Over the past 25 years, Andrew Dawson has built one of the more unique careers in Los Angeles: VO performer, sound designer and editor, ADR supervisor, teacher, and demo producer. His sound work is heard on hundreds of TV and film projects, winning an Emmy Award for Best Sound on "American Horror Story: Asylum" and Emmy nominations for the 2016 remake of "Roots" and the Netflix series "Freeridge". In addition, Andrew's voice can be heard on a regular basis in promos, trailers, commercials, and video games.
Earned a Bachelor of Science in Music and Audio Engineering from Indiana University-Bloomington. Was awarded the Performer's Certificate in Trumpet, and played in many symphony orchestras.
Has a major hobby as an underwater photographer, traveling during summer breaks in TV production.
Originally from the Boston area, his father is a neurologist, his mother a social worker.
