"I want to go and follow the music, but you never know what you're going to find along the way." Another new official trailer has debuted for the documentary film titled In Restless Dreams: The Music of Paul Simon, the latest from Alex Gibney following his docs on The Forever Prisoner, and Boris Becker. This first premiered at the 2023 Toronto & London Film Festivals last fall, and is already streaming on MGM+ in the US (though we missed this when it first dropped). The film follows Paul Simon inside the studio making his new album Seven Psalms while looking back on his six-decade career with countless musical peaks from Sounds of Silence to Graceland. Gibney's In Restless Dreams is supposedly the definitive musical biography of Paul Simon, one of the greatest songwriters (and performers as well) in the history of rock 'n roll. It's yet another one of these music docs...

If you thought Lewis Hamilton’s ambitions were only about dominating the Formula One world, think again. Not only is Stevenage-born a master behind the wheel of a racing car, but he also aspires to conquer the silver screen.
During a recent GQ interview, the seven-time Formula One World Drivers’ Championship winner (joint-record) expressed a desire to focus on “film and fashion” after retiring from racing. And it now appears that his dream of co-starring in Top Gun 3 with Tom Cruise, who made his name as the hotshot pilot Maverick in the first Top Gun flick, may come true.

Holger Rune will contest the 2024 Brisbane International final, but it won't be against Rafael Nadal like he secretly hoped for.
Holger Rune never played against Rafael Nadal, and it's certainly a dream of his to do so one day. There was a decent chance it could have happened this week at the Atp 250 tournament in Brisbane, as Nadal was looking really sharp at the start, and Rune was the top seed.
Ultimately, Rune did his part by getting there, but Nadal was beaten by Jordan Thompson, so unfortunately, the two won't meet in the final of the competition. It will be the Dane against Grigor Dimitrov which is not bad, and it's actually a very solid final match between the two top seeds.
In any case, Rune himself was a bit disappointed that he wouldn't be facing Nadal in the final because he really hoped he would. He confirmed it...

Holger Rune recently shared his end-of-year post on social media, which included a list of goals for the upcoming season.
Rune broke the world's Top 10 for the first time in his young career at the 2022 Paris Masters when he shockingly defeated Novak Djokovic in the final. His exponential rise took him to a career-high ranking of World No. 4 - the highest peak of any Danish man in Atp history.
The 20-year-old is already looking ahead into the future, and it is so bright that it can almost hurt his eyes. Rune took to Instagram to send his best wishes for the new year but, most importantly, share his ambitions of eventually taking the next step in his career with his fans.

Holger Rune believes that he is ready to win a Grand Slam in 2024, as he started the new season with a pretty solid victory.
Rune played some really solid tennis at the start of the 2023 campaign in Australia, and he hopes to do even better this year. Stylistically, he's a pretty great fit Down Under where the faster courts suit his aggressive style of play.
The beginning of 2024 was good as he downed a tricky player in Max Purcell in three sets, which, while some might think was not ideal, was actually a really good win.
Rune was pushed in that match, and he responded accordingly, which will only give him confidence. In general, confidence is not something he has trouble with, but the solid finish to the year will add to that.

Holger Rune has announced that he is extending his arrangement with the Mouratoglou Academy.
The Danish No. 1 has created headlines off the court in recent months. In October, he hired six-time Grand Slam champion Boris Becker as his coach, and their partnership continues for the upcoming season.
In addition, Rune added a former coach of Roger Federer's to his team. That man was Severin Luthi, who was a part of the Swiss legend's team for 15 years, from 2007 to 2022.
Rune also practiced recently with the returning Rafael Nadal. The 20-year-old was complimentary of the Spaniard's level, and thinks he can challenge for big trophies. The Grand Slam quarterfinalist will hope he can do the same.
One collaboration that did end before the changes Rune made was having Patrick Mouratoglou as his coach. Serena Williams' former coach held that position with the Dane for 12 months.
That partnership ended after the US Open.

