In 2016 Sima opened the doors to her very own Art Gallery and showcasing her art in the world famous Art Basel Miami You can see more of her work at www.simafisherartgallery.com In 2016 she wrote many new songs to contribute to her upcoming album set for release in 2017- See Sima Fisher Music In 2016 Sima Shot her "I Remember" Music Video on the sunny beaches of Florida In 2015 Sima Aapeared in Arsenio Hall Show acting with Bill Bellamy In 2014 she wrote, and acted all 4 parts of her hilarious website comedy "Women Who Dance"
Included in her past accolades is a spot on the Much Music's coveted artist directory, a principle role in the upcoming Murdoch Mysteries, and a growing presence in New York City's legendary art world. Sima's natural beauty has also won her several beauty titles including Miss Toronto and being featured as a Sunshine Girl in the Toronto Sun. All of this and the opportunity to collaborate with the likes of Simon Wilcox on her new album have brought Sima to the cusp where her past will meet her very bright future on the main stage.
Sima's story began growing up in a large family in Cambridge, Ontario and then Milton where she won several awards in high school for her athleticism and top grades. This led her to study Fitness and Health in College and go on to work as a fitness instructor and entertainer for Club Med. After getting her first taste of working in an entertainment capacity, Sima decided to train as an actress and singer.
Sima began singing with her father at the age of five and learned vocals through practicing at home and joining a specialty choir in grade school. She went on to study vocal technique at Voices Company with Bill Vincent and in 2008 enjoyed recognition on Much Music for her 2008 dance single "Give a Little Love" which has ranked her among their current online artist catalog: much music dot com! Sima also admits to being "pretty good" at vibrato and singing Amy Winehouse type songs...and includes in her repertoire the album "Back to Black". She also likes to practice to Sarah McLachlan, the Beatles, Bob Marley and Sarah Harmer.
Sima counts adult contemporary style songs along with writing music as one of her biggest passions. At the tender age of seven, Sima began writing songs with her sister "for fun" only to grow further by working with many talented musicians. Working with Simon Wilcox, for example, as a co-writer on her new album (set for release in 2012) came about via her Sima's work with producer Peter Prilesnik on the album City Lights. Already being a fan of Simons' work made for an inspirational experience for Sima who also grew up listening to similar artists like Sarah Harmer and Sarah Slean. Earlier on in her career during her time at Club Med, Sima also had the opportunity to worked with the producer of the Club Med Song "Hands Up", Eddie Bullen, on the song "Make u Sweat".
The new songs she wrote with Simon are "Torn in Two", "I Remember", and "Small"; a song about growing up and the memory of her reminding her to come in when the streetlights came on. The new sound is a shift away from the old pop sound with a mellow and somewhat somber adult contemporary flavor. She has named the album "City Lights" and describes it as having more of a Canadian sound than her previous work.
In terms of performing live, Sima not only loves to sing but also to dance on stage and often works with backing dancers, singers, and a DJ. Her talents and ambition have led her to perform in venues across Canada, the U.S. and Australia. Some of these include Club Good Hurt, BB Kings, Universal City Walk, Fes Do Do in Los Angeles and El Mocambo, The Operahouse and Palais Royale in Toronto. Sima built a loyal following while touring Los Angeles County doing all original music shows and selling albums following every performance. While in Australia, Sima performed several open Mic nights which led to serious talks with record labels. Inevitably, Sima decided to instead return to Canada as her trip down under was meant only to be a short stop...much to her delight it led to amazing things and further inspiration for her music.
