- CreatorLarry DavidJerry SeinfeldStarsJerry SeinfeldJulia Louis-DreyfusMichael RichardsThe continuing misadventures of neurotic New York City stand-up comedian Jerry Seinfeld and his equally neurotic New York City friends.A very good situational comedy, that is a main staple for binging. I couldn't recommend this show enough.
- CreatorSpike FerestenGregg KavetMichael RichardsStarsMichael RichardsWilliam DevaneBill CobbsLanky, bumbling private eye Vic Nardozza faces misunderstandings and mishaps while working cases for McKay Investigative Services, but ultimately gets the job done. The first of the Seinfeld curse, and ultimately one that had everything going for it to last longer, only for it's cancellation. Rough early episodes, and missed potential in William Devane (Brady) performance. I mostly blame the network, perhaps if this was a hit it would had 'saved' Michael Richards from his incident.
- CreatorJac SchaefferStarsElizabeth OlsenPaul BettanyKathryn HahnBlends the style of classic sitcoms with the MCU, in which Wanda Maximoff and Vision - two super-powered beings living their ideal suburban lives - begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.A beautiful crafted love letter to sitcoms, with a moving story and intriguing enough mystery angle.
- CreatorMark LeganPhoef SuttonStarsTim DuttonKirsten NelsonJim RashA comedic view of the settling of America by the Puritans. An unexpected nice situational comedy about a family of puritans colonizing America. The cast was sharp, the writing was good, and the storylines were okay with the time period. Also John Cotton, isn't played by Chris Elliot like I thought he was, he is played by the same actor who played the Dean on Community.
- CreatorMarsh McCallRoss McCallAaron PetersStarsEric LivelyMax GreenfieldJane SeymourThree lifelong single men hire a life coach to help them with romance and women. This one is an sitcom that showed lots of promise, its main gimmick is it's premise which includes a female life coach however is used as more of a plot device, then an actually character. The men play off each other well for a first season. The show was canceled due to a lack of time slots from the merger of The WB and UPN that created the new network The CW and due to poor ratings. A shame. This could have been a fairly successful evolution to the sitcom lineup.
- CreatorMitchell HurwitzStarsJason BatemanMichael CeraPortia de RossiLevel-headed son Michael Bluth takes over family affairs after his father is imprisoned. But the rest of his spoiled, dysfunctional family are making his job unbearable. The FOX seasons were some of televisions finest, then Netflix came along and brought the Bluths down with it. Despite a solid start to the "re-bluth" it ultimately became a misguided attempt at bringing back a cult classic.
- StarsChris O'DowdRichard AyoadeKatherine ParkinsonThe comedic misadventures of Roy, Moss and their grifting supervisor Jen, a rag-tag team of IT support workers at a large corporation headed by a hotheaded yuppie. The IT CROWD is a masterpiece of British comedy every episode hits its marks without a buggy first season highly recommend it.
- CreatorAlan SpencerMel BrooksStarsCloris LeachmanHarvey KormanBrian McNamaraThis short-lived comedy dealt with the day to day lives of the staff and (rare) guests in a New York hotel that had fallen on hard times.Despite the talent behind the series, the parody genre doesn't work in this farce about employees working on a hotel. The non sequiturs leave me out of the experience despite the quality of the jokes being good.
- CreatorReed AgnewEli JorneStarsCheryl HinesJohnny PembertonTim MeadowsAnimation and live action collide when a cartoon Barbarian dad leaves his war-torn village to re-connect with his moody, non-animated teenage son in suburbia. An enjoyable basic animated comedy with a surprisingly enjoyable gimmick, animation quality lingers however a show like this biggest failure was attempting to survive primetime (this was more Adult Swim material then FOX material.)
- CreatorJames L. BrooksStan DanielsDavid DavisStarsJudd HirschJeff ConawayDanny DeVitoThe staff of a New York City taxicab company go about their job while they dream of greater things.A cleverly written and hilarious sitcom which can also have moments of sincerity which overtimes loses its realism for broader (although still well written) laughs.
