As he grows up, he finds a way to remember these lost memories and a supernatural way to alter his life by reading his journal. This one was the first movie I saw this year. I was up north at my grandma's, and it was New Year's night. OK movie, I don't remember much.
May 30th - DirectorAlfonso CuarónStarsSandra BullockGeorge ClooneyEd HarrisDr Ryan Stone, an engineer on her first time on a space mission, and Matt Kowalski, an astronaut on his final expedition, have to survive in space after they are hit by debris while spacewalking. When I got back home I watched this peace of *beep*
May 30th - DirectorJames L. BrooksStarsReese WitherspoonPaul RuddOwen WilsonAfter being cut from the U.S.A. softball team and feeling a bit past her prime, Lisa finds herself evaluating her life and in the middle of a love triangle, as a corporate guy in crisis competes with her current, baseball-playing beau. This one was on TV. A worse than average romantic comedy. I don't like Reese Witherspoon. Bad director, too.
May 30th - DirectorJames WanStarsPatrick WilsonRose ByrneBarbara HersheyThe Lamberts believe that they have defeated the spirits that have haunted their family, but they soon discover that evil is not beaten so easily.I had seen the first Insidious before Christmas with my friends, so we decided to watch this. Better than the first one though. I really recommend these if you're looking for some scary movies.
May 30th - DirectorFrancis LawrenceStarsJennifer LawrenceJosh HutchersonLiam HemsworthKatniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark become targets of the Capitol after their victory in the 74th Hunger Games sparks a rebellion in the Districts of Panem. So this was January 7th, the first theater trip of the year. A small disappointment moviewise, but it was fun watching it with my friends.
May 30th - DirectorTodd PhillipsStarsBen StillerOwen WilsonSnoop DoggTwo streetwise cops bust criminals in their red and white Ford Gran Torino, with the help of a police snitch called "Huggy Bear".*** This must've just been on the TV some night, I can't really recall watching this. It's funny, yeah.***
May 30th - DirectorClint EastwoodStarsClint EastwoodBee VangChristopher CarleyAfter a Hmong teenager tries to steal his prized 1972 Gran Torino, a disgruntled, prejudiced Korean War veteran seeks to redeem both the boy and himself.I had wanted to see this for a long time, didn't disappoint. I love Clint Eastwood. Watch this!

- DirectorJoe JohnstonStarsChris EvansHugo WeavingSamuel L. JacksonSteve Rogers, a rejected military soldier, transforms into Captain America after taking a dose of a "Super-Soldier serum". But being Captain America comes at a price as he attempts to take down a warmonger and a terrorist organization. The only avenger worse than him is Jeremy Renner.
May 30th - DirectorChristopher LandonStarsAndrew JacobsJorge DiazGabrielle WalshWhen a young man becomes the target of a malevolent entity, he must uncover its true intentions before it takes complete control of him.January 14th, in the cinema. This was bad, I don't really know what I expected from a Paranormal spinoff.
May 30th - DirectorChristopher NolanStarsGuy PearceCarrie-Anne MossJoe PantolianoA man with short-term memory loss attempts to track down his wife's murderer. One of the highlights of the year. A masterpiece, I really started digging Nolan after this.
May 30th - DirectorPeter MarkleStarsRob LoweCynthia GibbPatrick SwayzeA 17 year old farm boy is offered an ice hockey tryout. His brother drives him to Canada. He has fast legs, slow fists, but is chosen. Will he learn to use his fists and play ice hockey the Canuck way? Will he get the coach's cute daughter? This has cult movie potential. Hockey fans will enjoy laughing at the horrible parts depicting the game. I bet this was a low(e) point for Rob Lowe, Patrick Swayze on the other hand is amazing, apparently it has nothing to do with how bad the movie is. Spot Keanu!
May 30th - DirectorPeter JacksonStarsIan McKellenMartin FreemanRichard ArmitageThe dwarves, along with Bilbo Baggins and Gandalf the Grey, continue their quest to reclaim the Lonely Mountain, their homeland, from the dragon Smaug.***For the third time since the premiere (when I saw it the first time), January 18th.***
May 30th - DirectorFrank MillerQuentin TarantinoRobert RodriguezStarsMickey RourkeClive OwenBruce WillisAn exploration of the dark and miserable Basin City and three of its residents, all of whom are caught up in violent corruption. One of the best movies I've seen. Not many comic-based movies hit it home, this one did.
May 30th - DirectorMary HarronStarsChristian BaleJustin TherouxJosh LucasA wealthy New York City investment banking executive, Patrick Bateman, hides his alternate psychopathic ego from his co-workers and friends as he delves deeper into his violent, hedonistic fantasies.A good one, Christian Bale is one of the better actors of our time.
May 30th - DirectorDavid ZuckerStarsTrey ParkerMatt StoneDian BacharTwo childhood friends are pro athletes of a national sport called BASEketball, a hybrid of baseball and basketball, and must deal with a greedy businessman scheming against their team.***This was about the twentieth time I watched this, still golden.***
May 30th - DirectorFede AlvarezStarsJane LevyShiloh FernandezJessica LucasFive friends head to a remote cabin, where the discovery of a Book of the Dead leads them to unwittingly summon up demons living in the nearby woods.Pretty bad. I gotta see the original for comparison.
May 30th - DirectorHerbert RossStarsKevin BaconLori SingerJohn LithgowA city teenager moves to a small town where rock music and dancing have been banned, and his rebellious spirit shakes up the populace. Finally saw this one. Cheerful.

The plot's not too hard to understand if you focus.
May 30th - DirectorRauni MollbergStarsRisto TuorilaPirkka-Pekka PeteliusPaavo LiskiThis film is the second silver screen adaption of the Finnish war book by Väinö Linna with the same name as the film. The story is based on Linna's experiences as an infantry man in the Finnish army during the so called "Continuation War" (1941-1944). The film tells the story of the fate of a machine gun platoon made up of young conscripts from various parts of Finland fighting against the Russian army from the beginning (summer 1941) to the end (summer/autumn 1944) of the war. Many of the characters are based on author Linna's brothers in arms. This one's a Finnish classic, based on the novel by Väinö Linna. This is a remake of the original movie made in the 50's. It's not any less of a classic.

May 30th - DirectorScott CooperStarsJeff BridgesMaggie GyllenhaalColin FarrellA faded country music musician is forced to reassess his dysfunctional life during a doomed romance that also inspires him.Too predictable and basic. Felt like I'd already seen it, and not in the good way.
May 30th - DirectorMartin ScorseseStarsLeonardo DiCaprioJonah HillMargot RobbieBased on the true story of Jordan Belfort, from his rise to a wealthy stock-broker living the high life to his fall involving crime, corruption and the federal government. We went to see this on the 4th of February. One of the best movies I've ever seen. It's a shame that the Academy Awards are full of *beep* and don't recognize the actual winners. Gravity 7, this 0? Rarely does a three hour movie keep one entertained the whole time.
May 30th - DirectorBrad AndersonStarsChristian BaleJennifer Jason LeighAitana Sánchez-GijónAn industrial worker who hasn't slept in a year begins to doubt his own sanity.Freaky as *beep* I had a nice time watching this.