Sima defines herself as an artist in the truest sense and having many creative outlets that includes singing, acting, dancing, and painting. Her acting career took flight when she returned from Australia and enrolled in both acting classes at Equity Showcase,Pro Actors Lab and film acting at EVN Studios. Sima honed her acting technique by doing independent and student films which, to her amazement, led to work in many feature films. Since then, she has landed roles in movies and TV shows and has not only attracted the attention of the industry but also built an impressive catalog of work that includes some of the most memorable titles the world has seen. She can also be seen in print ads for fashion designers in New York City and Los Angeles where she continues to travel to. Her weekly schedule may look something like a scatter brained artist...One day she might be on a Canadian film set, the next on the stage of Tattoo Rock Parlour singing with a bunch of different indie artists, another day shell just stay home painting for 12 hours whole doing vocal practice and cooking healthy meals... Auditioning for roles in major TV programs and Motion Pictures, and can be seen playing the role of Abigail Tunstall in Murdoch Mysteries.- Actor

Christy Canyon is in both the AVN Hall of Fame and the XRCO Hall of Fame, and also received a Free Speech Coalition Award. Christy grew up and attended schools in the San Fernando Valley area of Los Angeles County. Her father was of Armenian descent and her mother of Italian descent. Christy was discovered and represented by the famous Jim South. She has been rated by AVN and most critics as one of the top 20 porn actresses of all time. Christy entered the industry in the golden age of pornography, and performed early scenes with such greats as Ginger Lynn and Ron Jeremy. She debuted about the same time as Traci Lords and Christy, Ginger and Traci were the three top female porn stars of the time. After the "Traci Lords" underage scandal, Christy stated that she never suspected that Traci was not of legal age, as she seemed so experienced in their scenes. Christy's first stint making films lasted from 1984 through 1986, when she left to join her father's business, but her films continued to be released during her "retirement". She returned in 1989 working with Video Exclusives on her label Canyon Video, before joining Vivid as one of their contract girls, following in the tradition of the large movie studios' contract stars. Although she stopped making films in 1997, compilations and re-issues continue to be sold. Since retiring from films, she continued to dance until 2001. Christy's autobiography was released in 2003 and continues to sell well at Amazon, eBay and other sites. Christy also established a career as a television and radio personality, as host of Playboy Radio's "Night Calls" on Sirius. She subsequently broadcast on Spice Radio, Radio Sex and since 2014 on Vivid Radio, all carried by Sirius/XM and on the Internet. Unlike Traci and others who have tried to forget their porn pasts, Christy is proud of her body of work, and maintains an active presence in the industry, on eBay and ABIBIDS, and operating her website. Wanting to give back to the industry she loves so much, she offers advice and counsel to aspiring new entrants to the adult industry.- Nikki Nova is most known publicly, for her lengthy modeling career, years on Playboy TV (as a TV host for NC 411 & several guest appearances on other Playboy TV shows) as well as a B movie star. She is still involved in the Entertainment industry, but is now more fastidious about the job/jobs she takes (due to her additional career/focus in integrative medicine, writing).
Nichole "Nikki" was born in Hampton, Virginia. Her parents divorced when she was about 2 yrs old. Due to her father's job in law enforcement, she lived with her mother. Her father lost his life during a shooting, just before her 11th birthday. Things at home with her mother/stepfather were strained. She escaped from it into art, music and films. She attributes the arts with saving her, at a young age She attended & graduated from Phoebus high school, where she was voted Homecoming Queen. After high school, she moved to Los Angeles. She'd never been there, knew no one, sold her car for airfare & her1st month's rent, and proceeded to move in with 3 complete strangers. She was very happy in California. She claims that moving to California was one of the best decisions she's ever made.
Upon her move out west, she was originally attending design school. She soon realized that it was not for her. She loved the creative aspect of design, but disliked the industry itself. The combination of that & the fact that she couldn't afford to keep paying the tuition, led to her decisions to leave school. Shortly after leaving design school, she was discovered in a nightclub (by a photographer from Paris) while out with some friends. He shot her for a couple of different French entertainment/fashion magazines ,as well as the debut issue of an American magazine. That layout in the American magazine was more editorial/erotic in nature. She was then scooped up by famed erotic photographer Suze Randall, and her unplanned career snowballed from there. She went on to be one of the industry's top erotic models, and has been repeatedly published in just about every major men's magazine. She has also starred in several "B" movies & videos. In addition, Nikki hosted a show for Playboy TV for several years, called Night Calls 411 (as well as appearing on other PBTV shows prior to that). She also performed in a live comedy show called "The Red Light Comedy District" that toured the various California Improv comedy clubs.
As far as her "off camera" work, she's written for a variety of magazines (under various pen names) & is also currently working on her first book.