Holger Rune has been forced to hire a temporary coach following confirmation that Boris Becker and Severin Luthin will not make it to Australia in the opening week of 2024.
Rune tied Becker to a long-term contract after a successful stint as an interim coach last autumn when he parted ways with Patrick Mouratoglou. The young Dane went the extra mile to keep up with the growing list of tennis players working with two coaches.
Rune brought on board one of Roger Federer's former coaches, Severin Luthi, to work in tandem with Becker and help him compete for top honors in 2024. The coaching alliance with such a gaudy duo is expected to tap into Rune's real potential.
However, both Becker and Luthi won't travel with Rune for the first tournament of 2024 in Brisbane, where the 20-year-old is the top seed in a star-studded field featuring 22-time Grand Slam champion Rafael Nadal...

After a dominant 2023, Novak Djokovic has sprung into his step going into the new year, where he will look to repeat what he achieved during a record-setting season.
Last season, the race for the world's No. 1 ranking was mainly centered around Djokovic and Alcaraz, who exchanged that position no fewer than seven times before the 36-year-old sealed the deal at the Atp Finals in Turin.
But there is no shortage of challengers for the Serbian ace, and as many as five players will look to pounce should Djokovic stumble. And the perspicacious 24-time Grand Slam champion will need every kilojoule to fend off the challenge. So, who are those players?

Carlos Alcaraz didn't have an excellent second half of the 2023 Atp season, and many wondered whether his hype was oversold.
Truthfully and respectfully, it was not. The Big Three was never the norm for tennis, and Carlos Alcaraz's trajectory looked more like the Big Three than anything else. That tells you everything you need to know, but let's add a bit of glazing to the cake.
He's the youngest number one ever; he's a two-time Grand Slam champion, one of which came at Wimbledon, a major played on grass, a surface on which he's far from being a specialist.
He also bested Novak Djokovic in the final, becoming the first man in a decade to beat him on the Centre Court of Wimbledon. So, he certainly is not overhyped. The problem in the second half was a combination of injuries and an inability to find his best tennis.

Yibing Wu has named former Atp No. 6 Wayne Ferreira his new coach, but the retired South African star will not work alone.
The idea of working with two coaches has become a norm on the Atp Tour, with several established stars having at least two tennis coaches within their camps, outside of their hitting partners and physiotherapists.
Some Atp players in a dual partnership include Jannik Sinner, who works with Simone Vagnozzi and Darren Cahill. The pair won the men's tour's 2023 Coach of the Year award.
Greece's Stefanos Tsitsipas simultaneously worked with his father, Apostolos, and former Wimbledon finalist Mark Philippoussis, but that alliance was short-lived. World No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz works with Juan Carlos Ferrero and Samuel Lopez.

Holger Rune has been widely described as a confident player on the court because there is a lot of fearlessness in him.
There are various ways you can show respect on a tennis court. Some argue that giving your best against your opponent is a great way of showing respect despite a 6-0 6-0 scoreline looking very disrespectful.
Some argue that showing a certain dose of fear against a legendary player demonstrates your respect for him. In the case of Holger Rune, his respect mostly comes out through words.
When he's on the court, the Dane doesn't want to show any unnecessary respect, showing his confidence. That's gotten him in some trouble with fans in the past who perceived him to be quite cocky.
He dismissed those claims simply stating that he's very passionate about the court, which, to be fair, is true. Eurosport's Alex Corretja says his public...

Holger Rune has announced that one of Roger Federer's ex-coaches has been added to his team for the new season.
The Danish star already generated attention this year when six-time Grand Slam champion Boris Becker became his coach. Becker, who has made headlines recently with a war of words with Nick Kyrgios, will continue to coach Rune in 2024.
Adding someone of Severin Luthi's stature to work with Becker and the rest of Rune's team is an unexpected but exciting announcement for last year's Paris Masters champion.
Few other players can match the experience Rune now has in his camp. Luthi was a member of Federer's coaching team for 15 years. This was from 2007 until the Swiss legend's retirement from the sport in 2022, with Luthi becoming one of Federer's most trusted confidants on the Atp Tour.
Luthi was on Federer's coaching team for 11 of the 20 Grand Slams that the tennis legend won.

