- DirectorLana WachowskiLilly WachowskiStarsKeanu ReevesLaurence FishburneCarrie-Anne MossWhen a beautiful stranger leads computer hacker Neo to a forbidding underworld, he discovers the shocking truth--the life he knows is the elaborate deception of an evil cyber-intelligence.I could write a 1000 page book about this movie but I'll keep it as short as I can. This movie is absolutely amazing. There are no super unique stand out characters but there doesn't need to be. Laurence Fishburne is dynamite and sucks you into whatever he is saying. In terms of imagination and thinking outside of the box and posing important questions, I regard The Matrix and its Trilogy of films to be the best ever. They bring up possibly the most important question to human civilization and that is Determinism vs Free Will. Don't get to carried away with the fighting and action scenes. This Movie and its Trilogy is all about explaining and trying to figure out about the unknown dynamic that is "The Universe".
- DirectorPeter FarrellyBobby FarrellyStarsJim CarreyJeff DanielsLauren HollyAfter a woman leaves a briefcase at the airport terminal, a dumb limo driver and his dumber friend set out on a hilarious cross-country road trip to Aspen to return it.This will always be one of the best comedy movies ever made. An original classic that's unbelievably funny. Almost every line from this movie is quotable.
- DirectorClint EastwoodStarsClint EastwoodBee VangChristopher CarleyAfter a Hmong teenager tries to steal his prized 1972 Gran Torino, a disgruntled, prejudiced Korean War veteran seeks to redeem both the boy and himself.Clint Eastwood. Need I say more? His acting is beyond amazing and his character that he plays is very powerful and unique. To me this movie could almost be considered a comedy but thats because I have a very broad sense of humor. This storyline brings up many issues with our current culture racism, gangs, wars, religion, sympathy, peace, regret, courage etc. Gran Torino is a very dynamic story that has many meanings throughout the movie and makes you really think about our current society and the direction were headed.
- DirectorJudd ApatowStarsSteve CarellCatherine KeenerPaul RuddGoaded by his buddies, a nerdy guy who's never "done the deed" only finds the pressure mounting when he meets a single mother. This is one of the most hilarious movies I've ever seen. Movie has very original humor and jokes and isn't repetitive. Characters are funny with a very talented cast of actors. The most important part(s) about this movie is that it brings up various problems in our current society such as single parenthood, sex, friendship, courage etc. I find it very fascinating that even thought this movie is poking fun at Andy the man character for being a "40 Year Old Virgin" he actually doesn't have sex until he's married so that tells me a lot about what message Judd Apatow wants to send the audience with this film. I love this movie and I always will.
- DirectorStephen ChboskyStarsLogan LermanEmma WatsonEzra MillerCharlie, a 15-year-old introvert, enters high school and is nervous about his new life. When he befriends his seniors, he learns to cope with his friend's suicide and his tumultuous past.I was speechless after seeing this movie. And I still am. To know what I think about this movie you just have to watch it for yourself. This is one of if not the most powerful and emotional movie ever.
- DirectorQuentin TarantinoStarsJohn TravoltaUma ThurmanSamuel L. JacksonThe lives of two mob hitmen, a boxer, a gangster and his wife, and a pair of diner bandits intertwine in four tales of violence and redemption. If this movie isn't the best of all time then its certainly on the list of the greatest movies. Quentin Tarantino is a pure film genius. The movie is not in chronological order and is a completely original movie that breaks boundaries to what the normal "blueprint" is for developing a great movie. The acting is superb and cinematography is excellent. But the dialogue is what really makes this movie. It is so deep and powerful that it grabs your attention and you quickly learn that Pulp Fiction is in a class of its own.
- DirectorChristopher NolanStarsChristian BaleHeath LedgerAaron EckhartWhen the menace known as the Joker wreaks havoc and chaos on the people of Gotham, Batman must accept one of the greatest psychological and physical tests of his ability to fight injustice.Regarded as the Best Superhero Movie of all time I couldn't agree more. This film keeps you on the edge of your seat for all 153 minutes. Even though this is a "Batman Movie" Heath Ledger's performance of the character "Joker" steals the show. Without him the movie would be lacking a huge explosive character to the story. With a few plot twists and powerful decisions by characters in the universe that is "Gotham City" The Dark Knight is an exceptional film with a near perfect story.
- DirectorGeorge LucasStarsMark HamillHarrison FordCarrie FisherLuke Skywalker joins forces with a Jedi Knight, a cocky pilot, a Wookiee and two droids to save the galaxy from the Empire's world-destroying battle station, while also attempting to rescue Princess Leia from the mysterious Darth Vader. In a Galaxy Far Far Away a man named George Lucas created the greatest Movie Trilogy Hollywood has ever seen and once you start watching Star Wars you'll soon learn why it is so great. A completely original story, universe, and concept Star Wars takes you on countless journeys throughout space as you indulge into the deep characters that make its storyline so compelling.
- DirectorIrvin KershnerStarsMark HamillHarrison FordCarrie FisherAfter the Rebel Alliance are overpowered by the Empire, Luke Skywalker begins his Jedi training with Yoda, while his friends are pursued across the galaxy by Darth Vader and bounty hunter Boba Fett. The Empire Strikes Back is probably one of the best movies of all time. Story, characters, action, suspense, comedy, plot, epic, it has it all. George Lucas is an artist and Star Wars is his Mona Lisa.
