A solid adaptation of the novel, although I think the Greta Gerwig version may have spoiled me in comparison. - DirectorMilos FormanStarsF. Will Smith and Martin Lawrence's chemistry has aged considerably well. My Rating: 1.5/5
Even despite my lukewarm response to the first Bad Boys, it's leagues above its first sequel. You can see a lot of the problems that would later be repeated in Michael Bay's Transformers films, like the overlong runtime, and the wholly unnecessary animal sex. - DirectorTerrence MalickStarsRichard GereBrooke AdamsSam ShepardA hot-tempered farm laborer convinces the woman he loves to marry their rich but dying boss so that they can have a claim to his fortune.Date Watched: 12th January 2020

Richard Jewell has mostly honourable intentions and some terrific performances, but I didn't find it particularly involving to watch, and the way it inaccurately and damagingly depicts Kathy Scruggs made me uncomfortable. - DirectorMike NicholsStarsDustin HoffmanAnne BancroftKatharine RossA disillusioned college graduate finds himself torn between his older lover and her daughter.Date Watched: 15th January 2020

My Rating: 4/5
As Martin Scorsese's first collaboration with Robert De Niro, you can see a lot of the elements that would inform his later work. It's a good story that's brilliantly shot, but watching it now, I didn't particularly like Charlie, especially his social attitudes. - DirectorAdil El ArbiBilall FallahStarsWill SmithMartin LawrenceVanessa HudgensMiami detectives Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett must face off against a mother-and-son pair of drug lords who wreak vengeful havoc on their city.Date Watched: 18th January 2020