Nick Kyrgios is trying to back his point in the recent days, after he said that former legends would struggle today on the Atp Tour.
Only around a week ago, the Australian said that former legends wouldn't thrive in current days, saying the likes of Novak Djokovic would dominate against Pete Sampras.
As an example, Kyrgios used the speed of the first serve that players today reach, comparing it to slower serves in the past. However, one thing he forgot to consider is how much better equipment players have these days.
After his comments, Boris Becker responded swiftly, as he wasn't happy with the Australian's comments. It didn't take too long before Kyrgios responded, and since then, the two have exchanged quite a few messages on social media.
But now, another former world no. 1 joined the conversation. Two-time Grand Slam champion and Olympics gold medalist, Yevgeny Kafelnikov used a similar argument to Becker,...

Nick Kyrgios wasn't going to let Boris Becker's latest comment on him slide, which is why he responded on social media once more.
This year has been quite exciting in tennis, but nobody really thought that a clash between Kyrgios and Becker would happen. Well, it did, and it started when Kyrgios made some comments comparing eras in tennis and how today's players are better than those before.
Becker didn't take that kindly because he was one of the players Kyrgios named, and he responded to the Australian and then added more context in a recent Eurosport podcast. Kyrgios, of course, responded to Becker on social media once more.
Becker argued that players like himself allowed Kyrgios to live the way he does despite not playing for a full year. According to Becker, the former players elevated the sport to this level but Kyrgios wasn't having any of that.

Novak Djokovic has been utterly dominant this year, which shouldn't be happening, according to Boris Becker, who used to coach the 24-time Grand Slam champion years ago.

Rafael Nadal doesn't have sky-high expectations ahead of the 2024 Australian Open, according to Boris Becker, who previewed his chances.
Nadal is coming back to tennis one full year after he last played. The last time we saw him play was at the 2023 Australian Open, and the next time is going to be in Brisbane fairly soon.
It's going to be a very interesting comeback because, nobody, including Nadal, doesn't know what to really expect from it. He's been working hard and practicing for a while; however, playing real matches and practice matches is not the same thing.
Nadal has played down any kind of expectations a few times now, and it's deliberate, according to former player Boris Becker who talked about it in the 'Das Gelbe vom Ball' podcast.
I don't think his expectations for Melbourne are sky-high right now: if he wins a few matches there, good for him.

Boris Becker and Nick Kyrgios have been beefing on social media lately after the Australian commented about former tennis greats, including the German.
Kyrgios is an outspoken individual who doesn't particularly care whether you like that. He's going to tell you what he thinks, and he certainly did in a recent interview with the Athletic when he compared tennis eras.
While tennis stars are generally quite complimentary of past legends, Kyrgios dissed the legacy of Becker and others by implying that they would struggle today.
Obviously, the comments went viral, with some agreeing with him and some disagreeing with him. At face value, the quality of tennis today is probably greater than in the past as simply everything evolved.
There is better equipment, better training, and better nutrition today, so it's natural to assume that today's tennis players are superior to those in the past.
And yet, comparing eras doesn't work.

Holger Rune is not bothered by coach Boris Becker's past and admits his solitary job is to coach him and "not to do anything else."
Becker, a former World No. 1 and winner of six Grand Slam singles titles in a highly successful 16-year playing career, is considered among the greatest tennis players of all time. But he is living with a tainted off-court reputation following a criminal conviction by the UK courts in 2022.
The German tennis great declared bankruptcy in the UK in 2017 but failed to disclose to creditors and the bankruptcy trustee details of hidden assets and loans under his name.
Consequently, he was sentenced to two and half years in prison after being convicted of four charges under the Insolvency Act. Becker went through a chilling experience in a British prison last year for a period of eight months before he was deported to his homeland in December.

