- At 20 years of age, he auditioned for the role of singer/dancer at Sydney's former amusement park Australia's Wonderland. He got the job which he did for a year and considers it a turning point in his new career path.
- After school he moved to Melbourne for a year and attended VCA. The following year he returned to Sydney to conduct business studies.
- He landed his first TV role while he was still at school, in 1993. He played Brad the Yabbie Creek soccer player in Home and Away.
- Appears in a panto every year (for the last four years) in Singapore and Dubai playing everything from Jack in 'Jack and Jill' to the Prince in 'The Nutcracker'.
- He also loves dabbling in video production and editing, and has co-written and directed some musical reviews over the last few years.
- In Year 11 he was part of The Sydney Schools Drama Ensemble, consisting of 15 students from all around NSW touring regional areas.
- Had a sporting background, including representing his school at state level in swimming and athletics.