Shortly before the new year in 2006, Nikki suffered a nearly fatal TBI from a horse accident (on the set of job). She was forcefully thrown from the horse, landing head first on some rocks. Her skull was broken upon impact, and she suffered multiple brain hematoma's. When the paramedics arrived on scene, they told others present (friends/coworkers) that she was not going to survive the drive to the hospital. She was then air lifted & flown to the trauma unit of the closest hospital suited for her type of injuries. Upon arrival Nikki was medically induced into a coma, in an effort to control the bleeding & effectively save her life. Her friends/coworkers that were there at the hospital during this time, were told that it did not look good for her. She was originally not expected to live. To everyone's surprise, thankfully she did survive. There was still a very lengthy recovery after that though, lasting several years & leaving her with some permanent disabilities & other health issues.
Just after that nearly fatal brain trauma, she was forced to leave the entertainment industry for a while. It took her years to recover & she was temporarily, quite seriously mentally handicapped (particularly in those first few years). During that time she was unfortunately targeted by various predator's (financial and otherwise). One of those unscrupulous people in particular, was very exploitative about what he did to her. That incident (along with the stress from the others) is the main reason that she initially became incredibly private & changed her degree of accessibility by the public. All of that (combined with a very serious stalker situation) is what led to her to begin taking steps toward a new and/or additional path for herself.
Her stalker situation escalated & the FBI took on her stalker case. It was learned through their investigation that it was a stranger. He was an obsessed fan, that learned of her accident when it was put on the news. As Nichole "Nikki" quickly learned & said "When you're a known individual, I guess you have no right to privacy". What the FBI learned (aside from who the individual was) was that he was seemingly a very mentally disturbed individual, who also happened to have a great deal of education/knowledge of Criminology (legal loopholes) & was a gifted hacker. The combination of these things, is how he was able to evade capture. This situation went on for at least 12 years, forcing her into hiding and seclusion.
During her time in hiding, she decided to go back to school (for Integrative Medicine) where she's gained several certifications. She has been certified as an A. E. teacher (Energy work, similar to Reiki but w/ Native American techniques) since 2014. She's also CHT since 2017 & an Herbalist since 2022.
The journey continues.... - Born in the Ukraine but raised in Toronto, Canada, Nikki Benz was a top figure and calendar model before becoming an exotic dancer. She had always had an interest in the adult-film industry, and one day just decided to give it a try. She made her first adult film in 2002, liked it, and has stayed in the business ever since.

Kevin Smith called her an American Pop Icon and John Waters called her the ultimate bad girl. While her early notoriety brought her international fame, her determination, grit, and talent have garnered her respect in many areas of the entertainment industry. She has appeared in dozens of films and television shows such as Roger Corman's cult classic Not of This Earth, John Water's Crybaby, Marvel's Blade, Kevin Smith's Zack and Miri Make a Porno, to the award-winning Excision; from Melrose Place, Roseanne, Will & Grace to series regular roles on NBC's Profiler and Syfy's First Wave. Her memoir Traci Lords Underneath It All (HarperCollins) was a NY Times Bestseller, and her pioneering techno album 1000 Fires topped the Billboard Dance Chart and was featured on both the Mortal Combat and Virtuosity soundtracks earning double platinum status. Lords is an award-winning voice over artist and has a vintage inspired line of clothing. In 2020, she made her stage debut as Gloria in the revival of Tom Eyen's cult classic Women Behind Bar which is now streaming on Broadway World.
Lords is an Ohio native born to Patricia and Louis Kuzma. Young Nora Louise Kuzma spent her early days in rural Steubenville, Ohio shuttled between her divorced parent's houses. It was then that her mother began a relationship with a man named Roger Hayes and relocated to Southern California. Teenage Nora missed her father terribly and began to treat Roger as a father figure. Her mother eventually realized that Roger was not the man she had thought he was and ended the relationship but left Nora in Roger's care, claiming she was overwhelmed and couldn't provide for the teenager. In Traci's memoir Underneath It All, she states that Roger groomed her for nude modeling and sex trafficked her at that time. Porn agent Jim South has confirmed in various interviews that it was Roger Hayes who brought the 15-year-old to his office in Van Nuys, California in 1984. Armed with a fake ID, no one questioned the stunning woman-child who signed on as a figure model which eventually led to adult films. With her rebellious attitude and stunning looks, she shot to stardom quickly in the X-rated world.