Holger Rune described Novak Djokovic's level of play at 36 as "unbelievable" and admitted it would be tough to challenge him if he sustained his form.
Djokovic was the Atp's best player in 2023 by a mile. Despite playing a shorter schedule than usual, he finished last season with the most titles on the Atp tour. The Serbian won seven titles, including three Grand Slams.
He is the first man to win three majors in a single season on four occasions, and had it not been for a shanked drive volley in the fifth set of this year's Wimbledon final, Djokovic would have, in all likelihood, completed the first Calendar Grand Slam by a male player since 1969.
Despite that miss, Djokovic was pleased with himself at the manner in which he played all season to fend off not just one, but multiple challengers along the way.
Djokovic outlasted Carlos Alcaraz in the year-end No.

Djokovic outlasted Carlos Alcaraz in the year-end No.

After a few weeks of rest, a bumper 11-month slog starts again on the Atp Tour in January, and plenty of men will fight for their first Grand Slam title.
For tennis fans, a Grand Slam tournament right at the start of a new season is akin to kids finding themselves in candy shops. And next year's Grand Slam tennis season promises to be highly competitive.
Novak Djokovic decimated the field in 2023, finishing with a 27-1 record at the four most coveted tennis tournaments. He is not going anywhere and will be the favorite to retain supremacy whenever he plays.
But there is a flock of contenders, among them potential first-time Grand Slam winners. In this article, we will highlight the five men projected to do that.

Recently, Nick Kyrgios made an interesting statement that got many former tennis players, and tennis coaches talking.
Currently absent from the Atp Tour, the Australian has spent some time doing media duties, talking to multiple publications and appearing on numerous podcasts while recovering from an injury.
On one of those appearances, Kyrgios said that Novak Djokovic would destroy the likes of Pete Sampras, claiming that many former tennis greats would struggle in this era.
However, many quickly started discussing whether Kyrgios' comments were fair since eras are difficult to compare, and one of the former players who jumped in was Boris Becker, who immediately called out the Australian's "credibility."
But he wasn't the only one, as Serena Williams' former coach and former doubles world no. 1, Rennae Stubbs, also commented on the matter, supporting Becker's claims about eras being incomparable.

Nick Kyrgios and Boris Becker both like to be respected, and that clearly showed in their recent spat on social media.
The 28-year-old made quite a few media appearances over the past few weeks, and during one of those, Kyrgios made a claim about past generations of players, saying they wouldn't stand a chance today.
One of the past leaders on the Atp Tour, Boris Becker, didn't like that statement, and he made sure to voice his opinion on social media, saying that Kyrgios has no "credibility" because he has never won a singles Grand Slam title.
That was a statement that the Australian didn't like, and he immediately hit back at the German coach with a series of tweets, trying to prove his statement about credibility wrong.

Boris Becker did not like the latest comments made by Nick Kyrgios, and he made sure that his opinion would be heard.
Recently, the Australian tennis player has been quite active in the media space, even announcing the launch of his new OnlyFans profile. He's made many interesting statements, but one wasn't appreciated by former world no. 1 on the Atp Tour, Boris Becker.
When comparing the previous generations and the current players, Kyrgios claimed that Novak Djokovic would destroy the majority of previous generations, mentioning Boris Becker's name along the way.
The German coach saw his comments, and didn't really appreciate them. He took to X (formerly Twitter) and hit back at Kyrgios, who according to him doesn't have "any credibility" since he hasn't won a Grand Slam title in his career, apart from the 2022 Australian Open doubles triumph.

