- James A. Osmond was involved in the casting of the ABC Movie Of The Week titled 'Inside The Osmonds' and he hand picked Taylor to play Young Jimmy Osmond.
- In 2009, Taylor won the prestigious Songwriter's Association Of Canada Award for 'Best Songwriting'.
- Taylor is also a prolific musician. In 2010, he released two triple albums of home demo original songs online, including the understated 'Here's Some Songs', and 'The Best Of Taylor... For Tape: 2009-2007', the latter with 89 tracks, and bonus material from 2010. He hopes to release a normal-length album next.

- In 2014, out of hundreds of acts, won the Landmark Events Showcase competition with his music duo 'Taylor & Bryn'.
- In 2015, Taylor co-leads an acclaimed Songwriting workshop, 'The Song Creation Workshop' in Toronto, Ontario. He also contributed heavily to the Amazon #1 Best-Selling book 'The Song Creation Formula'.