In May 1986, the Traci Lords story broke. The media had a field day with the tale of the troubled bad girl who tricked the porn world. The FBI questioned Lords and announced that because she was a minor, she was not responsible and that all films that featured her must be destroyed. Lords was never arrested or charged with any crimes but was punished in other ways. She was forced to pay estimated taxes on her purported income. And has faced years of criticism and ridicule because of her history in adult movies but eventually carved an impressive body of work in mainstream Hollywood where she continues to thrive today. Radio talk show host, "reality" TV host, film and TV producer, former high-fashion model, popular pin-up girl, actress and spokes model... Samantha ("Sam") Phillips is a 20 year veteran of the entertainment industry and a highly sought after radio and TV personality as the host of, "The Single Life with Sam Phillips" (2009); formerly a radio show on 97.1 FM Talk (2004-2009), now a 26 episode series airing on the premium HD cable network Mav TV (2009).
Sam began her mainstream hosting career in 2001 with the breakout hit show Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus (2000), the relationship television series from Columbia Tri-Star. The show was billed as "The talk show that gets men and women to really talk!" and Sam was the co-host who would do the embarrassing demonstration, try the unknown or ask the question everyone was thinking but not saying. As the host of Xtreme Fakeovers (2005), (XFO) on PAX-TV, Sam and professional Hollywood make-up artist, Kevin Yagher transformed everyday people via prosthetics, body padding and elaborate special effects make-up (a la Mrs. Doubtfire (1993)) into a totally new person and then pulled elaborate hidden-camera pranks on their unsuspecting family family and friends (a la Punk'd (2003)). It was the everyday people practical joke show with the super bonus of Hollywood special effects.
Sam's radio career began at Xtra Sports Radio on "The Big Show with Steve Mason and John Ireland" (1998), which was also simulcast on Fox Sports West II. For the past decade 97.1 FM Talk has been Sam's radio home and in that time she's hosted 19 different shows. She's widely known as the modern day Dear Abby on the radio, except Sam's the cooler, hipper, hotter version. Speaking of hot, Sam's Penthouse Magazine Centerfold for June 1993 was published in more countries than any other Pet's. At the time, Bob Guccione predicted on his editors page that Sam's issue would become a collectors edition.
Sam got her experience for hosting from previous reporting, guest hosting and celebrity guest appearances on numerous shows, including a three year stint on Playboy Channel's "Sexcetera" (1998-2000), Red Eye w/Tom Shillue (2007), Strictly Sex with Dr. Drew (2005), The Test (2001), CBS' The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn (1999), FX Network, "The Howard Stern Show" (2004), "The Joan Rivers Show" (1995), "Jenny Jones" (1995),"The Maury Povich Show" (1994), "Hard Copy" (1994), "Inside Edition" (1996), "Extra" (1996), "Entertainment Tonight" (1996), and HBO. She has also been cast in a slew of music videos, including ones for ''Weird Al' Yankovic', 'Van Halen', Amy Grant, Mötley Crüe, Simply Red, Scorpions, The Doobie Brothers, Dave Koz, Iron Maiden, Jeff Foxworthy and Alice Cooper, to name a few.
Sam has also hosted and emceed many public events including "ASYM's 14th, 15th, and 16th Annual Spring and Benefit Awards Show" (2006-2009), "ASYM's 2nd - 6th Annual Hollywood Live Music Showcase" (2005-2009), "The Prism Awards" (2006), "The Diversity Awards" (2005-2006), "The Singles Festival (2003), "Your Night of Stars at Edwards Air Force Base" (2001), "Wilmington's Most Wanted Charity Event" (2001), and several years of "The Best of L.A. Festival" (1998-2000). Sam co-created and hosted the popular "Improv's Red Light Comedy District" (2002-2005), and she is famous for producing all the campy, T&A "Busty Cops" films that star all her centerfold friends and have a large fan following.
