There are a few honorable mentions that I am not including, but should be mentioned. Dexter started out great and was strong for 4 seasons. I pushed myself through the 5th season and could not take any more after that. Same thing with Downton Abbey. The first three seasons were great, but I am having a hard time getting through the 4th season. It seems to have taken a downturn and become formulaic and stale. Misfits is a show that started out very strong and I could not watch the episodes fast enough. During the 4th season it fell apart when it devolved into a regular drama an got further away from the supernatural aspect of the characters using their powers.
