Currently Airing Shows I'm Trying to Stay on Top Of
This list not only includes shows in the middle of airing, but also shows that have an announced premiere date within the current US TV year. Also, as shows get cancelled and the season finales air, I will delete them from this list.
Promising Series for the 2015-16 Season:
Emerald City - NBC (Picked back up again, so hopefully it actually goes to air this time)
Dr. Ken - ABC
Fuller House - Netflix (2016)
Grandfathered - FOX
Scream Queens - FOX
The Muppets - ABC
Uncle Buck - ABC
Cancelled This Season:
The McCarthys - I personally loved this show but I knew from the pilot episode it would be cancelled after the first year. I am a little surprised though that it got cancelled before it's run was over
Two and a Half Men - Loved the finale. Got into the show after they started airing reruns during season 5 and I was hooked ever since.
Glee - I stopped watching it after I missed an episode in season 4 near the end of the season. Since the death of Corey Monteith I found it even harder to go back and try to watch the episodes I missed. I loved this show from the beginning even after I stopped watching it. I have no idea what happened in the finale and I don't want to know until I have myself a marathon of the entire show.
CSI - I've been a fan since 2002 when I started watching primetime in general and I still remember learning about what they were doing back when I was in grade 6 and applying what I learned from tv to my schoolwork. This show has been a part of my life since I was 11 and I'll miss it from the CBS lineup. Needless to say I'll be there for the 2-hour movie on Sept 27th to see the send off.