Her first gig as a leading lady in a motion picture came in London in 1987. Love Potion (1987) was the brainchild of Monty Python alumni Graham Chapman (writer, producer) and Julian Doyle (director). Sam enjoyed acting so she moved to Los Angeles, where she became a film veteran, having acted in over 40 movies. She has starred in Deceit (1990), Phantasm II (1988), Angel 4: Undercover (1994), The Other Man (1994) and Fallen Angel (1997), and has appeared in Weekend at Bernie's II (1993), Spy Hard (1996) and Rescue Me (1992), among many others. Born in San Diego, California, Betsy Russell is best known for her starring role as "Jill Tuck," the ex-wife of the Jigsaw Killer in the "Saw" film series. Russell was born into a family of educators--her father, iconic economist Richard Russell, wrote a news letter about the stock market for over 50 years called "Dow Theory Letters," and her grandfather, Max Lerner, was an author and syndicated columnist, said to be one of the great minds of our time. Russell seemed to be destined for greatness and decided to set the bar high for herself when making career moves and setting goals. At 16 years of age she landed her first real gig in the business, a Pepsi commercial in her hometown of San Diego, California. This sparked a fire within her, and she immediately made the move to Los Angeles to pursue acting full time.
Russell landed her first TV role on the series The Powers of Matthew Star (1982) with one line. After that TV roles began to pour in, until she landed an audition for a film that would change her career: the cult classic Private School (1983). She booked the role on the spot, being cast as "Jordon Leigh-Jensen," playing opposite her idol Phoebe Cates. The film launched Russell into Hollywood stardom, and she quickly became known as the "it-girl". Her scene riding a horse topless in slow motion made her an '80s icon. She continued to work steadily in film, starring in such films as Tomboy (1985), Avenging Angel (1985) and Cheerleader Camp (1988), and did guest-starring roles in such top-rated television series as The A-Team (1983), T.J. Hooker (1982) and Family Ties (1982). At the height of her career she met actor and tennis star Vincent Van Patten at The Playboy Mansion, where she visited frequently as her grandfather was a close friend of Hugh Hefner. Van Patten and Russell married in 1989 and had two beautiful boys. She decided to take a hiatus from acting, to focus on her family and raising her children.
Van Patten and Russell divorced in 2001, and she decided to move to Malibu, California, to continue raising her family. Soon after her divorce she received a call from "Saw" producer Mark Burg about an upcoming role in the series. Russell jumped at the opportunity to work in one of the biggest horror franchises in the history of film, and returned to the screen starring as "Jill Tuck" in Lionsgate and Twisted Pictures' Saw III (2006), Saw IV (2007), Saw V (2008), Saw VI (2009) and Saw 3D (2010).
Russell is an avid writer, has a huge passion for various charities, she holds a real-estate license and is a certified hypnotist. While she continues to love acting, she considers "Spiritual Psychology" and life coaching her other passion. She completed a three-year Masters program at The University of Santa Monica in this field, with an emphasis on consciousness health and healing, and hopes to help others with healing their issues and learning communication skills and has begun teaching workshops to actors on this subject.- Actress

Born in Rockford, Illinois, on December 14, 1962, Ginger Lynn Allen went to California in 1982 to visit her ill grandfather. She decided to stay and found employment as a manager at a Musicland record store in Redlands. She had lived in a trailer in one of the worst parts of the city for almost a year when she answered an ad for figure models. This led to employment the same day and a layout in Penthouse magazine. Work in the adult-film industry soon followed. She worked in the industry from December 1983 through February 1986, making a total of 69 films (plus countless re-issues and compilations). She retired, partially because the work was no longer fun and she had very little time off. That same year, she was approached by the FBI to testify on behalf of Traci Lords, who had just been exposed as having been underage during her years in the adult-film industry. She refused and was eventually arrested for tax evasion. Following her years in adult movies, she appeared in many "legit" films throughout the late 1980s and 1990s-- most notably the "Vice Academy" films. She also starred in Metallica's music video "Turn the Page." She has a son, who she gave birth to on March 24, 1996. She tours gentlemen's clubs around the country, and signed a comeback deal with VCA Pictures in 1999. She has starred in four new adult movies so far: Torn (1999), White Lightning (2000), New Wave Hookers 6 (2000) and Taken (2001).- Actress

Raye Hollitt was born on 17 April 1964 in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, USA. She is an actress and editor, known for Hot Shots! Part Deux (1993), Skin Deep (1989) and The Last Hour (1991).- When we think of the term "worse for wear," somehow provocative images of 39-26-37 Edwina Beth Williams (better known as Edy Williams) and her outrageous apparel at film festivals and award shows instantly stand out in one's mind. You have to admit that this wild child, who has now come into her seventies (born on July 9, 1941), can never be accused of being a shrinking violet or not giving her all to her chosen profession.
