Was born in Ystrad Mynach, Hengoed, Wales, and moved to the U.S. at a young age, growing up in North Carolina, Georgia, and Tennessee.
Graduated from Duke University.
Garnered his role as coroner's assistant Gary Scott in Rob Zombie's Halloween II based on a personal recommendation to Zombie from Sid Haig. Has since appeared in several more Zombie films.
Attended Western Reserve Academy (Class of 1983) in Hudson, Ohio.
His family emigrated to Atlanta, Georgia from South Wales in 1967.
Studied acting in New York at the Michael Chekhov Studio under Jim Boerlin and Beatrice Straight and in London at The Mountview Theatre School and the School for the Science of Acting under esteemed acting teacher Sam Kogan.
Editing his first film he wrote and directed, entitled "Adam". (June 2008)
His first ever acting role was as Judge Danforth in Arthur Miller's The Crucible while a student at W.R.A. in 1982.
