comedic guy is.
His movies somehow evoke similarity to Wes Anderson's to me, but these ones come with the 'oomph' factor. I feel I have found a gem.