Born in Salt Lake City, Utah, this courageous perennial starlet grew up in all sorts of ways in southern California. She first began her career chasing after modeling work with local photographers while in her teens and has not slowed down since. An undeniably fetching and voluptuous presence, she was the recipient of several California beauty titles which led to her eventual signing by 20th Century-Fox in the early 1960s.
Known for her untamed chestnut hair, she displayed her talents initially with taunting, decorative roles in such pictures as For Love or Money (1963), Man's Favorite Sport? (1964), A House Is Not a Home (1964) (in which she and fellow glamazon Raquel Welch played call girls), The Naked Kiss (1964), the Elvis Presley musical Paradise, Hawaiian Style (1966) and Nevada Smith (1966) starring Steve McQueen. Television utilized her as sexy scenery or a vapid foil on such series as The Twilight Zone (1959), The Beverly Hillbillies (1962), Burke's Law (1963) and Batman (1966).
In her more mainstream prime, Edy earned second-femme lead status next to James Farentino, Julie Sommars and Brian Bedford in the teasing comedy The Pad (and How to Use It) (1966) and Walter Matthau and Anne Jackson in The Secret Life of an American Wife (1968), but things changed big-time once she associated with producer-director Russ Meyer, her mentor-turned-husband. She was displayed front-and-center as a predatory porn star in his campy softcore erotica Beyond the Valley of the Dolls (1970) and The Seven Minutes (1971), but in the end he failed to make her anything but a cult figure.
She and Meyer divorced in 1975, and since then she has been more or less promoting herself. The notorious publicity hound who could make even Jayne Mansfield wince a little, Edy has made annual cheesecake appearances (not usually in a positive way), opting for jaw-dropping bordello-chic formal wear to get the flashbulbs popping at entertainment events. Her scanty gowns have earned her numerous worst-dressed awards from here to Timbuktu. In later years, she has occasionally departed exploitation with roles in such films as Chained Heat (1983), Lady Lust (1984), Hollywood Hot Tubs (1984), Nudity Required (1989), Bad Girls from Mars (1990) and Snatch Masters 6 (1995). You have to give her credit or praise, Edy Williams certainly succeeded her way. - Actress

In 2010, she made the decision to follow her dream; Yanelba resigned from her full-time position, applied to a part-time position and registered for a 3-month acting workshop. She officially started her acting career in August 2010.
Yanelba has taken part in national and local commercials, films, and TV shows. Yanelba has also performed in three plays, one in which participated in a Latino theatre festival in NYC, where she received two Best Lead Actress nominations (2011). - Phyllis Davis was one of the loveliest faces in Hollywood during the late 60s-early 80s. She grew up in Nederland, Texas. The family lived on the second floor of her parents' mortuary business. Phyllis and her two younger brothers learnt how to be quiet during services, as the floors would creak. Phyllis attended Lamar College briefly, then went to Los Angeles in the mid-'60s to pursue a career in film and TV. She attended acting classes at the Pasadena Playhouse. Phyllis' first break began with small parts in Elvis Presley movies. Love, American Style (1969) were holding auditions for the show. 200 actresses had already been tested and rejected. Phyllis put on a bathing suit and was hired on the spot. After a five season run with Love, American Style (1969), Phyllis started to get some small movie roles. Phyllis was hired - and actually signed a contract, for the James Bond film, Diamonds Are Forever (1971), only to be told shortly afterwards the producers had dropped her, and hired Lana Wood to replace her. Still, Phyllis received residual checks for the film, as she had a signed contract. She had a chance encounter with Candy Spelling, wife ofAaron Spelling, who was then casting for a new TV series called, Vega$ (1978). Phyllis got the role of Beatrice, or Bea, for the series' run. After working on a regular series, Phyllis appeared in a few Aaron Spelling made-for-TV movies. Sadly, Phyllis kept her battle with cancer extremely private,, and after her passing away in 2013, there was some confusion as to which 'Phyllis Davis'had died.

