Gemma Bissix and Joseph Thompson have bid farewell to Hollyoaks fans in a new behind-the-scenes video.
The video comes just a week after their characters Clare Devine and Doctor Browning were killed off, with Clare's death coming as a particular shock to viewers.
In the video, shot prior to shooting their death scenes, Bissix says: "I've been really looking forward to it, I mean, Clare actually deserves to die... but it's really scary filming those final scenes."
Meanwhile Thompson, who viewers already knew was poised to leave after it was announced in August, described his exit from the show as "really sort of perfect and fitting," adding: "There's no going back from this point."
Four deaths have now been confirmed in the 'Hollyoaks Blast' week, with a fifth and final death to be revealed.

The 'Hollyoaks' beauty - who has reprised her role as soap superbitch Clare Devine - doesn't feel sorry for her co-star after the brunette stunner's ex-boyfriend, Sylvain Longchambon, split up with her and got together with his 'Dancing on Ice' partner Samia Ghadie. When asked if she has any sympathy for Jennifer, Gemma - who competed in the 2009 series of 'Dancing on Ice' - replied: ''No. She's a really strong girl and she knows these things happen for a reason. Actress Gemma Bissix is probably best known for her role in UK soaps Eastenders and Hollyoaks. However now she is turning her talent to voiceovers with The Lovers’ Guide 3D which she narrates with another former Hollyoaks star Jeremy Edwards.
Gemma kindly took some time out of her schedule to talk to us about her experience making The Lovers’ Guide 3D, and how she thinks it will go down *cough* with UK audiences.
What was your first reaction when you were asked to do the voice over for The Lovers’ Guide 3D?
First of all I thought it was quite funny, and then I thought to myself “Well I haven’t done any voice overs before” and that’s something I really wanted to get into, so I thought it would a great experience, and it was.
Did you learn anything from the film?

The Lovers’ Guide 3D
Stars: Cathy and Nick, Jasmine and Otto, Paula and Christian, Lana and Sebastian, Bea and James | Narrated by Jeremy Edwards, Gemma Bissix
Twenty years after the release of the first The Lovers’ Guide, this update takes lovemaking into the third dimension with another no-holds barred look at relationships, sex and, “igniting desire”. Actually the fourteenth entry in the franchise, The Lovers Guide 3D returns the series to the basics with chapters such as Flirting, Touching, Kissing and Sex taking viewers through all steps of lovemaking, all set out in a clear and unequivocally un-erotic fashion.
The Lovers Guide 3D takes the same stance as it’s more famous predecessor – education rather than titillation, with a script delivered stoically by narrators Jeremy Edwards and Gemma Bissix. Yes, despite all the pleasure on show in the film, there’s certainly no sense of pleasure in the voiceover, often...

It’s time to set the mood: light those candles, put on the Barry White CD, google a romantic poem off the internet, copy it out and pretend it’s your own. Fool her. Tease her. Then take her. Or something like that.
It’s pretty funny that we British have to have a manual for sex isn’t it? We’re so uptight and afraid of doing something wrong, aren’t we? But the iconic and famous Lover’s Guide is returning for a new generation with The Lover’s Guide: Igniting Desire… in 3D, to boot.
So fear no more! Once you’ve bought this DVD (best order it over the internet at Amazon, unless you’re dead brave and can stroll up to the counter in a HMV), take it home, watch it, talk about it like adults… then get at it like rabbits! Crash helmets, rubber...

Hollyoaks villain Warren Fox is returning to the soap in a shock storyline twist, it has been announced. Warren - played by Jamie Lomas - was last seen on screen in May 2009, when he appeared to be killed by a falling ceiling mirror during a blazing fire which was started by Clare Devine (Gemma Bissix) at The Loft. However, in a surprise new plotline due to air in the coming weeks, viewers will see that Warren actually managed to make it out of the burning building alive before fleeing the village, leaving his club business behind. With The Loft now owned by Cheryl Brady (Bronagh Waugh) and Danny Houston (Darren Day) and rebranded as Chez Chez, there looks to be trouble ahead for the pair as Warren returns to Hollyoaks in a bid to reclaim what he feels is rightfully his. Speaking of the new storyline, Hollyoaks' series producer...

Nicolas Cage obliged a Bath local's request to turn on the city's Christmas lights this afternoon – surely such a momentous occasion needs to be marked somehow?
Bath used to be known for several things – its hot springs, status as a world heritage site and sweeping Royal Crescent – but none of them are worth a damn any more. Because centuries of history have just been overshadowed by something magnificent: yes, Nicolas Cage has turned on the city's Christmas lights.
Cage's turn has put the rest of the country to shame, that's for sure. London had to make do with Jim Carrey. Manchester was forced to slum it with Alexandra Burke. Bristol had to endure Peter Andre. The poor folk of Tetbury in Gloucestershire will have to watch their Christmas lights being switched on next week by someone ignominiously described by a local website as "a former Heartbeat actor", for crying out loud.