- DirectorRichard MarquandStarsMark HamillHarrison FordCarrie FisherAfter rescuing Han Solo from Jabba the Hutt, the Rebel Alliance attempt to destroy the second Death Star, while Luke struggles to help Darth Vader back from the dark side.We usually regard the 3rd film of a trilogy as the "least" of the three films but Return of the Jedi puts a giant asterisk next to that proposition. This movie is fantastic. My favorite of the Star Wars films. Episode VI has all the features and ingredients that make Episode V so great with a pretty much perfect ending to a trilogy full of suspense, action, and storyline. This movie really isn't lacking anything and flows perfect with great character development.
- DirectorMichael BayStarsBruce WillisBilly Bob ThorntonBen AffleckAfter discovering that an asteroid the size of Texas will impact Earth in less than a month, NASA recruits a misfit team of deep-core drillers to save the planet.
- DirectorGuy RitchieStarsRobert Downey Jr.Jude LawRachel McAdamsDetective Sherlock Holmes and his stalwart partner Watson engage in a battle of wits and brawn with a nemesis whose plot is a threat to all of England.
- DirectorGuy RitchieStarsRobert Downey Jr.Jude LawJared HarrisDetective Sherlock Holmes is on the trail of criminal mastermind Professor Moriarty, who is carrying out a string of random crimes across Europe.
- DirectorQuentin TarantinoStarsJamie FoxxChristoph WaltzLeonardo DiCaprioWith the help of a German bounty-hunter, a freed slave sets out to rescue his wife from a brutal plantation owner in Mississippi.A White German Dentist Bounty Hunter named Dr. King Schultz frees a slave and teaches him to become a bounty hunter then becomes his partner. They then embark on a journey to find the now freed slave Django's wife Broomhilda whom he lost in the slave trade many years ago. The dynamic between Dr. Schultz and Django is truly captivating and in my eyes even beautiful. Schultz treats Django almost even better than himself. He's willing to do whatever it takes to find and rescue Django's wife. Did I mention that Django is a black superhero? Who eventually kills all the white people that despise slaves? Django Unchained sounds like your typical hollywood movie doesn't it? I forget to mention how many times they say the N word also. If you haven't seen this movie put it on your "bucket list" to make sure you experience this amazing masterpiece in your lifetime. Quentin Tarantino is far above everyone else in writing scripts.
- DirectorSteven SpielbergStarsTom HanksMatt DamonTom SizemoreFollowing the Normandy Landings, a group of U.S. soldiers go behind enemy lines to retrieve a paratrooper whose brothers have been killed in action.Steven Spielberg will go down as one of the greatest film makers of all time and Saving Private Ryan is a masterpiece that authentically depicts the mood and actions of war on the front lines of the battlefield. This WWII film gives close ups to fire fights, grenade explosions, and tank shells blowing buildings to bits while pounding an emotional story line that keeps your heart involved throughout the movie.
- DirectorChristopher NolanStarsLeonardo DiCaprioJoseph Gordon-LevittElliot PageA thief who steals corporate secrets through the use of dream-sharing technology is given the inverse task of planting an idea into the mind of a C.E.O., but his tragic past may doom the project and his team to disaster. This movie in my opinion is a breakthrough and truly an original idea with a fantastic story. Has great acting and plot twists but the movie doesn't count on the plot twists to be successful. Hans Zimmer is the best Music Composer ever and this beautiful soundtrack he created just shows why.
- DirectorPaul GreengrassStarsMatt DamonEdgar RamírezJoan AllenJason Bourne dodges a ruthless C.I.A. official and his Agents from a new assassination program while searching for the origins of his life as a trained killer. The Bourne Ultimatum is the best of three Bourne Films in the original trilogy with loads of action and suspense that will keep you on the edge of your seat. I would recommend you see The Bourne Identity and The Bourne Supremecy before watching Ultimatum as this 3rd film has flashbacks and references to the previous 2 films. Jason Bourne is a manchurian candidate operative working for a black operation inside of the CIA and his last mission is to find out who he really is and what exactly happened to him. Bourne Ultimatum is loaded with action scenes and hand to hand combat that will take your breath away and have you wondering "how did they film that?". A good soundtrack gives this movie an added bonus with setting the mood and tone and really getting the audience involved into the action going on in the story.
- DirectorJohn FrankenheimerStarsFrank SinatraLaurence HarveyJanet LeighAn American POW in the Korean War is brainwashed as an unwitting assassin for an international Communist conspiracy.
- DirectorJan de BontStarsHelen HuntBill PaxtonCary ElwesTwo storm chasers on the brink of divorce must work together to create an advanced weather alert system by putting themselves in the cross-hairs of extremely violent tornadoes.

The one thing on her mind, escape. With no dialogue or explanation as to what exactly is going on, Portal: No Escape is an awesome action Short Film that makes you use your imagination as you follow this short Sci-Fi roller coaster to see if indeed there is "No Escape".
