- DirectorMichael CrichtonStarsBurt ReynoldsTheresa RussellNed BeattyPolice officer Joe Paris, suspended and now accused of strangling hated extortionist Jake Farley, is forced to join forces with his attorney Jenny Hudson to assemble the pieces of a deadly puzzle to find the missing link.
- DirectorAlex WrightStarsPeter WellerBryan BrownAngus MacfadyenAfter establishing himself as one of the world's best safe-crackers, Nelson decides to retire from his life of crime and walk the straight and narrow. However, when his brother is targeted after going into debt with an organized crime ring, Nelson finds himself pulled back into the life he left behind for one last big job. Luckily, he has a little help in the form of fellow top-notch crook Art.A typical B-Movie that did manange to hold my attention longer than most. Peter Weller is a robber who is drawn back into the life for one last heist in order to save his brother (Angus Macfadyen) from loan sharks. Weller's character wants no surprises and ends up with several that complicate his plans. Like I said not the best movie but there are some great shots of Cape Town.
- DirectorGraeme CliffordStarsAndie MacDowellLiam NeesonViggo MortensenAfter her businessman husband dies suspiciously in a Mexican plane crash, his widow begins to investigate his labyrinthine financial dealings, not all of which are legal.A completely disjointed film. Andie MacDowell plays a woman whose pilot husband is presumed killed in a plane crash only to turn up alive. Before you can say insurance fraud, MacDowell realizes that he is alive and criscrosses the globe to find him. Liam Neeson is utterly wasted here as the head of an international charity. Viggo Mortensen appears in flashbacks as MacDowell's husband and makes a brief appearance at the end. I would not even bother with this one.
