Must-watch: Absolutely
Uses the classic "It's a Wonderful Life" formula to show an alternate universe where Superman never landed in Smallville and the Justice League never formed. If you like wild alternate universes, this is pretty much the gold standard. - DirectorEthan SpauldingStarsJason O'MaraStuart AllanThomas GibsonBatman learns he has a violent, unruly pre-teen son, secretly raised by the terrorist group the League of Assassins.Quality: 3.5/5

Seriousness: 4/5
Must-Watch: Yes
While we still haven't gotten a complete adaptation of the Court of Owls story, this movie does a great job of depicting Talon's arc through the eyes of a young Damian Wayne. - DirectorJay OlivaStarsMatt RyanCamilla LuddingtonJason O'MaraBeings with supernatural powers join together to fight against supernatural villains. This team of supernatural beings include John Constantine, Zatanna and Jason Blood also known as the demon Etrigan.Quality: 4.5/5
Seriousness: 4/5
Must-Watch: Yes
This is probably the most undertated movie on this list. A group of of DC's B-list characters (and Batman for some reason) team up to fight demons. Features several of the best characters in DC, like John Constantine, Zatanna, and my personal favorite, Etrigon, an ancient demon who only speaks in rhymes. - DirectorSam LiuStarsRosario DawsonChristopher GorhamShemar MooreRobin is sent to work with the Teen Titans after his volatile behavior botches a Justice League mission. The Titans must then face Trigon after he possesses the League and threatens to conquer the world.Quality: 4/5
Seriousness: 3/5
Must-Watch: Yes
Again, don't let the title fool you. The Justice League barely shows up in this. This is a Teen Titans movie through-and-through. The plot is essentially background noise behind the character interactions. The real gold here is getting to watch the Titans just hang out and be teenagers. - DirectorJake CastorenaSam LiuStarsJerry O'ConnellRebecca RomijnRainn WilsonSuperman battles against an insurmountable foe named Doomsday.Quality: 4/5
Seriousness: 5/5

Seriousness: 2/5
Must-Watch: Hell Yes
My favorite movie on this list. It's rare to see DC make a plot this balls-to-the-walls bonkers and I love everything about it. R rated superhero movies are rare, so it's nice to see what writers come up when allowed total artistic freedom. If you like twists, turns, and double crosses, this has them in spades. Also, Deadshot is played by Christian Slater of all people, who's perfect in the role, and the villain is the Reverse freaking Flash, who's fantastic to see again. - DirectorJake CastorenaSam LiuStarsJerry O'ConnellRebecca RomijnRainn WilsonAfter the death of Superman, several new people present themselves as possible successors.Quality: 3.5/5
Seriousness: 3/5
Must-Watch: No
Great showcase of many of the lesser-known characters in the DC universe. - DirectorJustin CopelandStarsJason O'MaraJennifer MorrisonStuart AllanWhen threads from Batman's past begin to unravel, the race is on for him to crack Hush's deadly game. Strange alliances will form and shattering secrets will be revealed when Hush's silence is finally broken.Quality: 4/5
Seriousness: 5/5
Must-Watch: Yes
This is the only Batman movie on this list that's primarily about Bruce himself, rather than other Batman characters. We don't get to see much of his Bruce Wayne persona in animation, so it's nice to get some of that. Also, Hush is a properly menacing villain. - DirectorMatt PetersChristina SottaStarsRoger CrossRosario DawsonChristopher GorhamA Sequel to Justice League Dark (2017) involving Jack Kirby's New Gods.Quality: 5/5
Seriousness: 4/5
Must-Watch: Yes
I'm not sure why this movie is called "Justice League Dark" as Constantine and Zatanna are the only members of that team who show up in this movie. It's more like a massive crossover movie that features everyone from the Justice League to the Teen Titans to the Suicide Squad. If you watch this one, be sure to watch most of the movies on this list labeled "Must Watch" as this one is continuity-heavy and won't make sense if you haven't seen any of the others. - DirectorButch LukicStarsKevin ConroyMaria Canals-BarreraPhil LaMarrArrested and terminally ill, Lex Luthor breaks out of prison to assemble a team of supervillains to help him destroy the Justice League.