Nick Kyrgios made a contentious claim while comparing the sport of tennis between two different generations and eras.
Throughout his career, Kyrgios has always been synonymous with speaking his mind irrespective of how much stick he receives from the internet. As such, he's been a polarizing figure in tennis and has never shied from making controversial statements on many tennis-related topics.
Recently, he sat down for an interview with the Athletic, where he made comparisons of today's game with the decades gone by. Kyrgios believes modern tennis is better because it is being played in a fast-paced environment.
The Australian tennis star is of the notion that tennis has evolved significantly, so much so that you could easily spot even the serving speeds of the players in the past decades to those of the current era.

The 2024 Brisbane International will act as the official curtain raiser of the men's tennis season, running from December 31, 2023, till January 7, 2024.
The Brisbane International will be played on outdoor hard courts and feature a 32-player singles draw. Twenty-one players have qualified based on actual ranking, while three players (one of whom is confirmed) will enter as wild cards. Six players will join from the qualifying rounds.
After a four-year absence, tennis action returns to Queensland state, which will boast a star-studded lineup in its 12th edition, with the acquisition of several of the world's best tennis players. Based on prestige, charisma, and accomplishment, no active players can match Rafael Nadal.
The Spaniard will emotionally return after a long-term injury at the Brisbane International, and he'll undoubtedly be the headline act. Despite his expected rankings drop, Nadal has been offered a wild card to play the event as he targets getting in shape before the Australian Open.

Carlos Alcaraz is one of the best players on the Atp Tour, yet, the end of his 2023 campaign was a disappointment to some.
After winning his second Grand Slam title at Wimbledon, the young Spanish prodigy didn't add any more titles to his collection, which was something else than many expected.
However, according to Rick Macci, who spoke exclusively to Tennis Infinity, the Spaniard's progress is gradual, and many moments during this season showed why he's such a good player.
For example, at Wimbledon, he had to escape multiple challenging situations, and in the end, he managed to beat Novak Djokovic in the final, which according to Macci, shows his greatness.
"As I said, three years ago, it's something the world hadn't seen. He's something, in my opinion, that is very unique. He never played that much on grass, and then he made some Houdini escapes at Wimbledon, and then...

Holger Rune hired Boris Becker not too long ago, and the Dane has been pretty content with the way the relationship has panned out so far.
Rune hired Becker at probably the lowest point of his professional career. He struggled tremendously over the summer, losing multiple matches and holding a 1-9 record in his last ten matches at the time.
Then, he hired the German before the European indoor season, a part of the calendar that Rune dominated the year before. His performances steadily improved and he was able to find himself among the best at the Atp Finals.
The credit went to Becker, who changed Rune's approach. According to Becker, the youngster's mentality wasn't very good, and his game suffered.

Few challenges in sport are quite as daunting as facing Novak Djokovic in the Australian Open final, which is why Holger Rune called it his "dream match to win."

Nick Kyrgios has slammed Boris Becker in light of his recent eyebrow-raising comments about Carlos Alcaraz's development.
The German tennis great claimed on a Eurosport Germany tennis podcast that other players have become accustomed to what they needed to do to play the young Spaniard. Alcaraz has lost eight times since Wimbledon, which is a stark contrast to the first half of the season when he lost four matches.
The time period after Wimbledon was evidence that Alcaraz was not developing, according to Becker. During his "slump," Alcaraz lost three successive matches for the first time since March 2021, with the most devastating of those coming in Paris-Bercy.
While Alcaraz's productivity waned after Wimbledon - with no titles to show for his effort - it is still quite a preposterous claim by Becker. Alcaraz still forged some very strong results in the second half of the season. He came within...

Angelique Kerber is returning to tennis in January, and Boris Becker is excited to see whether Kerber can do some damage.
Angelique Kerber was a fantastic tennis player at her peak. She was the last German number one on the Wta Tour, which Becker mentioned in his talk with Eurosport.
The former legendary player is excited to see what damage she can do after her return. The absence was due to a pregnancy, of course, a pregnancy that went well.
Soon after giving birth, Kerber returned to practice, wanting to prove herself again. While not the youngest anymore, she's certain that she has what it takes to emulate some of the things other mothers like Elina Svitolina and compatriot Tatjana Maria were able to do.

