- CreatorVince GilliganPeter GouldStarsBob OdenkirkRhea SeehornJonathan BanksThe trials and tribulations of criminal lawyer Jimmy McGill in the years leading up to his fateful run-in with Walter White and Jesse Pinkman.Believe the hype, 'Better Call Saul' is as every bit exciting as its predecessor 'Breaking Bad'.
A comparison to 'Breaking Bad' is inevitable; this story is a character driven one, in the sense that it focuses on the dynamic relationships between its characters and their interactions, whereas 'Breaking Bad' is a story that I feel focuses far more on the protagonist and their emotions and thinking behind their actions.
On its own, It tells a story with excellent writing which keeps you invested from start to finish. It's cinematography is some of the best in any TV series I have watched. Early on the show appears to have a fair share of comedic elements, which really shines with Bob Odenkirk's astonishing performance. This is not a comedy, however Saul's wit and humour is present throughout.
The stakes increase as the story progresses and concludes the story arc of Saul Goodman wonderfully.
I want to recommend this show off the basis of its characters and performances. If you enjoyed 'Breaking Bad' it is not a guarantee you will enjoy this show too, however I would recommend you give it a go.

... is a question that you will ask frequently throughout watching Barry.
Barry blends dark humor with all the qualities of a great show and it never fails to succeed. I find the problem with a lot of comedies is that they never have room for character development or a strong plot since it can't find time for that between all the jokes.
That's where Barry steps in, he's a hit-man that has decided to try and take up acting as his new profession, however he tries so desperately to cut his old work out of his life and struggles to not let it interfere with his new passion.
The show is constantly funny and a usually serious theme of murder is found to be the plot device of humor in Barry. It balances comedy with character development so well and the acting is astounding. Every cast member is an incredible actor, most notably Bill Hader who has quickly become one of my favorite actors. This guy can do so much it's unbelievable.
This show is way better than I expected it to be. If you're into humor with an edgy twist to it then you're in luck.
9/10 - Amazing - CreatorBaran bo OdarJantje FrieseStarsLouis HofmannKaroline EichhornLisa VicariA family saga with a supernatural twist, set in a German town where the disappearance of two young children exposes the relationships among four families.I had never seen a show so close to perfection until I watched Dark. Now while I believe nothing can truly be 100% objectively perfect, I do believe a show can be perfect subjectively, so guess what?
Dark explores complex science fiction ideas and executes them into masterful storytelling. It wraps them up with no room for plot holes and they are explained in a way that the viewer learns more about the universe just as the characters do.
Each character feels they have a purpose and almost never left out. They contribute to the story line and drive it forward nicely. With so many characters you might think their arcs are put on pause for others to catch up, however since they all play a role in the big picture the show remains at a constant enjoyable pace.
-Season 3 Update-
I believe I'm in a small minority that didn't entirely enjoy the conclusion of Dark. Seeing the final episode has a 9.8/10 rating then I'm confident in that statement. I don't believe the show ended perfectly, which is shame because I still think the first two seasons are perfect. I think Dark Season 3 (more so the final episode) suffers from plot inconsistencies. What we believe to be a core fundamental within the show is instead stripped away to allow the story to finish. New elements are written simply to give reason on why X happened, or used as a "Get out of Jail free" card that allows the show to technically have a causation for one thing, despite it not applying to other existing rules of the already heavily established plotline. There also appear to be a few character arcs which lack a solid conclusion or much relevance to the story at all.
However, this is simply my feeling after watching the final episode, and I still enjoyed the rest of the season. My favourite Dark episode lies in this season (episode 5), and every other episode is good as always. There are some moments which are a bit senseless, in which I only point out as the other seasons didn't have any of this, but for the most part I found myself continue to enjoy the same show from Seasons 1 and 2.
Would I recommend? Of course. The ratings speak for themselves and 2/3rds of the show are perfect, with 1/3rd lacking slightly at the end.
Seasons 1 + 2: 10/10
Season 3: 9/10
Overall: 9/10 - Amazing - CreatorDrew GoddardStarsCharlie CoxVincent D'OnofrioDeborah Ann WollA blind lawyer by day, vigilante by night. Matt Murdock fights the crime of New York as Daredevil.I can understand why Daredevil was cancelled due to the expiration of the Netflix Disney deal, however they need to find a way to continue the show on another streaming platform. If the characters are used again in the MCU I BEG they are played by the actors from this show. The casting is perfect. There are no other actors that can bring to life these characters in the same way the cast of Daredevil has.
This show contains the best action scenes from any thing on a screen ever. The direction behind these scenes are incredible and I don't think anything will ever come close to it.
As for Daredevil no longer being my favorite show, I just feel that since the ending of the third season is the theoretical ending for the show (as of now), then it just doesn't give the same effect that other shows have e.g. Breaking Bad. It leaves an opening for a fourth season which is great, however it currently doesn't look like that will be happening. I was hoping this show would run for 5 or 6 seasons and then end before it burnt itself out. Yet instead we are unfortunately left with an unsatisfactory ending to such an amazing show.
Nonetheless, it is the best thing to come out of the MCU.
I recommend this show to anyone who enjoys action or crime genres. It doesn't have the childish nature like the 12A MCU movies, and is intended for more mature audiences. Watch it.

