Great animated movies that deserves their 2nd chance!

I know it would be redundant to say this but I'm still going to say it: Animation really isn't all about "just a kids thing", NO to that thought! And I'm starting to getting tired of hearing that from many people especially movie-lovers themselves. These days I personally sometimes think many people has misinterpreted some beautiful animated movies we get now and I'm willing to give them a perspective thought of what makes these movies good in the first place.

This list is not complete and neither in particular order.

I mean come on, this movie really wasn't all about a commercial to buy LEGO products. But yes maybe the movie was extremely fast-paced but I think the movie did explain everything it could've possibly tell us. And there's nothing wrong with it's humor either it reminded me a little touch of Cartoon Network humor. But most importantly it does provide a good message and no it isn't about commercialism, it is something good to think of. Besides this movie is way better and more worth-watching than crappy movies like Pompeii (2014) and Transformers AOE.

2. Big Hero 6 (2014)

74 Metascore

Votes: 502,329 | Gross: $222.53M

If there's one thing I understand is that yes it is a Disney film, but what I don't understand is that how some people didn't enjoy it just because it felt too typical? Well let me tell you: watching a movie isn't just about having an epic beginning with a beautiful ending, one should be focused about what else it offers in the middle of it. BH6 wasn't just about a superhero story but about delivering some good opinions and thoughts about healthcare.

I would like to comment to a user who thought that only "brain-damaged" people will only enjoy this. There are far more "brain-damaged" movies out there but BH6 is NOT one of them! There's nothing to think a movie like BH6 ever delivering something unnecessary or nothing thoughtful at all. This isn't some kind of kids-show boredom, it provides much more effort about healthcare and helping many people.

3. ParaNorman (2012)

PG | 92 min | Animation, Adventure, Comedy

72 Metascore

A misunderstood boy takes on ghosts, zombies and grown-ups to save his town from a centuries-old curse.

Directors: Chris Butler, Sam Fell | Stars: Kodi Smit-McPhee, Anna Kendrick, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Tucker Albrizzi

Votes: 109,954 | Gross: $56.00M

I read that some people were disappointed at the ending and I'm wondering why? OK I'll admit that maybe the ending was a bit "phoned in" but at least nobody in the movie ever got angry or blamed the main character. But I certainly do hope it had nothing to do with the secret behind one of the characters that got revealed at the end, I mean as the directors stated that it was to show that you shouldn't be afraid of what you truly are. And literally I would highly recommend every family to show this to their children with a very important message instead of pointless and undeserved movie like "Brave"!

4. Up (2009)

PG | 96 min | Animation, Adventure, Comedy

88 Metascore

78-year-old Carl Fredricksen travels to Paradise Falls in his house equipped with balloons, inadvertently taking a young stowaway.

Directors: Pete Docter, Bob Peterson | Stars: Edward Asner, Jordan Nagai, John Ratzenberger, Christopher Plummer

Votes: 1,125,377 | Gross: $293.00M

One of Pixar's most original movies I've ever seen, it simply is one of their most beautiful masterpieces they've ever done! I don't think it should be considered as an extremely sad movie, there are good balance of humor but also an unusual but wonderful adventure too.

I wouldn't minded at all if it won for Best Picture of the Year as well.
