Strictly Come Dancing will be booted from its usual Saturday night spot during the 2022 World Cup.
The dance competition series is broadcast live on Saturday nights, with the pre-recorded results show airing on Sundays.
However, with the World Cup kicking off in Qatar at the end of November, the Strictly quarter and semi finals will be moved from their usual spot.
The quarter final will now take place on Friday 2 December, while the semi final will be on Sunday 11 December.
The final will still take place on Saturday 17 December as planned.
A Strictly spokesperson confirmed to The Independent: “Strictly Come Dancing will continue to bring glitter, glamour and glorious dancing to homes across the nation throughout the 2022 FIFA World Cup.”

Strictly Come Dancing fans have claimed that Sunday (30 October) night’s elmination was “unfair” on one contestant.
EastEnders star James Bye was the latest celebrity to hand in their dancing shoes after he found himself in the bottom two with singer Fleur East.
Strictly fans took to Twitter to express their disappointment at the result and claimed the actor was stitched up by his song choice and costume.
James and professional partner Amy Dowden danced the Charleston to “Bumble Bee” by Lavern Baker, complete with bee costumes, for a Halloween-themed show. The relevence of the choices, however, left some fans confused.
“I think James was ill-served by the song and theme this week. The bumblebee thing is ridiculous and not at all Halloween and nobody knows the song,” wrote one viewer.
“I do feel sorry for James and Amy... they were given an awful song, weak choreography and poor costume,...

James Bye has become the fifth celebrity to leave the ongoing 20th series of Strictly Come Dancing.
The EastEnders star was eliminated on Sunday 30 October along with partner Amy Dowden, after facing off against Fleur East and Vito Coppola in the dance-off.
For Halloween Week, Bye and Dowden performed the Charleston to “Bumble Bee” by Lavern Baker, but the judges ultimately ruled in favour of East.
All four judges voted in favour of East, with Craig Revel Horwood saying: “Well, it’s my responsibility to save the better dancer and the better dancer tonight for me was Fleur and Vito.”
“For me, there were different levels of dancing on the dance floor, and I have decided to save Fleur and Vito,” ruled Motsi Mabuse.
Confirming the verdict, Anton Du Beke said: “I thought both couples danced better on Saturday night. They didn’t reproduce their best performance, but it doesn...

In 1980, J. Hoberman and Jonathan Rosenbaum began an exploration into those elusive films that could only be seen at the witching hour—a time when most theaters were closed and, it was implied, most decent people were home in bed. Published in 1983, their book was a catalogue of curios that defied categorization until Rosenbaum and Hoberman named them: Midnight Movies. But even alongside renegade efforts like Jodorowsky’s El Topo and Jack Smith’s Flaming Creatures, John Waters’ Pink Flamingos stood out as the tarnished gold standard for transgressive entertainment; it felt then, and it feels now, like a genuinely lawless movie—as of this writing, it remains banned in the town of Hicksville, New York.
