Marjorie Dorner

Marge Dorner was born in a small farming community near Green Bay,
Wisconsin. She is the third oldest of eight children. After college,
she moved to Winona, Minnesota and was a professor of English Lit at
the Winona State University. During her time there, she wrote several
novels, including Nightmare (which was made into the television movie
Don't Touch My Daughter (1991)), Family Closets, and Winter Roads, Summer Fields (which was a
collection of short stories). She adopted two daughters from India. She
is currently retired and living in Minneapolis.