Dominique DuVernay was born on "4/20" in New Orleans, La. She is most noted for her role as Brittany on the Emmy nominated ALLBLK series "A House Divided." In 2020 she won a HAPA award for best supporting actress in a digital series for this role.
One of the biggest questions that are always raised regarding Dominique is what her ethnic background is. This New Orleans native is authentically Creole with a splash of Latina. She is African American, Nicaraguan & French. Dominique and her younger sister were raised by a single mother and between the ages of 7 and 15 she and her family moved back and forth between New Orleans and the Bay Area until they settled back home in New Orleans for good. Dominique was no military brat but had her fair share of relocating growing up. She attended a whopping total of 23 schools from kindergarten through 12th grade in both Louisiana and California. Her unique childhood which also comprised of sometimes living in battered women and homeless shelters on occasion contributed to her fascination with various kinds of people, characters, accents, languages, anything that had to do with communication and varying personalities and as a child she would create different characters, give them all different accents, and taught herself a great deal of Spanish. She was a shy child but her mother, knowing her hidden talents and interests nudged her sign up for a role in the church play at the age of 14 and that's were she got bit by the acting bug.
Upon graduating high school she began her full pursuit of acting and has never looked back. Dominique has had appearances in films such as the RZA's "Cut Throat City" and 50 Cent's "Freelancers" as well as shows such as "The Game," "Claws," and so much more. She is also a mother of two beautiful daughters and gives full to glory to God for all of her success on and off screen and looks forward to her continued blessings and flourishing career.- Shera grew up in the small French town of Kapuskasing, Ontario, the same hometown as director James Cameron. She moved to Toronto at the age of 18 to pursue a modeling career. In her years as a model she worked with many notable photographers such as Marcus Klinko, George Whiteside, Ian Cuttler, and rock-star turned photog Bryan Adams. She also worked with director and part-time photographer Andrew Thomas Hunt, who was immediately taken by her on-camera presence.
While conceiving the character of Karma, Andrew realized that Shera was a natural choice for the role, despite her having no previous acting experience. Her audition then solidified Andrew's hunch. Although at first reluctant to take on such a demanding role, Shera quickly rose to the challenge. She took acting lessons, studied martial arts, learned how to handle a variety of weapons, and took a weekend workshop in the fine art of pole dancing. The end result speaks for itself, Shera is as captivating in motion pictures as she is in stills. But don't expect to see Shera rush into her next film project, because unlike many women her age she has no desire to be a star. As such, Karma may not just be Shera's first-ever acting role, it may possibly be her only one. - Actress

Cleveland native Mary Carey was born into what could be charitably called a dysfunctional family. Both of her parents were mentally handicapped (her mother had been diagnosed as a schizophrenic) and she was taken away from her parents by her grandparents when she was three months old. After her parents divorced, her mother moved in with Mary and her grandparents. At seven years of age the family moved from Cleveland to Florida, and the next year Mary was legally adopted by her grandparents.
Mary continued in Florida with the dance lessons she had started taking in Cleveland, and was a straight-A student in school. Her stage debut occurred at 12 years of age when she performed "The Nutcracker" with the Miami City Ballet, and she was bitten hard by the performing bug. Her dancing skills were honed by attendance at a prestigious dance school, and she was being offered dance scholarships from many different institutions. Then, at age 16, her grandfather developed lung cancer and died within a few months. Her grandmother's Parkinson's Disease worsened, and on top of that her body began to develop and she no longer had the thin body considered desirable for a ballerina. She was told to lose weight and get a breast reduction, but instead decided to leave ballet altogether and tried out for and won a place on the dance team at Florida State University, where she was enrolled. In the meantime her grandmother's health deteriorated even further, and soon their financial situation became precarious. In order to keep their head above water, Mary looked around for a job that could pay the kind of money they needed, and found a job as a model on an adult Internet site. From there she landed a job as a stripper. She saw that the strippers who commanded the big money were the featured girls, and an agent told her that the best way to become a featured stripper was to get a following doing porn. She traveled to Los Angeles and made the rounds of the adult-film producers and studios, eventually landing a job with Playboy TV.
