- Bud Duncan was born on October 31, 1883 in Brooklyn, New York, USA. He was an actor and writer, known for Private Snuffy Smith (1942), Hillbilly Blitzkrieg (1942) and Mutt and Jeff and the Italian Strikers (1912). He died on November 25, 1960 in Los Angeles, California, USA.

- A filmed puppet show provided the visuals for a television adaptation of Bud Duncan's starring radio role as the title role of THE CINNAMON BEAR with the recorded transcription of that 31 episode radio serial providing the audio story. A complete CINNAMON BEAR Television serial has yet to surface' although there have been some scattered reports of several of the chapters being found .
