Star Wars Movies
I had thought for some time that I could watch a movie franchise. Marvels is practically everywhere, and I've seen a lot of it. I watched Harry Potter again a few years back. This time I decided in favour of Star Wars.
I had seen the Star Wars only in fragments, but not once from the beginning to the end, at least not in a short period of time.
My personal opinion and ranking of the best and worst Star Wars Movies.
Star Wars ranked; Star Wars saga; Star Wars franchise

- DirectorGeorge LucasStarsMark HamillHarrison FordCarrie FisherLuke Skywalker joins forces with a Jedi Knight, a cocky pilot, a Wookiee and two droids to save the galaxy from the Empire's world-destroying battle station, while also attempting to rescue Princess Leia from the mysterious Darth Vader.I started where logically should start, with the first film from 1977. Let's say how it is, the script was very simple, a relatively primitive cast of actors, but at the same time I can't compare it to movies that came out 30-40 years later.
I can appreciate the art of the filmmakers. At that time, it was certainly at the highest level.
From this period, I haven't watched a lot of movies. And I don't have anything to compare with. At the moment, my score will be as a base for future films. It might have to be adjusted a bit later.
Base rating: 7.3
And the trilogy is done. This movie This film has certainly earned 8 of me. Since the baseline rating is no longer so up-to-date. I mean then it has to be at least 7.7.
After trilogy: 7.7 - DirectorIrvin KershnerStarsMark HamillHarrison FordCarrie FisherAfter the Rebel Alliance are overpowered by the Empire, Luke Skywalker begins his Jedi training with Yoda, while his friends are pursued across the galaxy by Darth Vader and bounty hunter Boba Fett. Finally something is happening here. I mean, the performance was well better than in the first movie. In principle, everything was much better.
Some sort of scenario is starting to appear. A New Hope doesn't stand even close to comparison. I liked a variety of small things and I enjoyed the interaction between characters. Vader character is also quite interesting.
In this part, there were a number of big events that happened in parallel, not just the kid who got his sword and now was cool. Just a laugh.
Let's see what's going to happen next.
Rating: 7.7
After trilogy: 8.1 - DirectorRichard MarquandStarsMark HamillHarrison FordCarrie FisherAfter rescuing Han Solo from Jabba the Hutt, the Rebel Alliance attempt to destroy the second Death Star, while Luke struggles to help Darth Vader back from the dark side.Certainly not as good as The Empire Strikes Back. I enjoyed both Yoda's moments and Vader's moments. It was interesting.
Rating: 7.5
Overall, the trilogy was pretty simple, but interesting enough at the same time. The end of the Trilogy was also appropriate.
After trilogy: 7.8 - DirectorGeorge LucasStarsEwan McGregorLiam NeesonNatalie PortmanTwo Jedi escape a hostile blockade to find allies and come across a young boy who may bring balance to the Force, but the long dormant Sith resurface to claim their original glory.I liked young Anakin, that's for sure. The competition was quite interesting. Though it was quite predictable that Anakin would win.
I expected perhaps an unexpected turn in the film. But it didn't happen. The last fight was interesting in its own way. A little more action, but very briefly and very simple. The good ones win. The end. Jipee... Yuhuu...
Senator Palpatine was really sketchy. I wonder what will happens next.
Rating: 7.1 - DirectorGeorge LucasStarsHayden ChristensenNatalie PortmanEwan McGregorTen years after initially meeting, Anakin Skywalker shares a forbidden romance with Padmé Amidala, while Obi-Wan Kenobi discovers a secret clone army crafted for the Jedi.Anakin is promising this, then that, and every time just "I promise, I promise". That was a bit annoying.
But overall movie wasn't terrible, but just bad. There was some action, and ... that is it.
Rating: 6.7 - DirectorGeorge LucasStarsHayden ChristensenNatalie PortmanEwan McGregorThree years into the Clone Wars, Obi-Wan Kenobi pursues a new threat, while Anakin Skywalker is lured by Chancellor Palpatine into a sinister plot to rule the galaxy.Best turning-point in these series - "Commander Cody, the time has come. Execute Order sixty-six.". That was kind of amazing.
One of the best moments in the movie - "Anakin is the father, isn't he? I'm so sorry".
Anakins role was great. He was a bit stupid at some moments, but still one of the best characters.
Rating: 7.4 - DirectorJ.J. AbramsStarsDaisy RidleyJohn BoyegaOscar IsaacAs a new threat to the galaxy rises, Rey, a desert scavenger, and Finn, an ex-stormtrooper, must join Han Solo and Chewbacca to search for the one hope of restoring peace.Several moments in the film were ultimately illogical. Most of all, it seemed strange to me, just about the abilities of each character, which at one point are really bad or none, but then again, at another moment, there are sudden specialists.
And it was for Rey, Finn, and for Ren too who can do incredible things at one point, but in another he can't even fight a simple opponent. That was just funny.
Well, I don't know, it was very strange all together.
Rating: 7.5 - DirectorRian JohnsonStarsDaisy RidleyJohn BoyegaMark HamillRey develops her abilities with the help of Luke Skywalker, as the Resistance prepares for battle against the First Order.Anyway, something a little different than it was before. Rej turns out to be very strong. She has abilities at once, she knows everything at once, there's nothing to say, just the script needed her to do something she could or couldn't.
And then there was a moment when main "person" was killed. You know which one. It reminded me slightly of the first trilogy. A little ridiculous as it all goes together.
Action is pretty good, it is true, but still illogical in terms of what we've seen before.
Rating: 7.1 - DirectorJ.J. AbramsStarsDaisy RidleyJohn BoyegaOscar IsaacThe surviving Resistance faces the First Order once again in the conclusion of the Skywalker saga.Grandiose views, random abilities (h...). Leia also turns out to be Jedi. And Finn's also felt everything. Such random stuff all together.