Just prior to the recall campaign against California Governor Gray Davis, Mary signed a contract with Kick Ass Pictures, and as a publicity gag they came up with the idea that Mary should enter the field of a dozen or so candidates trying to replace Davis, so she soon publicly declared her intention to run for governor. The stunt worked out far better than they had hoped for, as Mary's bubbly personality and sense of humor about herself, her profession and the campaign itself - not to mention her beauty - endeared her to the California public. Although some political pundits wrote her off as a joke, her "campaign" received extensive coverage in the statewide media and she drew enthusiastic crowds at her appearances. Although she didn't win the election, she did manage to garner more than 11,000 votes. After the election Mary continued to turn out videos, which continue to sell well, and she is, besides Jenna Jameson, one of the porn stars most recognized by the general public.- For fourteen years, she said that family was the most important thing to her and she set most of her time aside to be a "present" mother to her son. Movies, plays and television were chosen, for the most part, when they occurred in town or on a school break. She took one year to homeschool her son for his seventh grade. But it wasn't always this way. She was raised in New York City and wanted to be an actress from the time she was a child, graduating with acting honors from the High School of Performing Arts. She chose to opt out of studying acting in college and attended a small college in Europe, majoring in art history and literature, knowing that acting would take up a great deal of her life and that her college years would be her only real time to learn about something else. Upon graduation, she returned to New York City but a chance trip to Chicago inspired her to move there and become a part of its budding theatre community. It was in a production of "Curse of The Starving Class", directed by Robert Falls and co-starring John Malkovich, that she was first seen by the Steppenwolf Theatre Company and, subsequently, asked to join their troupe. She did and learned what it really was to be an actress on her feet, performing in all kinds of roles in both comedy and drama. During this time, she won four Joseph Jefferson awards for best supporting actress.
With a return move to New York, she received a Theatre World Award for "best newcomer" for her role in "the Philanthropist" at the Manhattan Theatre Club and appeared in "Extremities" with Susan Sarandon. This was followed by her appearance in the very successful Steppenwolf production in New York of "Balm in Gilead". She then starred on Broadway opposite Kevin Kline and Raul Julia in "Arms & the Man", directed by John Malkovich, her husband at the time. She was cast in several smaller films including Nadine (1987), Making Mr. Right (1987) and Paperhouse (1988) as well as Lonesome Dove (1989) for television for which she received her first of two Emmy nominations for best supporting actress. But her breakout film performance was in Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (1988), in which she played the cunning "victim", who gets the best of con artists Michael Caine and Steve Martin. This led to her being cast in the blockbuster comic strip parody, Dick Tracy (1990), in which she portrayed the girlfriend, "Tess Trueheart", to Warren Beatty's lead.
She went on to appear in the films Mr. Holland's Opus (1995) opposite Richard Dreyfuss, Mortal Thoughts (1991) opposite Demi Moore, 2 Days in the Valley (1996), What's the Worst That Could Happen? (2001), Breakfast of Champions (1999), Around the Bend (2004) and Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen (2004).
On television, she had a recurring part on ER (1994) and Monk (2002) and was in the short-lived sit-com Encore! Encore! (1998) with Nathan Lane and Joan Plowright. She was in the live theatrical presentation of "On Golden Pond" as the troubled daughter of Christopher Plummer and Julie Andrews and also appeared in the telefilms Women vs. Men (2002), My Own Country (1998) and Pronto (1997), among others. She received her second Emmy nomination for best supporting actress for Bastard Out of Carolina (1996), directed by Anjelica Huston.
Some of her later appearances were in the films The Amateurs (2005) (aka "The Amateurs"), The Namesake (2006), Comeback Season (2006), Kit Kittredge: An American Girl (2008) and The Joneses (2009).