According to Boris Becker, other players have caught up to Carlos Alcaraz, who sees the dip in form as a result of him simply not evolving at the pace of other players.
It's a very interesting take by Becker, who is obviously a very smart tennis mind. We've seen his impact on the player of Holger Rune as he swiftly fixed some of the issues that plagued the Danish rising star for months.
Alcaraz had a tremendous rise last year, with every match he played seemingly featuring a much better player than he had been in the previous round. The rise just kept going and going, and it never really stopped. Or did it?
The grass season was probably the last time Alcaraz really took a huge step. He won Wimbledon, which was a tremendous achievement, but since then, not much has happened.
We've seen Alexander Zverev step up. Daniil Medvedev found his form again.

Alexander Zverev had a really fascinating season in 2023, and Boris Becker thinks he doesn't get enough respect.
Alexander Zverev is one of those players most people know is really good, but very few people actually know how good he is. Part of that is his own doing with some inconsistent results, but part of it is his injury.
He was peaking at a really high-level last year when he broke his ankle, and it derailed him quite a bit. The comeback this year was very shaky at the start, but then he found his level again and played very well to finish the year.
It was somewhat fascinating to see him finish so strongly and find himself at the 2023 Atp Finals in Turin but he did. It's worthy of respect, one that he doesn't get, according to Becker.
Of course, he, as a German, would know Zverev better than most.

Holger Rune hired Boris Becker as coach recently, and they'll continue next year, and Alexander Zverev gave his verdict on the pairing.
It was a rather strange pairing because nobody really saw it coming. Becker didn't have any tennis appointment at the time, so he was available, but he hasn't been in coaching for a while, so a sudden return seemed unlikely.
It looked even less likely to be with Rune, who parted with Patrick Mouratoglou pretty recently. Everybody just assumed that he would go back to his old coach, but no, he actually threw a curveball going with Becker.
It wasn't a bad decision as he started to play better, something he said was due to Becker. Some have already pointed out how they are a pretty good match, and Zverev certainly thinks it's a pairing that can work.

Boris Becker has signed the dotted line to take over as Holger Rune's full-time coach for the 2024 season after confirming an extension to their initial agreement.
Becker's confirmation comes just a couple of days from the official announcement by Rune's camp, which was done in writing by the Dane's mother, Aneke Rune. In her statement, Aneke was happy that they found a "good setup" through Becker's expertise for Holger to develop as a player.
The German great was initially assigned a temporary role in the team to cushion and salvage Rune's 2023 season following the dismissal of Patrick Mouratoglou as coach. Rune confirmed that his alliance with Becker was meant to last until the end of the season.
Becker's first main task at the helm was to turn around Rune's famine run of one win in 11 matches across all competitions, which he did at the first time of asking in Basel.

Sinner duly delivered in front of a sold-out crowd inside the Pala Alpitour in Turin. Considering the circumstances, the 22-year-old labeled it as the best win of his young career so far. Sinner struck 37 winners in the match and saved two of three break points to close out a three-hour epic 7-5, 6-7, 7-6.
Aside from blowing the group wide open, defeat had a peculiar meaning for Djokovic who lost for the first time since the Wimbledon final in July. On that occasion, it was Carlos Alcaraz who staged one of the most incredible comebacks to snatch a second Grand Slam title in London.

Holger Rune jumped on Stefanos Tsitsipas' defense after the Greek star was criticized for retiring too early into their clash at the 2023 Atp Finals.
Rune and Tsitsipas squared off in the second group-stage match at the Atp Finals in Turin on Tuesday in a pivotal match. Both players lost their opening matches to kick off the tournament and sought a first round-robin.
Rune, who is making his tournament debut having qualified for the first time, was a slight favorite going into the match after a fantastic run of results in his last two tournaments following the appointment of Boris Becker as his new coach.
Tsitsipas, for his part, arrived on the scene with doubts regarding his elbow. He had reportedly stopped practicing for a couple of days before the tournament started, although he allayed such fears following his defeat to Jannik Sinner on Sunday. But Tsitsipas' body let him down on Tuesday afternoon.

