- DirectorDennis DuganStarsAdam SandlerSalma HayekKevin JamesAfter their high school basketball coach passes away, five good friends and former teammates reunite for a Fourth of July holiday weekend. This film is not just an awful film. The producer's should be locked in prison for making you pay to see this. Not one funny joke, not one bit of intelligence or storytelling ability is present. You get the impression that the actors made this film for themselves not for the viewer's entertainment.
Everything I haven't mentioned is satirically stated here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zcFOthNlCtg&feature=c4-overview&list=UUOpcACMWblDls9Z6GERVi1A - DirectorCatherine HardwickeStarsKristen StewartRobert PattinsonBilly BurkeWhen Bella Swan moves to a small town in the Pacific Northwest, she falls in love with Edward Cullen, a mysterious classmate who reveals himself to be a 108-year-old vampire.Another bad movie made for girls... fine. What really gets my blood boiling is how much girls and teens love this movie. It's incomprehensible how THIS can have so many fans. Why is our generation proud of being associated with the most mindless tale of love to ever hit the silver screen.
...and this includes all the other Twilight movies! - DirectorBo WelchStarsMike MyersSpencer BreslinDakota FanningTwo bored children have their lives turned upside down when a talking cat comes to visit them.
- DirectorPeter BergStarsAlexander SkarsgårdBrooklyn DeckerLiam NeesonA fleet of ships is forced to do battle with an armada of unknown origins in order to discover and thwart their destructive goals. This film is a sh*tfest Who's idea was it to take a beloved and simple boardgame about sinking ships and turn it into a horrible mash of summer blockbusters. Seriously, this movie is about transformer aliens that attack naval ships. And it's not just the concept: the plot is entirely cliche.
- DirectorSam MendesStarsDaniel CraigJavier BardemNaomie HarrisJames Bond's loyalty to M is tested when her past comes back to haunt her. When MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost. After Casino Royale received an indisputably inferior sequel, the pressure was on for the next Bond film to outdo it in everyday, especially with the coming of the fiftieth anniversary of Bond.
Still, this film falters. Strangely enough, it corrects all the mistakes made in Quantum, yet screws up everything it did right. For example, the cinematography is absolutely gorgeous and the dialogue feels right, but the plot now makes no sense.
I hate the film because such beautiful and breathtaking visuals are wasted on a film filled with great ideas that were never realized because no one bothered to ask questions while writing the script. - DirectorChristopher NolanStarsChristian BaleTom HardyAnne HathawayEight years after the Joker's reign of chaos, Batman is coerced out of exile with the assistance of the mysterious Selina Kyle in order to defend Gotham City from the vicious guerrilla terrorist Bane. This film leaves a depressed impression on most people who watch it and know their movies and/or comics. This follow-up to the genius of The Dark Knight is anything but worthy.
Such great talent, direction, cinematography, ideas, sets, props, and money are used on one of the most flawed scripts I've ever seen. The plot twists, the ending, and the pacing are unbearable awful. The inconsistency even worse. - DirectorJon FavreauStarsRobert Downey Jr.Mickey RourkeGwyneth PaltrowWith the world now aware of his identity as Iron Man, Tony Stark must contend with both his declining health and a vengeful mad man with ties to his father's legacy. This movie is terrible. Big deal. What adds insult to injury is that it's the sequel to one of the best superhero films ever made. The first film was a tale of redemption with amazing action scenes scattered about. This film is just a massive commercial for The Avengers with one of the most inconhesive plots I've ever witnessed.
The worst part is people actually don't get why this movie sucks. - DirectorRian JohnsonStarsJoseph Gordon-LevittBruce WillisEmily BluntIn 2074, when the mob wants to get rid of someone, the target is sent into the past, where a hired gun awaits - someone like Joe - who one day learns the mob wants to 'close the loop' by sending back Joe's future self for assassination. The film is definitely worth seeing. The movie takes so many risks (like murdering children) which makes you wonder why the crew went for an unsatisfying and inappropriate "happy" ending rather than for the awesome obvious choice that could have made the crowd piss their pants in ecstasy.
Spoiler: which would have been letting the child still becoming the rainmaker, despite the protagonist's sacrifice. - DirectorMarc ForsterStarsDaniel CraigOlga KurylenkoMathieu AmalricJames Bond descends into mystery as he tries to stop a mysterious organisation from eliminating a country's most valuable resource.Casino Royale is without a doubt the best Bond movie in decades. It's a shame the follow-up wasn't very good. While the underlying plot of Quantam of Solace (disregarding the script) was pretty good, the execution in the form of script and filming really takes toll. Action scenes are made of dozens of discombobulating short clips strung together. Secondly, the story relies too much on Casion Royale. If a viewer hasn't seen the first film, they will have absolutely no idea what's going on because this is a direct sequel that never adequately explains the events of the previous film.
Casion Royale was great because it was a reboot that stood on its own. This film suffers because it is completely dependent on its predominant predecessor. - DirectorMarc ForsterStarsBrad PittMireille EnosDaniella KerteszFormer United Nations employee Gerry Lane traverses the world in a race against time to stop a zombie pandemic that is toppling armies and governments and threatens to destroy humanity itself.A weak zombie film and a better than average mindless action film. The reason it makes me angry is because with all it had going for it (directive genius of Marc Forster, the source material, Brad Pitt, and music by Muse) it should have been so much better. It's main fault is it screws up the strong point of most zombie movies: there is no character development. You don't care about anyone surviving. The ending is also more anticlimactic than War of the Worlds.
An average movie destined for greatness. - DirectorJoss WhedonStarsRobert Downey Jr.Chris EvansScarlett JohanssonEarth's mightiest heroes must come together and learn to fight as a team if they are going to stop the mischievous Loki and his alien army from enslaving humanity.Wasn't that bad... but there was little character development and the big battle scene was just all amazing unique superhumans punching a bunch of aliens that no one cared about.
Definitely better than Iron Man 2 and 3 but that doesn't mean much. - DirectorDennis DuganStarsAdam SandlerKatie HolmesAl PacinoFamily guy, Jack Sadelstein, prepares for the annual event he always dreads--the Thanksgiving visit of his fraternal twin sister, the needy, and passive-aggressive Jill, who then refuses to leave.A little worse than what's to be expected of a bad summer comedy.
- DirectorFrank CoraciStarsAdam SandlerKate BeckinsaleChristopher WalkenA workaholic architect finds a universal remote that allows him to fast-forward and rewind to different parts of his life. Complications arise when the remote starts to overrule his choices.Such a great idea and the first half of the movie had potential to be okay. But then the plot becomes a mess.
- DirectorJoel SchumacherStarsArnold SchwarzeneggerGeorge ClooneyChris O'DonnellBatman and Robin try to keep their relationship together even as they must stop Mr. Freeze and Poison Ivy from freezing Gotham City. This film is entertaining solely through its many, many, many faults. This film features the worst script I've ever heard, some of the worst acting in the world from great actors and actresses, and too many one-liners to bear.
The good news is it's still entertaining and I recommend the movie to anyone who knows what they are getting themselves into. - DirectorSam RaimiStarsTobey MaguireKirsten DunstTopher GraceA strange black entity from another world bonds with Peter Parker and causes inner turmoil as he contends with new villains, temptations, and revenge.Spider-Man 3, but more importantly Sony, makes me angry. Sony stopped Raimi from making another beautiful take on Spider-Man by forcing him to create a film with three villains.
