Natasha Calis is a star on the rise, quickly becoming a staple in television dramas. Fresh off the NBC/Global TV medical ensemble drama "Nurses" where she portrayed series lead 'Ashley Collins,' Natasha joins the CBS/Paramount+ series "'SkyMed" (July 2022) as flight nurse 'Haley Roberts' who's new to the team, but with heart and smarts, proves herself to be a fighter. The series weaves compelling stories around a diverse ensemble of young First Responders in the remote North, at 20,000 feet.
From a young age, Natasha has already made an impressive mark in both film and television. She starred in Sam Raimi's feature film "The Possession" for Lionsgate, which opened #1 two weeks in a row and still has the second-best Labor Day Weekend Box Office of all time. Calis' performance garnered rave reviews. The film, directed by award-winning Danish director Ole Bornedal, also starred Kyra Sedgwick and Jeffrey Dean Morgan. In 2013, Calis starred opposite Oscar-nominated actors Michael Shannon and Samantha Morton in "The Harvest," directed by John McNaugton. The film centers on a young girl (Calis) who challenges the family next door when she befriends their sick son who is kept in a secluded environment, leading her to the discovery of the boy's dire circumstances. Her film credits include "Donovan's Echo," starring opposite Danny Glover and Bruce Greenwood, which premiered at the 2011 Vancouver and Calgary International Film Festivals, and a role opposite Kat Dennings and Andie MacDowell in the independent film "Daydream Nation."
Calis' television work includes the NBC adaptation of "The Firm" starring opposite Josh Lucas, Molly Parker, and Juliette Lewis. Calis made her debut to television in the ABC Family TV movie "Christmas Caper." Her other television credits include "The Good Doctor" on ABC, "Supernatural" on the CW, the mini-series "Impact" for ABC opposite Natasha Hendstridge, the SyFy mini-series "Alice," and UPtv's "Ties That Bind" opposite Kelli Williams.
Calis started acting professionally at the age of seven in her native Vancouver, Canada. As a young child she would memorize lines and portray characters she saw on screen, as a way of immersing herself into acting education. Never one to shy from self-motivation and passionate dedication, Natasha began competitive soccer at the age of four and studied dance for fourteen years; balancing three of her favorite hobbies throughout her young adult years. Within her acting career, she thrives within drama and thrillers, taking a deep dive into characters with the ability to be being vulnerable and showcase raw emotion. Aside from being on camera, she has been fascinated by the creative process of filmmaking since she first began acting, and hopes to work behind the camera one day as well.Watched the Possession with her in it last night and she was awesome! Loved her acting! Hope she gets a role of a lifetime like Jennifer Lawrence did. (I knew Jen was talented after watching X-Men First Class, where she stole the show.)- Actress

Brit Heyworth Marling was born in Chicago, Illinois, to Heidi (Johnson) and John Marling, both of whom work in real estate. She graduated from Georgetown University, with a bachelor's in economics, and was offered a job with Goldman Sachs, which she turned down in favour of a career as an artist.
She moved to Los Angeles to act and, after spending a couple of years exploring the movie industry and being offered roles as "the cute blonde in horror movies", she taught herself to write, reasoning that the best way to get decent parts was to write them, herself. She worked on two movies, simultaneously - one in the mornings, one in the afternoons - and eventually both Another Earth (2011) and Sound of My Voice (2011) premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in 2011.She is so good in Another Earth.
