Tuca won English Culture Award of Theater for best actor for his role
in the play "Rocky Horror Show" (1995).
He was nominated for a Mambembe Award for best actor in a childhood
show for the play "O Pequeno Grão de Areia" (1987).
He was nominated for a SATED/RJ Award for revelation actor for his role
in the novel "O Dono do Mundo" (1991).
Tuca's biggest theater success was the play "Orlando Silva" where he
played Orlando Silva, a very famous Brazilian singer. The play had more than
10 million spectators only in São Paulo.
He is acting in the novela "Da cor do pecado" ("The color
of sin") in the role of Kaike, a sensitive father (July 2004)
