The View fans have recently asked for a shakeup, and it seems like Claudia Jordan is throwing her hat into the ring as a potential host.
Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar have teased retirement, and if that happens, some think younger hosts would be a good idea.
Claudia Jordan has been promoting herself and networking with several of the co-hosts on The View lately in the hopes that she will be included on a list of potential candidates.
Claudia was on Deal or No Deal Island, and while she was eliminated early on, fans thought she’d be great on The View and were not afraid to say that on social media.
Now she’s been socializing with several of The View’s ladies and other talk show hosts at an event for Derick Monroe, a celebrity stylist known for working on The View’s ladies.

Comedian and long-time television personality Joy Behar has been opening up about her family history and how it shaped her personality and on-screen persona. The View co-host appeared on the show’s spinoff podcast, Behind The Table, where she spoke to executive producer Brian Teta about her long career and ability to get away with saying things most cannot. “You’re famously blunt,” Teta told the Daytime Emmy Award winner, per Closer. Behar, however, had a different perspective, quipping, “I would say tactless better than blunt.” She revealed she learned to be that way from her Aunt Rose, explaining, “As my aunt would say, ‘I tell the truth no matter who I may offend’… But no, I do have my limits on what I will say to people. I keep my mouth shut when I have to. It’s amazing how much I get away with. Why is that?” Teta...

It’s been a buzzy couple of days for Barbra Streisand amid her since-deleted Instagram comment asking Melissa McCarthy if she was on Ozempic. While some have raised eyebrows, The View‘s Joy Behar has come to the Broadway star’s defense. For those who aren’t caught up: on April 29, McCarthy posted a photo on Instagram of herself attending the Center Theatre Group gala with Hairspray director Adam Shankman. Her more observant followers noticed one comment amid the thousands that stood out in particular: “Give him my regards did you take Ozempic?” posted by none other than the 82-year-old Egot winner Streisand. The seemingly out-of-pocket comment has sparked leagues of discourse all over the internet, amidst fans, haters, and fellow celebrities. In a discussion on the matter during The View, cohost Behar spoke her mind, uniquely coming to Streisand’s defense. “As far as asking someone that question, I...

Now that The View is back after a week off for their spring break, it is great to catch up with the ladies.
Fans were upset with the previously recorded episodes of The View and The View: Behind the Table podcast for an entire week.
During a recent episode with Sara Haines, Brian Teta mentioned on the podcast that fans feel the hosts should never get time off, especially during a hot political time in America.
He was adamant in defending their time off, and rightly so. The ladies all deserve some much-needed spring break time. Sunny Hostin and Ana Navarro stayed home while the others traveled.
When Sara Haines stopped by the podcast to share her vacation with her husband, she offered some surprising information about going away without her children.

The View has been airing repeats all week, and fans are ready for new episodes to watch.
The hardworking ladies have taken a much-needed hiatus for Spring Break, leaving everyone with a week of rerun episodes.
By taking this time away from filming The View, the ladies should be coming back next week refreshed and ready to take on the hot topics robustly.
Fans were upset with the extended break the ladies took for Christmas. The last half of December was mostly old episodes, as reported by Monsters and Critics.
A few ladies have checked in on social media this week, letting fans know where they have been on vacation, while others have gone dark on the internet.

While some surprises can be nice, The View fans were not okay with the network’s latest decisions. Recently, fans expressed their anger over the latest episode that was aired.
Scheduling Shake-Up
Unexpectedly, The View had a major scheduling mix-up that left fans up in arms. When the fans went to watch their regularly scheduled program, they were in for a rude awakening. Unbeknownst to them, the panelists were taking some time off the air. Little did they know, the episode airing was a month-old replay, but fans caught on quickly. Understandably, the sneaky move left many fans raging upon the discovery of the show not being live. Although fans are enraged, the daytime TV network is offering a return date to appease the masses in the meantime.

Knowing when there will be reruns or previously recorded episodes is very important for fans of The View.
Everyone loves tuning in to see what the popular show hosts will discuss next, and it is a great disappointment when The View is not new.
Earthquakes, fires at nearby studios, and even an eclipse cannot keep the ladies from their seats, as they’ve proven this month.
However, as fans have started to speculate, a yearly phenomenon called “spring break” causes them to take an earned and much-needed vacation from the show.
Friday’s show was previously recorded, so the gang may have already started on their vacation.
Brian Teta, the show’s executive producer, shared some news about next week’s plans on his podcast, The View: Behind the Table.

Will The View return for Season 28 this fall, and if not, what will take its place? Many fans may ask that question after surprising news about The Talk.
When one talk show is canceled, fans wonder if their favorite one will be axed, too, and The View fans may wonder how it is doing and if it will be renewed.
The Talk, which seemed created to compete with The View, will end its run in December with Season 15.

