Most Tolerable James Nguyen Film
Director James Nguyen has made some pretty terrible movies through the years, but that doesn't mean we hate him. His films (ocasionally Hitchcock imitations) have provided the audience with plenty to smile at, and it's no wonder that the guys at RiffTrax have taken on most of his works.
There are certain standards that must be kept in order to qualify a Nguyen-ian film, including but not limited to:
* Each number or price mentioned being huge and round (ie; $100,000,000)
* Long, slow driving and parking scenes
* Audio that sounds like it's in a tin shoebox and sometimes just goes out
* Almost every line being horribly flubbed
* Footage of legendary, classic celebrities playing on a character's T.V.
* Characters being millionaire geniuses, no relatable 'everyday people'
* Camera angles that make the actors look completely horrifying
* A guy weirdly stalking a girl until she says yes to a date
* Corny, unrealistic date montages
* Actors appear to be poorly imitating a human walking and talking, as if they've never seen it before
That being said, these films have had an impact on B-movie culture. Because as bad as they are, they're too fun! So, which of James Nguyen's concoctions is the most tolerable to view on it's own? You know, if you really had to.