- StarsMiranda HartPatricia HodgeTom EllisSocially inept Miranda always gets into awkward situations; working in her joke shop with best friend Stevie, being hounded by her pushy mother, and around her crush Gary. It's an alright offering which brings has great sets up and build ups but looses itself as it progresses.
- CreatorJames BurrowsGlen CharlesLes CharlesStarsTed DansonRhea PerlmanJohn RatzenbergerThe regulars of the Boston bar "Cheers" share their experiences and lives with each other while drinking or working at the bar where everybody knows your name.An always hilarious look at the lives of patrons at a bar, both eras are fueled with fun, from the fiery passion of the Sam and Diane era, to the new characters that defined the Rebecca era. Brilliant show.
- CreatorDavid CaspeJackie ClarkeStarsKenan ThompsonChris ReddKimrie LewisA recently widowed dad tries to raise his kids with his brother and persistent former father-in-law.Kenan had potential to showcase the wacky morning show hijinks but was uncapable of falling from the typical trappings of underutilizing its funny cast, forcing a will they/won't they between Kenan and Mika, and using his characterization as a widower as the death of the comedy. Season two had admirable improvements at attempting to focus on characterizations by testing different comedy dynamics however it only killed the shows potential to unoriginally bland.
- CreatorMarco PennetteStarsAnnaleigh AshfordThomas MiddleditchDarryl StephensNewly divorced dad Drew faces finding a kidney donor and is at the end of his rope and his hope when he runs into Gina, a rough-around-the edges woman from his past who volunteers her own.B Positive had an very simple, yet effective odd couple dynamic between the two leads, however it suffered from a restricting premise which was incapable of being a realistic for the run. Season two shifts gears towards Gina and the retirement home was a necessary shift for the series; but one that came at the expense of many characters built from the first season with a greater focus on an unbelievable romance between donor and recipient.
- CreatorMaria FerrariDavid GoetschStarsParker YoungAdhir KalyanElizabeth AlderferThe friendship between Riley, a Marine combat veteran struggling to readjust to civilian life in Ohio, and Awalmir, the Afghan interpreter who served with his unit and has just arrived to start a new life in America.United States of Al had a much stronger ensemble, tighter writing, and emotional push for the characters. It's a shame the only thing worth watching it for was Al, which when season two rolls around strives him from his 'fish out of water' possibilities by Americanizing him, giving him two love interests, which is a shame because they actually found themselves with a stronger reoccurring to play around with.
- CreatorRobert CarlockTina FeyStarsTed DansonHolly HunterVella LovellA wealthy businessman becomes the mayor of Los Angeles.Mr. Mayor is the embodiment of a lame duck. It plays around with a strong workplace focus, with characters that are fun and quirky, minus from Mikaela, Tommy, and Orly, as the cast is filed with sitcom royalty, Ted Danson. Season two continues to build on the foundation placed within it until the addition of weaker side characters, like James, and the will/they won't they trying to be built with Mikaela, and the incredibly bound to be dated influencer, and mayor political opponent Titi B, strain the focus to much away from our regulars, that by the time their in focus again, it is to late.
- CreatorLiz AstrofStarsEliza CoupeGinnifer GoodwinMaggie QWhen psychologists advise them not to make any big decisions, three friends do exactly that; taking on the mid-life challenge they never saw coming, and upending their lives in an effort to find happiness while there is still time.Fox wastes a perfectly expectable, for their standards at least, series that uses a refreshingly character centric premise about women dealing with the lost of their friend as a catalyst for their own shifts in their lives. However, the show is plagued with miserable characters, whose comedic showcase is not worth sticking around for, despite showcasing respectable, and comedic attempts at playing against conventions, with raunchiness' and infidelity.
- CreatorShion TakeuchiAlex HirschStarsLizzy CaplanChristian SlaterClark DukeFor employees of the Deep State, conspiracies aren't just theories, they're fact. And keeping them a secret is a full-time job.Fresh-faced, original, and wickedly creative, with a unique comedic style for adult animation, and you can already see where this is going, cancelled after one season, that not even the new world order could prevent. The show was growing to become 'take over the world' quality, but still faulted with weaker use of its supporting characters, basically anybody who is not Reagan, Rand, and Brett, but its unique style made it more then worth watching, a true shame.