The View has not yet been renewed for Season 28, and that news may not come until later that summer, like last year. However, there are clues that the renewal will come soon.

There was little love for the divorcing Golden Bachelor couple on The View today, as the cohosts on ABC’s daytime talker took aim at ABC’s romance-for-seniors reality show.
“For six months you tortured me every Friday and made me talk about this topic, which I can’t stand because I think it’s manufactured and a complete crock,” said Ana Navarro about the View‘s weekly Golden Bachelor post-mortems. “So today I get to say, I told you so, I told you so, I told you so.”
Earlier today on ABC’s Good Morning America, Golden Bachelor couple Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist announced that they are getting a divorce just three months after their much-hyped televised wedding in January.
Navarro had previously spoken about her dislike for the Bachelor show and the genre, but cohost Sunny Hostin had been a fan. Past tense.

The View hosts had a lot to say about Friday’s news that The Golden Bachelor‘s Gerry Turner and Theresa Nist are ending their marriage, just three months after their ABC-televised wedding. For some of them, the news was unexpected, but for Ana Navarro it was completely foreseeable and a cause to celebrate. “For six months, you tortured me every Friday and made me talk about this topic — which I can’t stand because I think it’s manufactured and a complete crock — and today I get to say, ‘I told you so, I told you so, I told you so,” Navarro told her cohorts with a happy dance in her chair. The View‘s “Hot Topics” segment got a bit personal for several of the cohosts, especially Sunny Hostin. In the episode, Hostin, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, and Alyssa Farah Griffin (note: Sara Haines was absen t Tuesday) talked about a viral video in which a woman contended that she was accused of not putting enough effort into her appearance by not wearing makeup. “I think that’s hard to tell [someone] because no one would ever ask a man why his face wasn’t made up, ever,” Goldberg said in reaction. “And to me, if I’m working on a pole, then you can talk to me about makeup. But if I’m working in a capacity where I have to talk to people and stuff, what does my face have to do with this? What does my makeup have to do with it?” Goldberg’s words were greeted with uproarious applause from the audience.

Joy Behar is not a fan of Dolly Parton‘s “Jolene,” even though it’s the original. She much rather prefers Beyoncé’s version for its power and anger.

You see, while Dolly’s version begged this beautiful and seductive Jolene to not take her man, Beyoncé’s version warned that there’ll be consequences should she even make moves to take her man. For this reason, Behar believes that one of these two songs is “anti-feminist.”

Joy Behar is not afraid to speak her mind, whether it means calling a woman a bitch during her European vacation or criticizing a country music legend on a popular podcast.

The View got off to a fiery start on Monday morning as the cohosts — particularly Whoopi Goldberg and Joy Behar — got to work batting down one conspiracy theory after another related to the solar eclipse that’s crossing the nation, just days after they experienced a sizable earthquake in New York City. As always, the opening music was a tribute to the occasion, as they walked onto the stage to the tune of The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights.” Then, they encouraged audiences to wear special eclipse-specific sunglasses to avoid being, well, blinded by the light. “You will not be blinded by the light unless you do something dumb like this,” Goldberg said, while pointing to a photo of then-President Donald Trump staring at the sky without his own eye protection. “Unless you know that the glasses you have are eclipse glasses, do not put them on to look at the sun.

The ladies on The View must be ready for almost anything on their show, from comedian Joy Behar’s insensitive jokes to Whoopi Goldberg having to shut down people trying to disrupt filming.
This time, an act of nature caused a massive disruption to the live filming of The View.
A 4.8-magnitude earthquake hit New Jersey and New York, among other states, at 10:23 a.m. Et, as reported by USA Today.
The View films live most days at 11 a.m. Et. The ladies were all backstage preparing for the show during the earthquake.
The show began normally after the shake-up, but the calmness would not last long.
Just after the song, I Feel the Earth Move by Carole King played, things went haywire.

Reba McEntire jumped to good friend Dolly Parton’s defense after The View co-host Joy Behar insulted the country music icon. Why would the journalist have anything negative to say about the “9 to 5” singer? Keep reading for all the details on the feud.
The View Co-Host Shades Dolly Parton
Pop singer Beyoncé released her first country album last month to mixed reviews. One of the tracks on the Cowboy Carter is a cover of Dolly Parton’s major hit “Jolene.” Beyoncé didn’t stay with the original lyrics, however. Dolly’s version begs Jolene not to take her man. Beyoncé’s version takes a more aggressive approach, practically daring Jolene to even try.
Beyoncé’s version opens with the verse, “Jolene, Jolene, Jolene, Jolene/I’m warning you, don’t come for my man.”
Some diehard Dolly Parton fans were offended that the R&b singer changed the lyrics. However,...