Boris Becker never thought he'd spend time in prison many years ago, but it happened and shifted his perspective forever.
Becker was once a highly respected individual, and while his reputation took a hit with the sentencing and prison time, the former German Atp player is still grateful for the experience.
It was a challenging experience for him, one which he spoke about often since coming out, but it also shifted his perspective. It allowed him to self-reflect, and here he is, rebuilding his reputation as a tennis person first and foremost.
He's coaching Holger Rune as of recently, and he's doing a pretty fine job. Rune credits him for pulling him out of a major slump, which helped him find himself in Turin. He talked about his experience in a recent interview with L'Equipe.
You are nobody in prison. You are just a number. Mine was A2923EV. I wasn't called Boris.

Holger Rune hired Boris Becker recently, and he's been quite happy with the progress in recent weeks, even though he's still losing matches.
Losing to Novak Djokovic at the Atp Finals is hardly the most disappointing thing you can do in tennis. Just being at the Atp Finals is a huge deal for Rune, who earned his place with a late-season push.
It happened literally in the weeks leading up to the Atp Finals after Rune struggled for multiple weeks before. He was 1-9 in his last 10 matches ahead of Becker taking over and it's been a really solid time since then.
He's playing better and better and, more importantly, found his confidence again. Some have described the partnership as a match made in heaven, and so far, that rings true. As for Rune, he gave his verdict after his maiden Atp Finals match.
It's great. It's really good. I mean,...

In the past, Djokovic revealed his long-term ambitions once he hangs up his racket, and he could see himself coaching in the future. He was quoted saying, "Knowledge can be a curse if you do not use it, what is the point then?...

Holger Rune shared a photo of himself in transit to Turin to compete at the Atp Finals, but tennis fans were bewildered at how different he looked.
In a post he shared on Instagram, the Danish star was wearing a beanie hat that covered the entire top part of his head, seemingly on a flight to Italy. Rune is among the Top 8 players who have qualified for the prestigious year-end championships. It will be the first time he will play at this event.
The draw for the Atp Finals has been released with the first round-robin match scheduled to start on Sunday, November 12. Rune landed in the same group as defending champion Novak Djokovic who defeated him at his last tournament in Paris, fourth seed Jannik Sinner, and sixth seed Stefanos Tsitsipas.
Rune's look raised plenty of eyebrows on social media with several fans confused on whether it was actually him.

Iga Swiatek concluded a pretty good week in Mexico by winning the Wta Finals, and the champion had some words to say.
The event faced a lot of criticism overall, considering that it was a logistical nightmare. There was bad weather that completely wrecked the schedule on top of the event not being effectively organized.
Players arrived a few days before the start of the event only to find that the venue wasn't even built. They had no access to the official court until a day before the event, with each getting just one practice on it.
The rushed nature of it all resulted in a pretty lacklustre court with all sorts of bad bounces. Multiple players spoke up about it, and Swiatek elected to speak up after it all concluded.
We are participating in a season that is very taxing, and the next one will be even more intense.

Holger Rune noted the marked improvement since appointing Boris Becker as his new coach and thanked the German great for steering him out of the mire.
Rune endured his worst sequence of results on the Atp Tour between mid-July and October. The Dane lost 10 of 11 matches at all levels, including the first round of the US Open to Roberto Carballes Baena - a defeat that led him to part ways with French coach Patrick Mouratoglou.
Soon after the French coach departed his camp, Rune's mother made upsetting claims of a clash of egos between Mouratoglou and Lars Christensen, who served as Rune's longtime coach.
Aside from a complicated relationship with his coaches, the 20-year-old had struggled to stay fit in the aforementioned famine period where he lost matches left, right, and center. The strain of playing non-stop tennis affected his back and even retired in the build-up to the US...
