Back in 2011, Rob Swire and Gareth McGrillen stole our hearts with Knife Party‘s first Ep, 100% No Modern Talking. Aggressive, horror-stricken dubstep was what the people wanted, and that’s exactly what they delivered. Having played a pivotal role in dance music as members of both Pendulum and Knife Party, these two producers have nailed an iconic sound. Their newest Ep, Trigger Warning, is a valiant attempt to return to their roots, but falls a bit short, and has left us wondering what took so long.
Continuing with their satire on all of Edm, the Ep opens up with “Plur Police,” a big room tune with belching lines of irony. It’s got all the requisite vocal samples and raucous behavior of a Knife Party production, centering around poking fun at Edm’s current state of affairs. But remember, Knife Party dropped a little track called “Lrad” which sparked the entire craze,...

Lindsay, you’ve got to kidding! An airport shopping spree cost you a trip to the Vienna Opera Ball!
Lindsay Lohan was supposed to accompany Austrian billionaire Richard Lugner, 77, to the annual Vienna Opera Ball (he has taken a big-name celeb every year, including Pamela Anderson, Paris Hilton and Sophia Loren) but it turns out Lindsay’s shopping addiction has cut the party short, E! Online reports. A recent shopping spree maxed out her credit card, and she couldn’t afford the $22,000 fee the airline was charging her for holding the flight.
Earlier this month, Richard blabbed to the media about Lindsay’s crazy demands for the event: All alcohol was to be kept out of Lindsay’s site, and she even requested that the date of the ball be moved to accomodate her. Sorry, Lindsay, but the ball has happened the Thursday before Ash Wednesday every year since 1936.

Cologne, Germany -- Rtl and Sat.1, Germany's two largest commercial networks, both turn 25 this year, a milestone in the history of European television.
But while champagne corks are popping at Rtl's headquarters in Cologne, Sat.1's staff is preparing for a pink slip party, with hundreds of jobs expected to go in cost-cutting measures.
Rtl is pulling out all the stops for its big bash. The channel's stars, such as Dieter Bohlen, Germany's answer to Simon Cowell, hoist birthday cakes on posters and billboards across the country. Teasers and promos for new shows bear a "Rtl 25 Years" logo and a primetime show is planned with highlights from a quarter century of commercial TV.
Sat.1's celebrations, meanwhile, are limited to a few clips and "best-of" photos on the channel's Web site.
Sat.1 can hardly afford a blowout party. Parent company ProSiebenSat.1 is weighed down with more than $5 billion in debt...