It was no ordinary start of the day for The View on Friday morning. The co-hosts of the show sauntered out onto the soundstage to the tune of Carole King’s “I Feel the Earth Move” this time because they’d all just endured the same 4.8 magnitude earthquake that the rest of the New York-New Jersey region did just before the show began. The earthquake struck at 10:23 a.m. Et, while each of the cohosts was in her dressing room. As the show began, they started by immediately chatting about the tremors … until they were interrupted by ear-splitting emergency alerts on their phones right then and ther “Did you all feel it?” Joy Behar asked the crowd as the alarm bells rang out. “Make it stop!” she said as she tried to hush the sharp buzzing. After they silenced the noise, they went on to discuss what happened to...

Update, with video: The View‘s Hot Topics took on a whole new meaning today when the co-hosts weighed in on the recent controversy over the claim of a TikTok user who insists that Saturday Night Live “has never hired a hot woman” as a cast member.

“First of all, it’s a comedy show not a beauty pageant,” Behar said. “It’s not for men to ogle women who are trying to get a laugh.”

Behar then said that being overtly sexy can interfere with joke-telling. “No one’s going to laugh at what you say if they’re too busy looking at your boobs,” she said.

Fans of The View tune in to see the ladies, led by Whoopi Goldberg, discuss the hot topics of the day, each giving their own take on situations.
The show occasionally has musical guests or cooking segments like Joy Behar and her lasagna. These are nice breaks between the heavy politics that are the mainstay.
One segment has fans tuning out as soon as it comes on, which is unfortunate for the popular talk show.
Recently, on Reddit, fans took the show to task over a segment that not many people like.
The View Your Deal segment is taking some heat on social media for a couple of reasons that fans agree on, and it’s not a good look for The View.
The segment includes ladies like Sara Haines or Sunny Hostin hawking discounted wares to the viewers, but some are annoyed with that portion of the show.

On The View this week, Joy Behar seemed to drop a spoiler about a huge movie role for Whoopi Goldberg. It came when the team interviewed Zoë Saldaña and Marco Perego about their movie, The Absence of Eden.
Joy Behar Makes A Mistake On The Talk Show?
When the co-host talked about Whoopi, she might have been wrong to do that. Perhaps, as fans suspect, she should think about retiring and focusing on her writing and comedy show. While that sounds a bit harsh, there are plenty of retirement rumors. Talk shows can be time-consuming and exhausting, especially when the hosts have other commitments.

Joy Behar said she once auditioned for Saturday Night Live, but it didn’t necessarily go as planned.
The comedian and co-host of ABC’s The View shared on the daytime talk show’s companion podcast The View: Behind the Table Wednesday that she auditioned for the sketch comedy show’s cast in 1975.

The View co-host Joy Behar once auditioned for Saturday Night Live. It did not go well.
The 81-year-old recalled the 1975 moment Wednesday on The View’s companion podcast, Behind the Table.

Michaels is famous for purposely not laughing during SNL auditions. Behar admitted it was still “a little depressing to have to audition for somebody and they don’t laugh.

Things on The View took a turn recently when Whoopi Goldberg had to shut everything down to deal with an unruly audience member.
Whoopi is not afraid to speak up about topics she thinks they should avoid or tell errant audience members to stop when breaking the rules.
Alyssa Farah Griffin was mid-sentence over something political when suddenly, Whoopi stood up and said they needed to stop.
“Sir. I have to stop you with your camera cause I can see you. Do me a favor; don’t pull it out again. I don’t appreciate that. Thank you.”
The other ladies were confused and scared. Joy Behar asked, “What was he doing?”
Sunny Hostin looked upset as Sara Haines whispered, “Recording.”
The New York Post reports that during a taping of The View, cellphones “are prohibited and are expected to be silenced or turned off during the live broadcast to avoid any interruptions.

Whoopi Goldberg openly scolded a member of the audience on The View during Tuesday’s live show, effectively pausing the broadcast. Keep reading to see why the seasoned panelist stopped the show to shame one of the audience members.
Whoopi Goldberg Calls Out An Audience Member For Shocking Behavior
The individual was trying to secretly record the Hot Topics portion of the show from his phone. Alyssa Farah Griffin and Sunny Hostin were talking about former President Trump’s legal issues. Whoopi interrupted them mid-sentence, staring at someone out in the audience.
“Hold on a second, hold on,” Whoopi Goldberg said. She got up from her seat at the table and approached the person, who stayed off-screen. “Sir, I have to stop you with the camera. Because I can see you.

On the Tuesday, March 19 episode of The View, the co-hosts wondered where is Kate Middleton. She’s been resting since undergoing abdominal surgery earlier this year.
However, people lost their trust in the Royal Family after they released a series of poorly edited photos and blurry videos.
There has been growing interest in Kate’s whereabouts. Conspiracy theories are on the rise, as a result.
Some rumors suggest that Kate passed away or is not doing well mentally because she’s not out and about. Kate hasn’t been seen with her family since Christmas.
She’s expected to return to the public after Easter.
