Rudy Soedjarwo or Rudianto Soedjarwo (born 9 November 1971) is an Indonesian film director. He became widely popular after directed a teens movie Ada Apa Dengan Cinta (What's Up with Love?) in 2002. That movie not only became a box office at that year but has received critical acclaim among Indonesian audience and critics as the important film of the era. That film also launched Dian Sastro and Nicholas Saputra's career as big movie stars in Indonesian cinema. Rudy has produced and directed different genres of movies - ranges from drama, comedy, horror and also action fantasy - showing his versatility. Harris Nizam has been falling in love with photography and films since he was a teenager. Based on that interest, he continued to study film at Jakarta Institute of Art. While he was studying, he began to work as a freelancer in several production houses either in Jakarta and Bali.
Since 2007, he has been join with Skylar Pictures. Here, he created several video clips and also film television, mostly he is listed as a producer for feature films productions. Even for his debut in Surat Kecil Untuk Tuhan (A Note to God) he keeps supervising his producer.

Rizal has a degree in architecture but pursued his career in film directing. His work has won him several awards, both domestic and international. To date, he has directed several feature films and numerous music videos in which he received an MTV 'Moon Man' for the the music video 'Sambutlah' by Denada.. 'Kuldesak' (1998) was his first feature film in which he co-directed with three other Indonesian directors, Mira Lesmana, Riri Riza and Nan T. Achnas. His second feature, in which he co-directed with director Jose Poernomo titled 'Jelangkung' became the biggest box office draw for 2001 in the country. His follow up, is the 'Kuntilanak Trilogy' produced by MVP Pictures, was also well-received, in which 'Kuntilanak', the first of what will become Indonesia's first 'Universe' franchise, became the biggest box office draw for 2006 and 'Kuntilanak 3' (the third installment in the franchise) won him the 'best director' award at 2008 the 'Bali Film Festival'.
The inspirational drama '5cm' won him the 2012 'Bandung Film Festival' / 'Festival Film Bandung' in the 'Best Film' and 'Best Director' category. '5cm' is Produced by Soraya Films with Sunil Soraya and Ram Soraya as the producers and is based on the best selling book by Donny Dhirgantoro.

Director Angga Dwimas Sasongko champions Indonesian cinema with award-winning urban movies.
Renowned for his depiction of contemporary urban Indonesia, Sasongko is one of the country's most respected award-winning film directors. In 2008, he put up his own film production company, Visinema Pictures, which has churned out outstanding work. Together with his wife, Anggia Kharisma, as a producer, Sasongko has churned many award-winning movies.
Among their first projects was We Are Moluccans (2014). Focusing on a former soccer player who wants to save the children in his village from religious conflict in Ambon, the movie received a Citra Award for Best Picture at the 2014 Indonesian Film Festival (IFF). Angga was the youngest producer to win such an award. This year, its children's movie Nussa received Best Animation at IFF. The win was foreshadowed by Nussa's win as the Best Short Animation at 2019 IFF when it began as a web series.
Next, Sasongko's movie Letters from Prague (2016) was Indonesia's official entry for the Academy Awards. He was also the first in his country to collaborate with Fox International Production for his movie 212 Warrior (2018) in 2018.
Under Visinema, last year he started a pay-per-view movie platform called Bioskop Online to support Indonesian filmmakers and allow more to have access to their work. The platform has more than 700.000 subscribers. There is also VCampus, an e-learning platform circa 2019, to provide more content and discussion around filmmaking. Upon finishing film school, he returned to Indonesia to begin a varied career in film: from film critic (which he retired from in 2007), film programmer/curator, filmmaker, writer, actor, and arts educator. Lucky Kuswandi is one of Indonesia's most exciting young directors. His films have been screened in International festivals worldwide, receiving accolades, awards and distribution. The Wall Street Journal praises his work as "original and uncharted."
His career started in 2006, when he was invited to the Berlinale Talent Campus in Berlin, Germany. It is a forum for young, promising filmmakers. He was selected among more than 6000 applicants around the world. In 2008 he directed a documentary short "Miss or Mrs." as part of the anthology "At Stake". The documentary was screened in the prestigious Berlin Film Festival 2009 at the Panorama Section.
In 2010 he directed his first full-length film "Madame X". The film was nominated for 2 Asian Film Awards in Hong Kong at 2011, and won the Best Film Award at the Copenhagen LGBT Film Festival. It is currently available to stream at Disney Plus.
In 2014, Kuswandi released his second feature film, a love letter to Jakarta titled "In the Absence of the Sun". The film won him the Best Director Award from the Indonesian Film Director's Club. The Straits Times praised the film, calling it "dripping with social commentary, the feature illustrates the contradictions that make up the rich mosaic that is one of Asia's most populous cities." The film is available to stream at Netflix and Amazon Prime.
In 2015, Kuswandi's latest short film, "The Fox Exploits the Tiger's Might", competed at the Cannes Film Festival in the Semaine de la Critique (Critic's Week) Section. The film became the second Indonesian film ever screened in the section, and the first in 26 years. The film won Best Short Film & Best Director at the Silver Screen Awards in Singapore 2015. It also won Lucky his first Piala Citra Award for Best Short Film. The film is available to stream at MUBI.
In 2017, Lucky released his third feature film, "Galih & Ratna", a remake of the infamous Indonesian film "Gita Cinta dari SMA". It is available to stream at Netflix and Disney Plus.
In 2019 he was one of the screenwriters of the Indonesian adaptation of Warner Bros "Gossip Girl". In 2020 he also wrote and plans to direct the second season of the series.
In 2020, Lucky directed his fourth feature film "Ali & Ratu-Ratu Queens" (Ali and the Queens), to be released in 2021
Lucky also works as a film lecturer in Universitas Multimedia Nusantara, teaching film directing. He has given film talks and workshops in various events, including ones held by the Media Development Authority (MDA) Singapore and the Motion Pictures of Association (MPAA).- Director
