- Was originally called "Diamond" Darrell when Pantera was a glam-metal band.
- Five people died in the Columbus, Ohio rampage. That included Darrell, one fan present at the concert, an employee of the concert hall, one of Darrell's bodyguards, and the attacker himself, who was shot by a police officer present at the club.
