WWE’s “Raw Reunion” Monday night pinned down 3.093 million total viewers, an increase of 26% from last week’s regular ol’ “Raw” episode.
In terms of both total viewers and the key 18-49 demographic, last night’s “Raw” was actually the highest-rated episode since the April 16, 2018 Superstar Shakeup.
Yes, that means it did even better than the “Raw” after WrestleMania 35, which is a big performer annually and marks the start of World Wrestling Entertainment’s new “season.” Monday’s episode was 5% higher among adults 18-49 than that April 8, 2019 fallout show, and did 6% better overall.

The “Raw Reunion” did not keep pace with Jan. 22, 2018’s “Raw 25” episode, which celebrated the 25th anniversary of WWE’s flagship series on USA Network.

The WWE has always closely watched collegiate athletes and it looks like they might have found their next top recruit. But who is Jacob Kasper, the young man that talent scout Gerald Brisco hopes to bring to the WWE? It was ESPN that first reported that the WWE had a huge interest in the young Kasper, a collegiate wrestling superstar from Duke University. Finding stars in college that can transition to the WWE is not easy, but when they find one it is usually a monster signing. Brock Lesnar and Shelton Benjamin came from the University of Minnesota straight to the […]

The full content listing for the upcoming WWE DVD and Blu-ray set on the life and death of Owen Hart has been revealed, courtesy of the Wrestling DVD Network. The list includes all chapter titles for the documentary feature on disc one, as well as all extras, including the full list of matches selected for the package.
Bret Hart recently commented on the documentary portion of the set, sounding very pessimistic about the chances that the documentary will do a good job telling the full story of his brother’s life. Bret believes that WWE is having to walk on egg shells to cater to Owen’s widow, Martha, who is not supporting the DVD release.
Bret told the Fight Network:
“I’m looking forward to it but I’m not really optimistic that it’s going to be a great job. Martha handcuffed them so much. I...

Chael Sonnen will be meeting with WWE announcer Michael Cole on August 11 when the Smackdown tapings take place in Portland, Oregon. The meeting was set up by WWE talent scout Gerald Brisco and WWE’s Senior Director of Talent Development Canyon Ceman, reports the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.
Sonnen previously met with WWE during WrestleMania weekend in San Jose, but it was nothing formal. Chances are that WWE must have liked what they heard from the former Ufc star because if they want a meeting now then there must be some sort of interest.
Jeff Chiu/AP/Press Association Images
Since Sonnen is 38 years old and has never wrestled a match before, if he does work for WWE he probably won’t be in a match. He would likely be brought in to be a commentator since that’s what his role has been since November of last year.

Dusty Rhodes was laser focused on improving his health when he met with fellow wrestling legend Jerry Brisco last week, and feeling good about his prognosis. Brisco -- who's known Rhodes for decades -- tells TMZ Sports they hung out in Orlando last Thursday, and Rhodes talked about how he was going to the doctor regularly. He'd been told he needed to bring his blood pressure down, and Brisco says Dusty's weight loss was helping.

Meet Tony Nelson, currently in talks to sign with WWE. He is being touted as the future of WrestleMania and if he signs as expected would be the latest WWE star to be recruited from Ncaa Heavyweight Wrestling out of the University Of Minnesota.
Nelson was picked up by WWE Scout Gerald Brisco, who stated his belief that Nelson could be main eventing WrestleMania in just four years time. The college Champion certainly has all the physical attributes, he won the Ncaa titles in both 2012 and 2013. He also had some offers from the NFL which tells you everything you need to know about just how athletic this young man really is.
Brisco used to be roommates with Nelson’s current wrestling coach, J Robinson, so he had the inside track in signing the prospect. Brisco had a April 23rd deadline to get the deal done, which...

The Wrestling Observer reports on a worsening of relations between Vince McMahon and Jim Ross.
The legendary WWE announcer recently told an embarrassing Vince McMahon story on the Anthony and Opie Show, referencing that the chairman once went on TV after “sharting” his trousers. The incident was over a decade ago, Vince was in the gorilla position with Gerald Brisco, and as a rib he bent down to fart in Brisco’s face. Unfortunately Vince followed through and even more unfortunately he was immediately due out in the ring for a Mr. McMahon segment. He had no choice but to go to the ring with a brown stain in his khaki trousers, which none of the production team dared to show.
This week on Raw we witnessed what was probably a Vince inspired response to Ross telling this story. John Bradshaw Layfield on commentary started talking about how much...

Another Thursday, another episode of Impact Wrestling passes us by, and tonight had all the makings of an excellent outing for the second largest wrestling organisation. Both the X-Division Championship and the World Tag Team Championships would be defended, there would be a tag team tables match featuring Bully Ray and Sting against members of Aces & Eights, and hopefully we will be treated to some explanations as to why Garrett Bischoff and Wes Brisco turned on their mentor Kurt Angle to join the nefarious biker gang.
Once again, the Impact Zone was emanating from Manchester in the United Kingdom, so expect some raucous crowd interaction and a great deal of low-key racism from the heel superstars tonight. The UK love it when either Tna or WWE come to their neck of the woods, and they will certainly try and make the most of the extended stay of the Impact wrestlers on their shores.