MillerJosh BrenerFollows the struggle of Richard Hendricks, a Silicon Valley engineer trying to build his own company called Pied Piper. There is a laugh available for everyone in Silicon Valley. It is without a doubt one of the funniest shows I have ever seen.
The premise revolves around tech nerds attempting to start their own company, and the hilarious events that follow. The characters manage to get themselves into situations which will hurt you with laughter.
In my opinion seasons 1-3 are the best, although the show begins to fall off just a bit at the end. These seasons capture everything great about what makes the show great and it's all in one package. The most memorable and funniest moments will live in these seasons.
Seasons 4&5 are still good, however certain aspects just aren't on par with the other seasons. Some character arcs begin to dull, story seems to slow etc. Still worth a watch though ready in time for the final season of the show. I'm glad they aren't trying to stretch the show until it burns itself out.
Seasin 6 ends the show beautifully. In the last few seasons the show seemed to take the plot in new directions, which would seem to be a big risk yet it pays off well this season. The show remains funny and has a few memorably funny moments, which I think mainly holds up in the first 3 seasons, however the show finishes well nonetheless.

- CreatorFrank DarabontStarsAndrew LincolnNorman ReedusMelissa McBrideSheriff Deputy Rick Grimes wakes up from a coma to learn the world is in ruins and must lead a group of survivors to stay alive. The Walking Dead is coming up to it's 10th Season, and while the show hasn't always been great it certainly has taken us on a journey.
Season's 1-5 were great. It showed us this world where the outbreak has consumed people and order, so people are willing to do whatever it takes to survive. It follows the main protagonist, Rick Grimes, and his quest to find a safe place for his people, which proves to be a difficult task where trust no longer exists.
Season 6 continued to stay great, it showed the characters dealing with the Walkers and trying to maintain order, however in the second half of the season we meet Jesus. He open's up the world of The Walking Dead and just when Rick and his group think they are the strongest people out there and that they having nothing to fear, Negan comes around. Jeffrey Dean Morgan proves to be the perfect cast for Negan, showing us just how evil people have become. Despite Negan, the finale takes us into Seasons 7&8 which are rather disappointing.
The first half of Season 7 is somewhat dull, we see Negan taking full control of Rick's people and it doesn't provide much of a viewing experience since there is no intensity. They are just providing for Negan rather than him acting as an antagonist. Next half of Season 7 begins the build up to the War against Negan and season 8 gives us the All-out War storyline from the comics. It is drawn out across the season with wonky writing which you would've thought killed the show.
Despite this 2 Season long mess, we get a new screenwriter, Angela Kang. She has done wonders for this show so far and has really impressed me with Season 9. Season 9 takes the show in a new direction which makes the show feel fresh and exiting again. It also gives multiple episodes which are standout among the entire show.

If you are not familiar with any Witcher media then you may find it a little confusing as season 1 begins telling two stories in different time periods, featuring the same characters in parallel.
Season 3 is a massive let down. I enjoyed the first two episodes and after that the story slowed dramatically. Characters begin their own journeys and don't achieve the goal they set out, as well as make irrational decisions.
The plot is far too confusing; it spends a lot of time around the political aspects between the different geographic areas, but it's far too convoluted and doesn't give you a reason to care. You probably won't remember who's on who's side and where they are from and what they want because the show does a poor job of explaining this.
Ultimately, everything the season builds up to comes crashing down in a poorly executed climax all in one episode. It's akin to being stuck in neutral and then suddenly driving off a cliff. The worst part is this episode is NOT the final OR penultimate episode, therefore the rest of the season feels wasted as the story does not progress any further.
The visuals and action scenes remain very enjoyable. The performances are still stellar, particularly Henry Cavill as Geralt and Freya Allan as Ciri.
Season 3 tells a story that could have been told in 4 episodes max, in 8 episodes. Despite this, the story is still incomplete and not satisfactory.
I cannot currently recommend this show to anybody, as there doesn't really seem to be an audience for it. Fans of the source material will find an unfaithful adaption, people new to the Witcher may find it confusing, and if you don't then the show isn't that great anyway since the release of season 3. Instead I recommend playing The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, it's a fantastic game and a much better use of your time.
Seasons 1-3: 7/10
