Drew Carey compared seeing Phish at the Sphere in Las Vegas as akin to “being edged for four days straight. And then right before the face-melting climax at the end of the fourth day, an angel comes down from heaven, Gabriel, and he shoots f–king heroin in your arm, and he says, ‘Good luck now motherf–er!’ And he leaves, and you have an orgasm for 15 minutes while your eyeballs fall out of your head!” The Price is Right host also said he would “stick my dick in a blender and swear off pussy for the rest of my life” to see the band at Sphere again.”
While it remains to be seen if Phish will return to the $2.3 billion venue for a run of shows, if the event that they do, Carey has a blender ready to go. In response to his viral reaction, the jam band gifted him an autographed blender.

It’s a little after midnight on the opening night of Phish’s sold-out run at the Sphere, and the northern lights are shining bright over Sin City.

Todd Phillips’s hotly anticipated supervillain sequel “Joker: Folie à Deux” has secured itself an R rating from the MPA, as per Deadline. This is not too much of a surprise, as the 2019 smash “Joker” remains the top-grossing R-rated picture in history. Somewhat surprising, however, was the reason given by the “we’re not a censorship organization” censorship organization.
In addition to “strong violence”, “language” (sure), and “some sexuality” (okay), the group cited “brief full nudity.” Full, eh? Just how much of a clown show will we be seeing here?
“Joker: Folie à Deux”’s big draw for most audiences will be Lady Gaga’s turn as Harlene Quinzel (aka Harley Quinn) the Bugs Bunny-like psychiatrist who falls in love with the Clown Prince of Crime. Margot Robbie played the fan-favorite character in the “Suicide Squad” and “Birds of Prey” films, while Kaley Cuoco voices her in the not-for-kids animated series.

The festival, which has already hosted names as big as Pearl Jam and Foo Fighters (and will feature Noah Kahan as headliner the night before Springsteen), was founded in 2018 by famed photographer and Jersey native Danny Clinch...

For four days only, Phish will be performing at the Sphere in Las Vegas this year.
This is the first time Phish performs for their fans at the Sphere and what makes these four shows even more special is that each show will have a different setlist and visuals.
Though they will only be in Las Vegas for a limited time, later this summer, the 80s rock band will be in Delaware for Mondegreen, another four-day set of concerts.
Hailing from Burlington, Vermont, Phish banded together in 1983. Guitarist Trey Anastasio, bassist Mike Gordon, drummer Jon Fishman and keyboardist Page McConnell make up the Grammy-nominated band.
The band’s popularity rose in the mid-90s but suffered two disbandments in the early 2000s. However, in 2008, the band reconciled and has been performing together ever since.

Matty Healy deactivated his Twitter account after apparently drawing the ire of Lucy Dacus by posting an ignorant, ableist joke on the social media platform.
In a since-deleted tweet posted to the account @mattyfrnglomg (which is believed to belong to Healy), the singer wrote: “I told Lucy Dacus that ‘Boygenius’ had inspired me and [drummer] George [Daniel] to start a new band called ‘Girlretard’. I don’t really hear from her that often.”
After invoking her supergroup trio, Dacus set the record straight on the frequency of her correspondence with Healy by replying, “you don’t hear from me at all.” In a separate tweet, Healy issued one last message in retreat, saying “Yeah this never goes well does it” before deactivating the account. See Dacus’ still-standing burn below.
While Healy’s outspoken comments have historically ranged from well-intentioned but misguided to flagrantly insensitive, his latest veered heavily toward the latter.

The Peach Music Festival has announced its 2023 lineup. The 11th installment of the festival, inspired by the Allman Brothers Band, features a roster of bands that color way outside the margins: Goose, Tedeschi Trucks Band, My Morning Jacket, and Ween will each headline a night of the four-day camping fest.
Set for June 29 through July 2 at its longtime home of Montage Mountain in Scranton, Pennsylvania, the Peach nods to its Allman Brothers originators with a special performance by Trouble No More — the Allmans-approved tribute band that re-creates the group’s music.

Rolling Stone‘s interview series King for a Day features long-form conversations between senior writer Andy Greene and singers who had the difficult job of fronting major rock bands after the departure of an iconic vocalist. Some of them stayed in their bands for years, while others lasted just a few months. In the end, however, they all found out that replacement singers can themselves be replaced. This edition features former Furthur singer John Kadlecik.

“The Matrix Resurrections” has breathed new life into a political debate.
On January 27, Chinese nationalists threatened to boycott the fourth installment of the “Matrix” franchise after star Keanu Reeves joined the Tibet House U.S. Benefit Concert in March.
“Resurrections,” which had its U.S. premiere December 18, has already grossed $12.3 million after a 14-day release in China, according to Endata (via Variety).
“How can Keanu Reeves not understand this and take part in a pro-Tibet independence concert?” CHINAD8, an account on Chinese social media site Weibo, posted January 21. “Aren’t these celebrities afraid of losing the China market?”
The backlash from Chinese patriots, who collectively identify as “little pinks,” could potentially impact the box office numbers in China.
“The film [‘The Matrix Resurrections’] can be taken down now,” another Weibo user wrote. “Get out of the Chinese market, thank you.”

Chinese nationalists are threatening to boycott the recently-released sci-fi blockbuster “The Matrix: Resurrections” as news about its star Keanu Reeves joining the Tibet House U.S. Benefit Concert in March spread across mainland China social media.
The backlash from angry Chinese patriots known as “little pinks,” the term for an informal army of young nationalists who often make “wolf warrior” style of pro-Beijing, anti-foreign comments, could finish off the box office run of the fourth instalment of “The Matrix” series.
Its performance has already been mediocre and it will likely be sidelined from Tuesday next week when eight major Chinese titles open in time for Lunar New Year holidays. Figures from Endata show that the film has grossed RMB78 million ($12.3 million) after a 14-day release.
The film also received lowball fan support. It had a rating of 5.7 out of 10 on movie website Douban with nearly 75,000 scores counted. It earned a...
